4 out of 5 eggsgreat case!

This review is from: NZXT Phantom 410 Series CA-PH410-W1 Black/White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: - can be used with custom water cooling, fan cooling, AIO cooling
- great design, side insert bays
- the included fans are very quiet, and air flow is great
- included cables for extra fans if needed, doesn't really need splitters for mobo

Cons: - the top does not fit 36mm thick radiator, only fit 26mm or below
- interior case buttom has room for custom water cooling resevoir but if you have long graphics card, it will not fit

Other Thoughts: this is a very well designed case for several configurations of your choice, just be aware the top can only fit slim 240mm radiator with height 26mm or less

4 out of 5 eggsGreat product

This review is from: NZXT Phantom 410 Series CA-PH410-W1 Black/White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Lots of room for cable management removable drive cages plenty of places to place fans top radiator mount fits 120mm 140mm and up to 280mm rads easy to customize like changing led lights to red fan controller on top has three speeds and the fans that come with the case have no coil wine or very faint I can't hear it even at the highest speed

Cons: Side panel is pretty well made but the glass on the panel is another story sometimes when I pick it up it feels like I'm about to push the glass out
Grommets are easily pushed out really annoying while trying to route cables

Other Thoughts: This is the first computer case I have ever bought.

3 out of 5 eggsOverall pretty great case. Long fan screws too short.

This review is from: NZXT Phantom 410 Series CA-PH410-W1 Black/White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Sleek Design
3 pre-installed fans (1 w/ LEDs)
Plenty of room
Great cable management
Removable drive bay

Cons: The extra front fan screws provided are a tiny bit too short, such that they're unusable. I tried switching the provided NZXT 120mm fan from the back to the front, but the screws wouldn't reach through the fan into the screw holes. I removed one of the screws from the pre-installed front fan to compare and noticed that the 4 extra screws were just a couple millimeters shorter than the screws used to secure the pre-installed fan. That's worth a 2-egg knock off in my opinion, as it means I'll have to go to the hardware store and purchase new screws to replace the ones that were supposedly included.

One other minor issue is that the plastic is squeaky when the case is handled.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case

This review is from: NZXT Phantom 410 Series CA-PH410-W1 Black/White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Great to work with, no jagged edges, feels solid, looks really cool too

Cons: The fans seem to all get powered by one single power cable instead of plugging into the motherboard. This causes it to detect only one fan when calculating fan speed. Far from a serious issue in my mind and maybe I just need to buy cable converters so they would connect to the motherboard? If so it should be included with the case.

Other Thoughts: I've bought more expensive cases in the past and they were all overkill. This one is exactly what i was looking for.

5 out of 5 eggsNice!

This review is from: NZXT Phantom 410 Series CA-PH410-W1 Black/White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: All the room you'll ever need. Seems big for a mid case. I took the middle drive bay out to accommodate a future large video card, and most wires are already routed. Three fans with the switch at the top. Very quiet fans too, one in, two exhaust. I leave mine on full blast and i can hear everything in the house first, fans second.

Cons: Door opens the wrong way for me, but that's my fault. The 240 opens the other way

Other Thoughts: First case, hopefully last case. Looks like a stormtrooper. Really awesome, amazing case. Love it, can't even see it next to the white walls. Wife loves that haha

1 out of 5 eggsLong term use review - Yellows too easily

This review is from: NZXT Phantom 410 Series CA-PH410-W1 Black/White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: It looked great when I got it. I love the design. Lots of options for water cooling and fans.

Cons: I purchased this case in 2012. The case started turning yellow on the top after 2 years. Now 4 years later it's almost brown where a little bit of sunlight was coming through my window. The side panels don't go on smoothly and leave a little bit of gap on the back. First case shipment had deep, very noticable scratches in the front plastic. NZXT support was unresponsive to all attempts to contact them (I just needed a replacement front cover, rest of the case was fine). Thankfully Newegg allowed me to RMA the entire case.

Other Thoughts: I'm never buying another NZXT case. They look pretty, but don't have the build quality of similarly priced cases from companies like Corsair.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Case Overall

This review is from: NZXT Phantom 410 Series CA-PH410-W1 Black/White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: - Great Looking Case

- Can Install Lots of fans for great airflow

- Fan Controller is convenient and easy to use

- Fairly Customizable With the ability to remove some of the hardrive racks, have an internal fan for airflow which is particularly helpful for cooling crossfire/sli set ups provided the cards aren't to long

- Lots of space for many hardrives

- Good Price

Cons: - As many have said the door covering the drive bays is a bit finicky and flimsy but for most this isn't a big deal with as people use cd drives etc. so seldom.

- Had one of the front/top facing usb 3.0 plug break after trying to insert a plug into it the wrong way with barely any pressure which was kinda bizarre. This resulted in me having to unplug the front/top facing usb 3.0 ports from the mobo entirely as Windows wouldn't boot with it plugged in after that.

- The hard drive slide out mounts are kinda finicky, flimsy, and a pain to work with

- Not the greatest cutouts for cables if you are wanting to put a lot of things into this case, also while I'm not entirely sure if my psu manufacturer or NZXT is at fault here but I'm unable to run my xfx 750w psu cpu power cable behind the case as it has to run fairly far to get through the cable holes to get there. As a result I had to run it through the main part of the case resulting in an ugly cable being in the way of everything. Whoever with my evga 1200w psu this isn't an issue.

- The rubber insert that surrounds the cable holes pop out incredibly easily and are a bit of a pain to get back in, after a while I just pulled them out and stopped using them entirely

Other Thoughts: While I've had lots of little issues that result in the loss of an egg overall this is a great case. I'm kinda more prone to be annoyed by these little issues since I tinker with and swap out components a fair amount but this is an especially good case if you want a good looking reasonably priced case that has lots of harddrive space and can handle a moderate amount of other components. I currently have 2 ssds and 4 hdds in mine along with an evga 1200w psu two msi gtx 980tis in sli (I even have a fan in the internal fan slot blowing air through the middle of the cards although it is a VERY tight squeeze). I even have a Corsair H100i watercooler installed with the radiator installed between the top case cover and the top of the metal frame of the case. With all these components things definitely are starting to feel a little cramped with cable management options not being ideal, but honestly it's impressive that a case this size is capable of it. So overall I strongly recommend this case and will likely be a repeat NZXT customer.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome, but I'm picky.

This review is from: NZXT Phantom 410 Series CA-PH410-W1 Black/White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Cool looking case, quiet case fans, nice color match between plastic and steel, handy case fan speed controller, came with lots of extra screws, good room for cables, and easy to open side panels.

Cons: No fan led off switch on case, lacks dust filters, squeaky plastic on top, side panel goes horizontal, grommets accidentally slip off easily.

Other Thoughts: Overall, this case is really well made and is solid and it looks very good. It does have a few things I don't like about it but still well made. The plastic on the top of the case makes a creaking noise when u put pressure on it, not necessarily a higher pitch squeak but like a low creak. One other thing about the top is that there is this small slit near the front where light from an LED can easily get through. I think they may have interned for it to be like that but some parts look slightly closer and dims the light just a bit so it looks kinda like its not put on correctly. The thing that bothered me the most is are the case grommets (the rubber things that have flaps that you wire your cables through). The grommets accidentally slip off really easily, when i was cable managing my build i had like 3 of them slip out of place and slipping them back on is so annoying. All in all, I still think this case is pretty beast and is great for gaming builds that don't require too much customization.

In my opinion this case is pretty worth it if u want something that looks good and has pretty good compatibility. I would probably recommend this case to a friend but if you have the extra money, you might wanna spring for a better Phantom series cases if you like them as much as I do.
