2 out of 5 eggsA bit expensive for the quality

Pros: -Versatile
-Devil looking case
-Removable HDD cage
-Supports 240mm Radiator
-Great airflow (when you add fans)

Cons: -Deplorable space for cable management, obviously.
-Cheap plastics cover feels like it's gonna break everytime I touch'em
-A bit expensive
-Bad quality fans becamed noisy after 6 months
-Fan controller do not work when all the fans are plugged in it, needed to buy another fan controller to make my fans work at 100% rpm
-BAD design I mean BAD, on the front panel. They added a dust filter on the front mesh wich is completely useless, because they let a big hole on the bottom of it wich let all the dust get in my system wich has Two Reference Design HD 7950's with blowers. All people know that blowers need fresh air, with no dust to not get it packed on the heatsink of the gpu.

Other Thoughts: No other toughts, everything has been said, probably wouldn't buy another NZXT case.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello, Valued NZXT Customer

We appreciate the feed-back and we deeply apologize for the parts that have became defective with your case. We can assist with a parts replacement all we would need you to do is visit our website at Once there we will be able to replace the fans also what I’m reading is the fan controller as well. We would also need an invoice on file as well once we have those piece of documentation we will be able to proceed forward with a replacement.

Kind regards,
NZXT Support.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Case

Pros: Comes with a very glossy look all along the case, and the paint matches the plastic very well, almost to where there's no difference in color.

I bought a few fan splitters with this case, turned out I didn't need them because the fans are hooked up to the fan controller and are powered through the power supply through a molex connector.

Comes with a good amount of space in the back for cable management, along with other cool features.

Cons: Front panel is rather hard to open, using quite a bit of force just to lock it in place and open it up to get to the optical drives.

The Rubber Grommets for the cable management holes don't stay in very well, and when you are routing cables through, they tend to pop off rather easily.. I spent about 15 minutes alone putting them back on. But that's just a slight annoyance.

Other Thoughts: Case is cheap for the amount of features you are getting and the quality is excellent. I'm rather pleased with this purchase and I would recommend. I got tired of my old NZXT case as it was too stock looking and square. This one definitely enhances my desk and is a great conversation starter among LAN parties :)

4 out of 5 eggsGood, but a few notes

Pros: This case is solid, not easily scratchable, and I have seen worse dust collectors in my time.
Airflow is very good, lots of water or air cooling options, sturdy back plane for motherboard mounting, and plenty of cable routing options.

Cons: Only a few issues. The window is mounted on twisted clips that allow it to rattle, this is easily solved with some silicon or rubber. The power supply cable routing options are not quite up to snuff, larger holes would have made this build look a little cleaner and faster to put together. And the side air vent for GPU cooling seems to be benign, additional noise without cooling benefit.

Other Thoughts: Overall a good looking, sturdy case with few issues and should make the average builder pretty happy, but their are better options for this price range though they may not look as edgy.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: This case is absolutely perfect. Plenty of options for cable management. Even being my first build I had all the cables flush and put the side panel on with zero effort or resistance because the case is so well designed for that. Comes with plenty of fans, and options for expanding and adding up to four more. The removable section of hard drive bays is nice for improved airflow if you only have two hard drives, and the back loading inserts are great for ease of installation, and again helping keep the cables neat. Mid tower case but still has 2 USB 3 and 2 USB 2 ports on the top, as well as a 3 speed fan control. It looks sexy and very sleek. Quality case through and through.

Cons: I wish it came in a black with blue trim. Not really a con for the case itself, but of all the color options they have, that would have been nice to see. Also, the rubber grommets are a nice touch, but they come off SOOOO easily. I was constantly having to fix them throughout the build, and with a bunch of cables sticking through it, that is easier said than done. When they are in place, they look sharp though.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Case

Pros: Plenty of room
Integrate Fan controller
Cable management
Fantastic look

Cons: Not even a con, more of a request, but if NZXT could make a Phantom 410 with a fan controller that allows you more fan control that would be awesome. Like I said, just a request.

