Pros: Came in a box at least

Cons: The case I received was used. It was missing screw packets, a manual, and also missing a USB 3.0 cable.

1 out of 5 eggsREAD THIS BEFORE YOU BUY

Pros: Came in a box

Cons: - Case has visible damage: scratches, chipped paint, dents. They clearly sold me a used case.

- Case didn't have screws it was SUPPOSED to come with.

- Case didn't have a manual it was SUPPOSED to come with.

Other Thoughts: Needed a computer case for a new build, now I can't build a new computer because the case is missing motherboard screws I need. Would give it zero stars if it let me.

Very disappointed, don't think I'll ever shop Newegg or NZXT ever again.

3 out of 5 eggsA great case but disappointing nevertheless

Pros: - This case is beautiful
- Love the space it provides behind the right panel for cable management
- I really appreciate the filters for the intake vents and fans
- Nice labeling on the case itself to help in the installation of the motherboard
- Did I mention this case is BEAUTIFUL?

Cons: My problems started when I turned on my build for the first time and the case fans do not kick in. I check every connection and everything looks good. After visiting the NZXT forums and Googling my issue, I am now convinced that I am missing a molex connector for the fans. I got power to the fans but it took some fiddling and switching out of a power connector to get things going and I am very sure that I am not powering the fans as originally intended because the fan control on the front panel does nothing. The reason I was so confused is the alleged manual that comes with the case is utterly abysmal, like some dreadful knockoff of the instructions for constructing a shelf unit from Ikea only with 75% of the pages missing. It took me going to Google to even figure out what connectors are meant to come with the bloody thing. Considering all the added features this case had they really needed to give us more information on how the darn thing is supposed to work properly.

Other Thoughts: I bought this case on the strength of the great Silent PC Review article on it and spent more than I originally intended to. While I did get the fans working, they are not working as they should and I am unable to change their speed thus they're making more noise than I had hoped they would especially as making a quiet build was part of why I bought this case to start with. The real root of the problem here is the awful documentation which would have saved me a lot of hassle had I been able to diagnose my issue before putting my whole build together just so I could be disappointed. It still gets 3 eggs for how gosh darn pretty it is but I cannot in good conscience truly recommend this case and NZXT products based on my experience.

Manufacturer Response:

4 out of 5 eggsFantastic case

Pros: -Slick, clean design.
-Amazing cable management with tons of tie-downs.
-Front, removable fans are ridiculously easy to clean
-Quiet, especially when the fans are at low and mid speed.
-Temps are really great.

Cons: -Pre-installed fans are ridiculously loud on the highest setting.
-The pins for mounting drives will not stay in place. Better off using screws.

Other Thoughts: Very happy with this case. Plan on replacing all the stock fans with gentle typhoons in hopes to run them on max with little noise.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome case.

Pros: I bought this case primarily for the sleek design. It's extremely nice too look at. Three fans, cable management, no trouble fitting everything, easy-to-clean filter... I like everything this case has to offer so far.

Cons: None so far. Maybe not as quiet as expected, but that isn't the reason I bought this case anyhow.

3 out of 5 eggsSpoiled by P280

Pros: * Nice design
* Spacious
* GF loves it.
* Handy drive bay on the top
* Side foam feels nice?
* The front fans come out without opening the side of the case (making installation of after market fans a breeze).

Cons: Oh, where to begin...
* The rubber grommets for the cable management are annoying. They came off too easily and are hard to put back on. You might as well run all the cables you need before trying to put all the rubber grommets back in place.
* The hard drive bays are not intuitive at all. Yeah, they're tool-less, but you need to slide them back in from the front of the case (why? I do not know) and that's after bending the tray itself so you can put those pegs into the hard drive. It was a little more than frustrating to deal with. Since I have to connect the drive to the motherboard anyhow, why even bother with front-panel access?
* The rear slots' screws were hard to unscrew. Despite knowing they're tool-less, you're going to need a screwdriver.
* There should be more space in the back for cable management.

Other Thoughts: I bought this case for my gf who wanted a white case. I chose this one because many reviews put these as silent and great to work with. It certainly looks nice and it was pretty spacious, but there were a lot of little things that made it frustrating for me to work with. Hard drive bays not being intuitive, the rubber grommets continuously coming off whenever I tried to route a cable, the rear slot screws, even screwing in the motherboard stand-offs were frustrating.

Compared to my Antec P280, this case is completely about form over function. Yeah, its white, its pretty, but it isn't worth my blood. I'd definitely tell others to find another silent case.

3 out of 5 eggsPretty good, but...some issues.

Pros: Case is well built, everything is of nice quality and it runs pretty quiet as intended. Love the attention to detail and the extras (hot swap-able bay, USB 3.0).

Cons: The front i/o panel doesn't work. If I connect the front i/o header to the motherboard, my computer refuses to start up. Made a report about it on the NZXT forums so I'll wait to see how it goes. The front USB 3.0 doesn't work either, even though I have the connector hooked up to the port on the back of the motherboard. Also, the audio playback on the headphone jack on the front sounds a lot cheaper/hollow sounding compared to the other audio ports on my PC. My guess is the entire front i/o doesn't like me.

Other Thoughts: In hindsight, I wish I went with the black one. But white was a good change of scenery.

4 out of 5 eggsGood case but...

Pros: Price, port placement, HDD seta connector on the top is pretty awesome. Came with fans. Fan selector speed(See other). It is quiet just as others have said. Ports in the back for water cooling tubes. Cables are nicely hidden. Many racks for more HDD's.

Cons: Placement of the power supply was not ideal for me. More fans can be purchased and at least one should be for the top.

Other Thoughts: I got the Crosshair V Formula mobo and at first I liked the idea of a fan selector speed but it does not want to play nice with my mobo (ie i cannot connect it to it for the mobo to auto control fan speeds as needed). Important to keep in mind.
