5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mid Tower Case!

Pros: The case itself has tons of room for long graphic cards. I personally have a EVGA 670 GTX and it fits with extra room. Other than that everything else works as expected if not better. I'm a big fan of the tool-less PCI slots.

The case does look amazing and though the temps are not the most accurate thing, they are cool to have.

Cons: Many things in the case itself do seem to fail from time to time but NZXT's customer service always seems to fix or replace the problem without any questions asked.

Problems that i have experienced so far are:
Both USB ports on the side of the case ended up breaking. (Replaced)
The clips that hold down PCI cards are cheap and start to break. (Replaced)

Something to watch out for is definitely aftermarket CPU coolers. Pretty much any CPU fan/heatsink will fit aslong as you take off the side intake fan.

Other Thoughts: I do believe that NZXT has superior customer service. People who are complaining about the USB 2.0 on the side of the case should try to contact customer service. I called them yesterday and was told that they have a new updated USB board that supports 2 3.0s instead of 2.0s. They're more than happy to ship you the replacement aslong as they have it in stock. Same goes for the clips that hold down the PCI cards.

Any problems that i have had with the case so far has been taken care of by their amazing customer service. Definitely plan on buying another NZXT case for future builds/upgrades.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat case, but failed on me.

Pros: Great ventilation, pretty case, worth the price at first.

Cons: The front panel is bad when you have CD/DVD/Whatever drives, as it gets in the way and is pushed open when they open automatically.

My front LEDs and display COMPLETELY failed a while back. :(

I tried investigating, looks like they just shut off and gave up. Considered manually replacing them, but I think it might be the board in the front, and not the LEDs themselves.
Meh.

Other Thoughts: I like NZXT but I might buy a higher end model next time.

4 out of 5 eggs6 months on

Pros: Still a great case, and well designed. Also eye catching and easily kept clean. Would buy again.

Cons: One of the deciding factors in buying this case, was the temperature sensors and read out.
I invested in liquid cooling, which I was that confident about using, but using an I7 processor, I wanted to protect my investment.
Over the last 6 months, the temperature display has slowly got darker, and is now to the point where it can not be seen anymore, which is a disappointment.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsNzxt.

Pros: Looks great, fits nice.

Cons: Well as a mid tower atx.... space can be tight and wire management can be a challenge at times.

Other Thoughts: Looks cool, is cool, stays cool.

4 out of 5 eggsHmm!

Pros: +Tooless design
+Excellent look
+3 Thermal probes that allow you to monitor whatever you please
+Generally sturdy

Cons: -The instruction manual was completely useless and even confusing. It has no real text on it, and it just expects the pictures alone to convey what to do. Another problem is that it won't explain nor tell you WHAT exactly the thermal probes are and what to do with them.
-The PCI slots have a kind of frustrating design that can lead to snapped plastic if you aren't ginger and calm with it. I snapped one of the parts off, but it was my fault for not being more careful.

Other Thoughts: It does really irk me that they have such awful instructions included with this case, but it's not really a bad case by any means! I may have snapped a plastic part allowing for tooless installation, but they still have the screw holes for typical installation in case such a thing happens!

If you're planning on getting this case make sure you are careful with it. If you take it slow and carefully, you won't run the risk of breaking anything.

Manufacturer Response:

3 out of 5 eggsPretty awesome, but...

Pros: It looks sleek, has a fair amount of fans, and the LED lights look just fantastic on it. This case was for my first build, and I'm able to fit all my parts in it without a problem.

Cons: When the case arrived, part of the plastic window on the side was cracked off of one of the hinges which held it in place; a simple bit of super glue to reattach the chip that came off to hold the plastic back in place was enough to fix this. No big deal, but unfortunately, it turns out that the audio/microphone jack for the case were bent so I almost feel like I'm going to break my headphones/microphone when I plug them in (currently using my motherboard's ports as of now). That's where I draw the line and take off an egg.

Another issue I had with the case is that, while they do allow you to take off the other side panel to store your cables behind it, there's practically zero room for your cables to actually fit. The only reason my case's cable management is decent is because I use a modular PSU. With that, another egg is taken off.

Other Thoughts: It's a good case overall; I'm aware that the cracks/bad ports on the case aren't a universal issue with this case, but it can happen, so be careful. If you get this case and it comes in better condition than it did for me, then by all means, unless you're a cable management fanatic you won't be disappointed.

2 out of 5 eggsGood case, with caveats

Pros: - Stylish
- Cheap
- Roomy
- Temperature sensors

Cons: - Cable management could be better.
- The instructions should be more detailed. They have no information regarding the temperature sensors installation.
- Awful, terrible installation of the fan on the transparent panels. Be warned, it has NO screws! (see other thoughts).

Other Thoughts: The reason I am giving this case two eggs, despite the cost-benefit ratio of its looks versus price, is because the fan on the left panel (the one with the semi-transparent plastic). I bought this case as part of custom gaming computer I was assembling as a gift. I am using the Hyper 212 cooler from Cooler Master and I knew from reviews that I needed to remove the cooler from the panel. I figured that it would be no big deal and ordered it.
Wrong. Unlike the fan installed over the motherboard external port area, which is held in its place by screws, the fan on the panel uses some kind of plastic pins, that had no marks for a screwdriver. I guess that using a heat gun could help to remove the fan, or just directly breaking it. And the fan is in the middle of the plastic window!

I resorted to pry the fan from the pins as carefully as I could using a flat screwdriver. I got 2 pins outs, but removing the third one caused a big crack on the plastic window, all the way from the center to the border.

Eventually I removed the fourth and finished assembling the case. And, as you can guess, it didn't look so well as a gift.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: sleek and sexy.
distributes airflow pretty successfully.
the thermometer gauges are pointless but still classy.

Cons: the inner case is very crammed and difficult to work in. in fact my video card was too long to even fit inside of it so i had to remove a few pieces of the inner case to make it all fit.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty Nice for the Price

Pros: Sleek design, plenty of room, screw-less drive bays, temperature sensors, good airflow.

Cons: Side window is tinted, some trouble with the audio ports with the front (the USB ports work fine, I maybe just hooked something up wrong...), the levers that hold the expansion card cover panels in the back in place are FRAGILE! I already broke one installing some NZXT case lights. It still kind of works but I'm disappointed that it broke so easily...

Other Thoughts: I hear the LEDs on the front door fade significantly after a few years. The case would have been that much more impressive with a clearer window. The case lights helped light up the inside but not much. Overall this is a good case for a good price, does the job well, and looks very nice on my desk.
