4 out of 5 eggsRoomy, Cool, Secure

Pros: This case has some of the best cable routing and cutouts I have ever seen. It makes it flawless to have a professionally tidy PC with the options available. Plenty of room behind the motherboard to cable tie your loose cables (with many tie mounts) and the included fan power hub is a nice touch. I even have sound dampening foam there and still plenty of room for cables. The top vent is a nice touch and opening and closing is a nice little extra (though who would really ever close it lol) [see cons, other thoughts]. The paint on this case is rather decent quality because I have moved and scratched this thing against my desk and nary a scratch has shown up on it to show the underneath metal of the case. The front easily pops off to clean filters, change fans, etc. Hot swap bay is well integrated and I have my Samsung EVO 840 250GB SSD in it for my system. Bay covers pop in and out easily and stay connected. Drives stay in place with the included drive mount mechanism for 5.25 Drives and the hard drive securing mechanism is well thought out like that of CoolerMaster and Thermaltake.

Cons: Top vent cover mechanism is hard to open and close even when not attached. Dust filters work excellent but dust still gets in the pc (make sure you have your static pressure configured correctly). The case side panel (left panel when looking at front) is wicked hard to attach and remove almost like it is stuck at times. This could be something I have done with the front panel so not really much of a con but just something I have noticed. Can't use the Kraken system out the gate internally [see other thoughts]. Fan connection hub is stiff and looks a bit cheap compared to others I have seen even though it does work well.

Other Thoughts: NZXT sent me free a replacement top for the mounting of the Kraken Water Cooling system (or any thick radiator system that uses 280MM thick radiators and PWM FANS). That wasn't much of a con as I went with an EK custom built solution but something to note on the first production of these cases. Nothing but solid customer service from NZXT and Newegg. I swear we are truly blessed in this regards. My case keeps everything running nice and cool and dust really isn't a problem (even after 6 months) although you will have dust. This case is really moddable if that is your thing and can easily be stripped down to the bare essentials. Can't go wrong.

5 out of 5 eggsAMAZING case for the price

Pros: -Very spacious
-Modular drive cages
-Rubber grommets for great cable management
-Side window is sleek
-SO. MANY. FANS.
-So much room for radiators
-SD Card Reader
-

Cons: -Front intake is really choked since it's only one small corner but I knew this when I bought it so no egg taken off
-Top cover is made of plastic and feels like it'll break with wear and tear, but with the regards to the price, can't really take an egg off because of it

Other Thoughts: -Like I said in the cons, front intake is choked, but unless you plan on putting a rad there, I doubt it'll make a difference. Just something for NZXT to improve on.
-Would have been nice if the top cover was made of anything else other than plastic. It just feels like over time of using it, it would break.

Overall- This is an amazing case with all these features for the price. NZXT really knows how to make great cases as I've used most of their cases when helping a friend or family member with their build. NZXT really shows that aesthetics can be great without sacrificing function.

3 out of 5 eggsFantastic case! Horrible support across the board.

Pros: Great case! Lots of room for water cooling, bunches of cable management options, and nearly fully modular! Can't wait to water cool mine.

Cons: Here is where I have issues. I received the case from newegg briefly after ordering it, open up the box and lo and behold there was a black case instead of a white one. Nzxt is know for having quality control issues, so that didn't bother me much. I made a call to newegg to start the RMA process, and after talking to someone on the phone for a few minutes the woman informed me that she was going to run it as a return because she could guarantee the next one would be white...? Why couldn't the warehouse check the stock they had to make sure that all the boxes were labeled correctly? I will be ordering another hopefully it will be white, although it is ridiculous that they couldn't check the box before mailing it.

Other Thoughts: #pcmasterrace

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent!

Pros: Nice sturdy steel case. Big enough for extensive water cooling. Recipient of critical accolades. Nearly the entire case is held together with screws rather than the traditional pop-rivets. For case modders this is a great thing for repainting with minimal teardown.