Other Thoughts: I bought the red Phantom 410 for my wife's gaming PC and bought this one for my own(which sadly died a week ago). I absolutely love this thing. I love the removable hard drive cage. If you can have two intake fans up front and take out the removable cage that allows a ton of fresh air intake. I love this case and the NZXT brand. If I can afford it whenever the time comes, I will always buy the Phantom series cases, they are fantastic.

5 out of 5 eggsWonderful Case

Pros: -Sleek design (glossy black, angular, blue LEDs)
-Easy to set up
-Good cable management
-Good airflow
-Good space (on the large end of the mid-tower spectrum)
-Easily removed/accessed HDD bays
-Fans are near silent

Cons: -Top fan wobbles slightly (not enough to make noise or cause problems)
-Glossy case is prone to fingerprints

Other Thoughts: This case is fantastic. If you want a case large enough to fit some quality components, but not so large that it weighs 50+ pounds, then this case is perfect. It fit a Sapphire 290 Vapor-X GPU (with just barely not enough room to keep the extra removable HDD bays) and a be quiet! Dark Rock 3 CPU cooler with plenty of room to spare.

It also looks great. The sleek glossy black finish and nice angular shape set it apart without sacrificing airflow. The downside is that the case is very prone to fingerprints, so try not to touch it too much if that bothers you. The cool blue LEDs are aesthetically very pleasing for anyone who doesn't care for red LEDs (like most cases seem to have).

Highly recommended.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: Pretty roomy
Plenty of space for cable management
Good airflow without additional fans
Built in mini fan controller

Cons: Was more difficult to build with than NZXT Source 530.
Cannot control each fan individually on fan controller.
Felt cheap

Other Thoughts: Built with this for a friend. Not really a fan of the look. Preferred the NZXT Source 530's style and overall the 530 felt like a more premium case while this is going more for the flare & this look.

4 out of 5 eggsLike any case, not perfect. But very good.

Pros: Spacious, Good cable management, Internal fan controller for up to 6 fans, stock fans pretty quiet but still effective, good for SLI/Crossfire with side fan mount, has a good window for CPU RAM view, screwless drive mounts for 3.5/2.5/5.25 drives, fairly finger smudge resistant, and allows for large CPU coolers and fits even the largest GPU's. Power Supply mount has rubber feet to reduce noise as well. Sturdy build material.

Cons: The cable hole grommets are very flexible, not really an issue but they come out pretty easy when routing cables. Could use a better dust filtration system on the bottom and side, on the bottom only the power supply gets one by default. If you put an LED fan or stirps on the front of the case the light will bleed out the side and bottom (the bottoms fine it looks like underglow but it shows poor craftsmanship coming out the side.

Other Thoughts: Put an old build in this case and combined it with a cooler master tx4 CPU cooler and the view through the window is fantastic. I did remove the extended HDD cage because it gives the GPU a lot more air. I really like this case and really like how it isn't oversized like many others with the same features. Make no mistake, it is a fairly big case that will fit most components.

1 out of 5 eggsDid this get any QA at all?

Pros: Good looks, enough fans, a lot of screws.

Cons: Only 3 of the motherboard standoff holes actually let me screw the standoffs into them, making it impossible for me to safely mount my motherboard. I've tried every standoff in every hole other, and none of them fit. Not to mention that one of the screw holes for my power supply doesn't line up either. I have no idea how this case passed any form of QA. It's completely unusable as is.

In addition, despite boasting "Clearance for top 240m dual radiators", my Corsair H90 didn't have enough clearance to fit below either fan without covering up a good half inch of my motherboard, also making it impossible for me to build in this case.

I attempted to contact NZXT online chat support to ask about these issues, and was told multiple times that "My issue was important to them" and that "Someone would be with me shortly" but despite waiting for nearly 4 hours, no one ever came.

I will never buy any NZXT product again, evidently they don't bother to actually check that their products are remotely functional before shipping them out the door.
