NZXT Phantom PHAN-001BK Black Steel / Plastic Enthusiast ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: - Extensive room on the interior
- Great look on the exterior
- Screwless components are nice
- The fan controls are a nice addition once you get them set up

Cons: - Plastic exterior components pick up fingerprints easily
- Snap-ins for the plastic exterior can be stubborn sometimes
- Minimal USB support on the case itself
- For PSUs with extensive cabling, management can be a little snug behind behind the rear access panel (nowhere near as bad as many smaller cases though)
- Fan control cabling had to be rearranged so that the non-stock 200mm top fan could reach its supply

Other Thoughts: Depending on the motherboard you've got and how many of the 5.25" bays you're utilizing, a 5.25" bay USB panel can be purchased pretty cheaply if you're not satisfied between the case and your mobo.

Pros: Case is awesome, features are great, nice look, plenty of room

Cons: Fans it comes with are terrible. Customer support non existent

I bought this case in march. 3 weeks ago one of the fans on the side panel threw 2 blades. A couple of days later my graphics cards were over heating while I was playing WoT. Upon inspection I found that the fan on top failed and was running maybe 60-100 rpms tops. 2 times I have tried to get a hold of somebody to get this problem fixed and no one has gotten back to me. I had to buy all new fans which are working great. The cas is very nice but I will not be buying one of NZXT's products again. I am very disappointed.

Pros: Nice case, sleek look, very roomy.. will fit Noctua NH-D14.

Cons: The case was bent and the top 200mm fan was broken when I opened this. I was able to live with the case being bent in a few locations, however the top fan needed to be replaced. I contacted Newegg and they didn't want to do anything for me in regards to sending a new fan. This computer needed to be built and finished today, I don't have time to wait for a new case and Newegg would not work with me to make a reasonable resolution. Perhaps next time I should try a local shop instead.

Pros: Plenty of room. Looks amazing. Great Airflow. All of the ports and fans on the case worked great with no issues. The fan controller on the top of the system is convenient.

Cons: Had to remove the 200mm side fan i purchased (from nzxt since its considered a 192mm fan which is another con that you cant just buy any fan to put in) to put my H80 cpu cooler into the system. Just going to use the 200mm fan I removed as a backup in case one of the top fans stops working or breaks so not really a con worth an egg.

Wish they made a model with red leds.

Other Thoughts: Overall very happy with the case and would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade to a new case.

Pros: Very nice looking case
It is large holds everything easily
Great cable management
Can hold many fans

Cons: The fans seem very cheap one of the fans came with a cracked blade and made a rattling noise then snapped off, this also happened to with one of the fans from my previous nzxt cases. It is not a huge deal but it is rather annoying.

Other Thoughts: I would highly recommend this case to anyone looking for something different, it is great if you are going to be air cooling and you can do a water cooling loop in it but that will most likely require mods that an average user might not want to get themselves into.

Pros: The case is pretty solid built (but 20~ lbs with nothing in it as well), which I've come to expect from pretty much every NZXT case I've had so far.

The bay clips/holders in this model are at least, by far notably better than in my old NZXT case as well, and the front bay's ease of access though the slide/clip blocks actually allow airflow decently too while the bay door is open.

Cons: Be warned they do not joke about the guarantee on FN-200's fitment, the FN-200 fan is by like .1mm itself -just- good enough to fit into the upper bay compared to the other 200mm fans I tried, none would fit without pressure on the sides of the fan to where it simply wouldn't spin.

The main reason I'm listing this as a con (even though they warn about it) is due to
1) It seems like something they really could have adjusted for, it's not like it's an exclusive size
2) There seem to be few places to buy the FN-200 LED models, newegg unfortunately not included.

Other Thoughts: Be warned if you get a 'standing' CPU cooler (eg; Zalman CNPS9900MAX), they will be 'tall' enough to collide with the side-panel 200mm, I find now I should have probably grabbed a 120mm sized one, instead of the 135mm.

All in all, the case is great, add a true modular PSU to go with the cases native design for clean wiring and the cases airflow keeps temps incredibly low (factoring in CPU/GPU coolers too of course)

Pros: This case is very nice. The black has a nice finish and comes with 4 fans for plenty of cooling. There is a ton of room to work with and the gromets/openings are great for cable managment.

Cons: This case is very big, but I expected that. 1 of the spring loaded thumb screws was broken. Not bad enough to knock an egg off for.

Cons: wrong hookups,had to cut hole in it to make cpu fan fit,too much heat comming out of top,wrong connectors for most motherboards.

Other Thoughts: save money buy a different case

Pros: The case itself is a superb bit of work. Wonderful space and cable management. Very clean and workmanship is great.

Cons: Ordered a clear window side panel to replace the stock one from the NZXT website since it's not available here. They sent me a white one by mistake and I'm trying to get a replacement one. But this is turning out to be a nightmare. No answered emails and their online ticketed system is clearly not monitored. For a highly regarded case maker they need to step up their customer service as it leaves much to be desired.

Pros: Looks amazing with the glossy finish, huge amount of space for High-end hardware or future upgrades. Cable management is a breeze, good airflow i mean i could keep going for hours!!!!!

Other Thoughts: havent seen anyone state anything about the amount of space between the motherboard and the side panel, plenty of space for your thick cables to fit in without having to smash down the panel in order to fit witch is always a plus!

Finally got everything assembled tonight and have seen improvements in my temps. all around just completely blown away with this case, I would definitely recommend