Cons: Few if any. Would be a nice change if the 3 5" front expansion bays were also removable with screws. Riveting these to the front and motherboard tray gives the case extra rigidity when the top panel us removed though, so I see the rationale.

1 out of 5 eggsNZXT Switch 810 (White)

Pros: Lots of room and good air flow. Sleek looking design.

Cons: At first I was all about this case when I ordered it nearly a year ago. I have always gone with completely black cases so this was a first all-white build. Even though I had not purchased my remaining pieces for my build the reviews sold it for me and I had to have it. It had sat in its box until about a week ago when I finally decided to finish purchasing the last pieces to my build. Following the completion of installing all of my parts I decided to call it a night before trying to power the system up. I put on the windowed side panel and went to lock the thumbscrew in and heard a snap. The thumbscrew locking mechanism on the inside of the case snapped and was now useless. It is made out of cheap plastic and a tiny spring. You think something like this would be made out of a little bit more durable material. It was late so I decided to look at it the next day. When I went to make some changes on my cable management I decided to take off the back side panel. I went to unlock the panel with the thumbscrew lock and boom, another broken locking mechanism now useless. I am a pretty strong guy but I was in no means abusing the thumbscrew or trying to Hulk the thing open. Finally after getting everything looking to my satisfaction I went to power on my system. It booted and was about to POST then sadly, system shuts back down. I have an Asus Z87-pro motherboard and a nice feature is an error code that displays when something is wrong. The codes switch through so fast and didn’t stay on long enough to get a definite reading or answer. I began slowly pulling out one cable at a time and repeated the booting process to try and determine what the cause was. At first I thought it was a motherboard or PSU issue. After hours of troubleshooting this way and hundreds of reboots it came down to the front Power Switch cable of the NZXT Switch 810 case. I thought I was making a noob mistake with how I had the cables on, but that was not the case. The system boots fine when the PWR SW cable is not attached to the motherboard. I thought there was a short in it somewhere or wires exposed so I followed it all the way along back up to the top where it’s located and found no wires exposed. I decided to take the entire front and top of the case off to get to the power switch button and see what was going on. Upon pulling off the plastic box that holds the power button you can see the cheap workmanship underneath. Poor attempt at hot gluing the clips to the power button to hold it in place which also broke and were now useless. Upon pulling the power mechanism up with a pair of plyers and booting the system it would POST fine. What was happening was when the power button was pushed the switch inside was not releasing so the system would power back down because the power button had not released. Now I've been building computers for years and I currently work as an IT Specialist. This has been hands down the worst building experience I have ever had....Continued below

Other Thoughts: I thought the plastic/steel hybrid tower would be a good idea to cut down on the weight, but boy was I dead wrong. The power button works maybe 25% of the time so I am forced to turn my machine on with the power-button Asus was so friendly to add on the motherboard. I shouldn’t have to take off my side panel every time to boot my system and with the broken thumbscrew mechanism it makes this task a nightmare. I’m just waiting for the top ”Hybrid Fins” to break next so I will most likely keep these closed for good in order to keep dust out, but that takes a hit on the airflow. Opening and closing those fins at the top requires a bit of pressure and I can only imagine this PLASTIC locking mechanism will snap next. I will never purchase a plastic/steel hybrid tower ever again. The troubles and wasted time I have had on this case outweigh any pro’s it has. I guess these good reviews were by the lucky ones who managed to get a tower with good workmanship seeing how I was not included in that bunch. I will be contacting NZXT support to see if they can make this right at all, but after reading how some have had trouble getting answers from them it’s not looking to good.

5 out of 5 eggsThe White Angel Of Your Dreams!

Pros: Sweet Carols Are sung about this Case

- This thing is a full tower so expect it to be quite tall and measure where you are placing this bad boy.
- Its white
- Lots of dust filters on this case ( total of 4 filters )
- If you want to water cool I'm pretty sure you are going to have the room for it with all this space. ( Don"t really water cool )
- The cable management is overall great with this case. Can pretty much hide anything in it.
- Comes with a free hot swap-able bay ( which I missed on the overview of the case )
- Big fan of the CPU cutout on the back plate for when I do intend to put a corsair CPU water cooler on since you will have to put a plate on the back to make it work
- Now I know not having a fan controller with this case could be a con but come on guys... Really really just buy one
- I love the white leds on the back of the I/O plate makes it look very nice!

