NZXT Phantom 410 CA-PH410-R1 Red Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Sexy as all out red color.
Plenty of space for video cards.
Covers up the 5.25 drives
Nice airflow
Ohhh...blue! :)

Cons: Front panel really needs to be pushed to close
Yeah, slight discoloration between the steel and the plastic
Rubber protectors for cable management feel a bit weak
No PC speaker connector?

Other Thoughts: That last con is a new one for me. Admittedly I haven't had to get a new tower for a good number of years so I don't know if newer towers don't come with a PC speaker connector. Still, it's a little uncomfortable not hearing the familiar "beep" when I turn on the computer. Is this common or did my case just not come with one?

Pros: - amazing air flow and fan placement
- color, finally something that isn't black or white!
- cable management huge + on this one plenty of places to run wires to be unseen
- hard to explain but lots of external space for mounting radiators outside the case itself but underneath the exterior panels without making it look too bulky

Cons: - the colors don't match 100% but there is nothing nzxt can do about it i don't think the plastic is molded with red resin and the steel is painted to match, the only way they would match 100% is if the plastic was also painted with the steel instead of molded red... but thats not a big deal
- the 3 step fan controller only has 7 connectors when the case supports 8 fans... it should have 8

Other Thoughts: wish it came with more black screws for fan mounting only came with screws to mount 2 120s in the front because those screws seem to be proprietary all other fans are mounted with normal fan screws... but who wants to go through finding and buying screws to match or painting screws they already have...

overall this case is awesome and i would recommend it to anyone.

i chose this case because it was red and i am painting the black parts gold and mounting an arc reactor in the side panel acrylic for an iron man theme...

NZXT staff if you happen to read this, great job with this case and you have gained a new customer for as long as you keep doing good work like this!

Pros: Great paint job, awesome wire grouting and great air flow

Cons: had a problem with the 140mm fan. it does not work, and i don't feel like paying an extra 15 dollars. i wish newegg or NZXT could send me another one.

Other Thoughts: still a great case overall, also i would wait until they have another sale got mine for 79.99. maybe that is why the did not work

Pros: Fantastic look. Plenty of large fan locations. Makes for a very quiet machine. Ample room for drives and card. Very good cable management. Looks fantastic with the NZXT Kraken water cooler's LED set to match the case color.

Cons: not a one...

Cons: =Very impossible to connect the CPU power, I had to unscrew the fan.

Other Thoughts: I honestly thought I would be giving this case a 5 egg review at the end of the day, but I guess not.

Pros: 1. Color- Everything today is black or blue. It's SO nice to have some color without having to custom paint or pay through the nose. 2. Value- for a mid tower, you can pack a lot of hardware in this case. 3. Fan controller- supports 8 FANS (up to 30 watts total) 4. Standoff socket!- I know it sounds trivial, but this is a first for me. NZXT had the foresight to include a socket that allows you to install the standoffs with a screwdriver! I have used cases from MANY manufacturers and NEVER has such a useful tool been included! 5. Build quality- The side panels come off EASILY (unlike on my Arc Midi which is a battle!). The paint is well done. The front and top panels come off easily and the wiring STAYS with the chassis. The 5.25" bay covers come off with flip of a clip.

Cons: 1. Drive trays- they aren't bad for what they are. But, they are a little flimsy. They do the job but don't really "click" in place like Cooler Master or Corsair's. I'm somewhat spoiled by Fractal Design's steel trays. 2. Molex- the fan controller requires a Molex power plug. My rig is all SATA with a modular PSU. I had to run an extra string of Molex just to power the fan controller. I would rather see a SATA plug so it could be tied into the HDD/SSD run. 3. Windowed panel- the side panel is good the way it is, but I would like to see a panel with all acrylic instead of half and half. Even if it was an optional panel. 4. LEDs- All of the LEDs in this case and the 140mm fan are BLUE. This is a RED case. I would much rather see white or red LEDs implemented. I know I listed several "cons", but NONE are a deal breaker.

Other Thoughts: I have used cases from Cooler Master, Antec, Aerocool, Fractal Design, Gigabyte, Chenbro, Corsair, HEC, and others. THIS is an awesome case! NZXT has won a new fan in me. On a side note. I mounted the Cooler Master Seidon 240M in this case. I wanted the radiator to be under the top cover with the fans below "stealth mode". Unfortunately the fill port on the radiator WILL NOT allow this. So I put the fans under the cover and the radiator under the roof of the case. This is NOT an NZXT problem. Just a warning to future buyers. I AM somewhat disappointed that the Kraken X60 won't fit this case without "modification", but nobody says what needs to be done. I really wanted the X60, but don't want to "mod" a brand new case to do so.

Pros: I love that this case comes with so many features especially the quick change hard drive bays they are amazing thumb screws are the bomb. The cable management is pretty good as well. The build quality beyond paint is superb.

Cons: The first thing and most glaring is the paint it is an atrocious miss matched case the steel is light red while the plastic is dark company's like Antec and Inwin have been doing color match for eons and yet I have a 3 tone case now black red and light red Boooooooo. The rubber grommets around the cable management holes are pretty sub par as well they fall out much to easy as they don't fit the holes size they are actually drastically smaller and make it harder to manage cables also if your power brick comes with too many Sata connecters there isn't enough room to store them and I had to take out hard drive bays to make room but that's not a huge deal.

Other Thoughts: Perty Good

Pros: 1 lots of fan slots
2 excellent display window
3 comes with more than a few fans one with leds
4 hard drive bays are so easy to use
5 plenty of air flow and excellent Clarence for future radiators

Cons: none so far and after 3 months red still looks good

Other Thoughts: if your looking for a case with extended atx compatibility there is a full tower

Pros: Very nice for the price.

Quality - Performance and keeps everything cool

Cons: Nothing bad to say about this thing, great product.

Cons: Since it is a mid tower case, putting things together can be a bit pack, but once you put things together, everything works fine!
