4 out of 5 eggsSolid First-Time Case

This review is from: NZXT Phantom 410 Series CA-PH410-W1 Black/White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: I bought this case for my first attempt at putting together a PC. I'm happy with my purchase. The case is sturdy, had enough space for my components, and I really like the look of it, especially the blue LED on the fans and the Power and HDD lights.

I'm also a fan of the CD drive bay door: I used to think they were silly, but now that we've moved past the age of needing physical disks to install OS's and drivers, I totally see the value. Plus, the DVD drive I bought is ugly and the door covers it up.

The fans, even when turned to High, are extremely quiet and from what I can tell are doing what they are supposed to. Between them and my aftermarket CPU cooler everything is staying well within the temperature range I want.

Also happy about being able to remove part of the HDD cage in order to facilitate a larger GPU. While the card I ended up getting didn't require me to remove it, it was helpful to temporarily remove it when I was routing cables.

Cons: The cons are kinda nitpicky and very minor, but, since I believe in giving all the information possible:

The lip of one of the side panels was bent inward around the hole where the screw goes in, resulting in the screw angling in instead of going directly through the panel and into the case. It wasn't a big deal, I simply took a pair of pliers and bent it back into shape. It's not perfect, and the screw is still at a slight angle, but it's quite functional and not noticeable unless it's pointed out. (No one is gonna be seeing the back of the computer anyway).

I also wasn't impressed with the toolless mounting for harddrives. While mounting a standard 3.5" HDD went fairly smoothly, you do, in fact, need a screwdriver to mount a 2.5" SSD. Just something of note.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat case, not perfect

This review is from: NZXT Phantom 410 Series CA-PH410-W1 Black/White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: The case is good looking
Sturdy
Plenty of room for any GPU
Goes well anywhere
Has 3 drive slots and a lot of HD slots

Cons: The front headphone plugs are a bit flimsy but not a deal breaker.
Some of the removable parts do not line up (the front and top) but case still looks goood.

Other Thoughts: If you like the way this case looks, buy it. You will not regret a thing.

5 out of 5 eggsI love this case!

This review is from: NZXT Phantom 410 Series CA-PH410-W1 Black/White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: -Fantastic airflow
-Easy access to components
-Plenty of room inside
-Easy to route cables
-PSU at bottom
-Looks like GLaDOS's head*

Cons: -Size

Other Thoughts: I have owned this case for about 2.5 years, and I absolutely love it. It's extremely sturdy and has plenty of space for even the beefiest of video cards. The ventilation is wonderful, and it's the only rig I've ever owned where I haven't had problems with overheating in the summer, which is very important as I live in a tiny room with no air conditioning. There's even space for a water cooling system, if you're so inclined. The only downside is that this box is pretty large - it's almost like a regular sized metal case with a big plastic shell around it. I have to keep mine on the floor because it's too big for my desk, but since it has top-mounted power buttons, headphone and mic jacks, and USB ports, this isn't really too much of a problem.

*seriously, it really does look like GLaDOS. I actually swapped the blue LED fan it came with for an amber one to complete the look. Even got the top panel of the case signed by Ellen McLain herself, who commented on the resemblance.

5 out of 5 eggsInsert Title

This review is from: NZXT Phantom 410 Series CA-PH410-W1 Black/White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Beautiful
Comes with 3 fans that are pretty quiet
The removable drive cage allows you to fit any graphics card.
The placement of holes and tie down points makes it easy to manage cables.
The back panel has a good amount of space for wiring.
All of the most used features of a case are held down by thumb screws.
The length of the front panel connectors are enough to reach my ATX form factor motherboard without too much leftover wire.
Great air flow.

Cons: The top of the case is slanted and the ports are on top. If you want to plug in a phone or other similar devices, you need to balance them or lean them on the connector itself.
The front panel door takes a small amount of effort to open and close.
Putting case badges on the front is awkward because of the slants.

Other Thoughts: This can be a pro or con depending on the person. The tool-less drive bays slide out from the back. This allows better cable management but makes them less accessible if you were working in the front of it. This is pretty minor and is based on the opinion of the owner.

5 out of 5 eggsBest case ever

This review is from: NZXT Phantom 410 Series CA-PH410-W1 Black/White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Love this NZXT Phantom 410 case. Plenty of room for a mid tower and very solid. Lots of room for cable management. It's perfect to use with white ASUS motherboard and white NZXT power supply. Include 3 fans that are very quiet. must remove front panel before removing top cover.

Cons: Need to drill a 4 holes to install NZXT Kraken x61 water cooler. The stock 140mm fan is BLUE LED instead of white LED.

Other Thoughts: Solid case and a great price.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Tower

This review is from: NZXT Phantom 410 Series CA-PH410-W1 Black/White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Lightweight, sexy appeal, fan locations, fan speed option. Just got this in and looking to build my pc. First impressions are good. . NZXT did it good on this and deserves the 5 EGGS! Don't pass on this tower. For the money you can't go wrong. Putting GTX 980 SLI, i74790k, and as of now there looks to be plenty of room.

Cons: After taking all the sides off its a little flimsy plastic top and front. I recommend taking the front off first then the top. I can see if someone is impatient they could possibly break a plastic bracket. But overall a very solid tower. Lots of room. It is a bigger mid tower, but it is also a little narrow so I think the mid comes from the width and not the height. It is taller than most mids but probably just as narrow

Other Thoughts: a solid 5 overall

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case

This review is from: NZXT Phantom 410 Series CA-PH410-W1 Black/White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: It was delivered in 2 days, it's very pretty, you can fit a lot inside, it's fairly cheap for how good it looks, and it looks like it has great ventilation.

Cons: There are a few scratches on the see-through window and a few manufacturing imperfections. They're not major enough to deduct any eggs.

Other Thoughts: The delivery person left it on the front porch, not hiding behind anything, and the case wasn't inside an unmarked cardboard box so anyone could see it was a computer case. Make sure you stay close to your door when it's due to deliver so it isn't stolen.

In case anyone wants to know, here are my specs:
Case: NZXT Phantom 410
Operating System: Windows 8.1
Motherboard: ASRock H97 Pro4
CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 Haswell Quadcore 3.2GHz
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16 GB
Graphics Card: SAPPHIRE Vapor-X Radeon R9 280X
SSD: Crucial MX200 2.5" 250GB SATA
HDD: Seagate Video 2TB SATA
DVD Drive: ASUS 24x DVD-RW
Power Supply: EVEA SuperNOVA NEX 650G

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

This review is from: NZXT Phantom 410 Series CA-PH410-W1 Black/White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: The case is beautiful, shipped without damage, the front panel is great and an optical drive is easy to install.
