what MB do I need for this case?

This is a fairly large case, and AFAIK works with any "ATX" series mother board, from full size to mini, perhaps micro.  Probably won't work with the "ITX" series.

If you had a particularly large or expanded ATX m/b (maybe a multi-cpu, large memory, extended bus m/b), it could possibly be too large, but IMO that would be difficult to find.

Question 2

Exactly how many fans, and of what sizes, are included with the case? NewEgg and the manufacturer's website seem to have conflicting info.

Total of 7(8 if you have no power supply), there are 2 on top 120-140mm (pre-installed 140mm), the side is a 120-140mm, the 2 in the front 120mm only, rear fan is 120mm only(pre-installed with 120mm), and one on the bottom which is 120mm only.

Thing to note: I went with an Amd build and I bought an Fx-proc and a hyper 212 Evo its almost too tall for the case so get a cooler if you are going to throw the stock one away(recommended)with a max height of 155mm(The hyper 212 is 159.5mm and the extra space in the case says its 160mm.)

Does this case have a 20-pin USB 3.0 connector?

Yes, but it only has one front USB 3.0 port.

Can you remove one of the hard drive cages?

I don't know off the top of my head, but no I do not think you can. It's an all right case, but I might suggest looking at a different one. The dried paint in some of the screwholes made it difficult to mount the motherboard. Also the from audio jack is kind of buggy and cuts out every now and then. Besides that its a good case for the price, but just keep those things in mind.

I have 2 dogs. Does this case have good protection against getting dog hair in side of it?

With 2 places for fans on the top of the case dust and hair will get inside the computer. However with regular cleaning (1 to 2 times a month) it shouldn't be much of an issue. Just used compressed air and blow off the inside of the case and the fans, make sure you are holding the fans still to prevent them from spinning.

Is the case all metal or is the face plastic? What parts are plastic if any?

The face and some embellishments around the front are plastic, as well as some of the tool less mechanisms, but the rest is painted metal. It has a nice non gloss finish to it and the inside of the case looks really great for an economy priced unit.

Question 7

Are the case fans quiet and good?

They are not dead silent as you do have air blowing but there is no audible whirr or motor noise if that is what you are asking. 
I am no expert on fan quality but I can feel air moving when I place my hand near so they do the job.

Question 8

i was wondering how many fans does this come with and how many more can be added and also where do i put my hard drive cause im thinking of using my old laptop hard drive because my laptop just died?

1. It only came with 2 fans (one 120mm & one 140mm).

2. You can add 5 more fans (2-top, 1-side, 2-front)

3. The drive bays are just for DVD and the standard 3.5 inch hard drive. There is no bracket/adapter for the 2.5 inch laptop hard drive. You can probably just mount the hard drive from your laptop on bottom of the DVD/CD drive bay, and just screw it there.

4. Buy a 2.5 HDD to 3.5 HDD adapter.

Question 9

I am looking to put a custom case window on this. Should i be able to cut through it with just a dremel and a cutting disk?

If you do and you don't have the stock cooler make sure the plexi isn't gonna touch the top of your cooler(unless you are running water cooling) I had this issue and melted the plexi,. but yes it cuts very well.

I see it says that it has audio ports on the front. Any chance one of those is a port for a mic? Thanks.