Cons: Now for the bad news

- When hiding cables the back panel seems like it needs another 1/2 a inch to fit everything well. ( Just a preference I would like to have, still can fit everything nicely )
- The hard drive bays are a little wonky and a little to remove, but if you just pull them out like 20-30 times they should good
- Might have to get some longer power cables if you want it to look really nice!
-Not a fan of the no hinge design front door. Coming from one with it I'm just not a fan of it. But I like seeing all my expensive components in the giant window of the case.
- I get that the fan in the case by the hard drive bay is to control air flow, but I don't like it one bit. I actually removed the fan a re purposed it to the top to have a pull config ( for the time being until the CPU water cooler. Then ill probably but it in the front.
- One thing to note as others have as well is the screws for your PCI cards. As said they are a little hard to put in and honestly if you can find replacements then do it cause they really do not screw in well.

Other Thoughts: I really wanted a high quality white case to match my 2 ASUS VX238H-W monitors and this won the fight of the others.

Even though I listed a lot of cons this is more of a bring to your attention kind of cons then actually bad. Since overall this case is the best I've owned to date ( not the best I have worked on, but that was a $400 dollar case so it had better been a case made out of marble )

I would also like to note that getting the NZXT power supply deal during the Christmas time saved me as much as a power supply that would not have match to this case at a great price and seems to be the only white power supply I have found.

Happy Case shopping Folks!
P.S. Buy this case.

5 out of 5 eggsAbsolutely Fantastic

Pros: The case came in very sturdy packaging which was reassuring for the price. Once out of the box I found this mammoth case to be just as gorgeous as expected. It comes with virtually everything you need in a case and the extra built-ins such as the sd card reader rear panel I/O LED and 7 fan fan hub. Building in it is a breeze and there's plenty of room for anything you'd want to throw in there. Another thing I'd like to note is the upgrading potential in this case is excellent because of the very future proof design and massive building space.

Cons: There's barely any cons to this case at all but there's a couple of details I thought could use improvement. The case includes 4 140mm fans that work very well but are a little on the loud side. This disappoints me slightly because for such a high end case I'd like to have a little higher quality fans to come along with it. My other only con is the space on the right side panel is a little narrow for routing cables. There's more than enough grommets and tie down points but I would like a little more meat to the lip on such a large case. Keep in mind these cons are very minuscule.

4 out of 5 eggsReally nice case

Pros: White, looks elegant
Very spacious
Looks sleek
Functional
Room for 2 radiators, 3 or more with case modding

Cons: White, shows every scratch, dent, and ding
Included screws are way too tight and strip super easily
My case came with glue (from stickers maybe?) stuck in various spots
Plastic easily scratchable

Other Thoughts: I really like this case. It's everything I need, everything I want and then some. It fits perfectly with my next build (Black/white) and has more than enough room for my two EK rads.

The included air filters, hot-swap bay, SD card reader, fan hub, 140mm fans, etc. are great. This case has too many features to list, watch the video.

However, the screws NZXT uses are awful. That combined with over-tightening (the front fan on my case was so tight the corners were bent) makes it super easy to strip screws if you're not really careful. While removing the extra HDD bays to make room for rads I stripped 6 screws and a process that should have taken ten minutes took an hour.

Also, there was mysterious glue in random spots on my case. It feels like residue from a sticker, I'm not exactly sure where it came from though. I was able to get all of it off except for the glue on the front fan cover, I already contacted NZXT and I'm awaiting their response. I hope they will replace it.

Lastly, the plastic scratches very easily, so be careful. The white paint will also come off if you scratch it with a screwdriver or anything, although that's obvious you must be careful when installing anything.

Don't let these cons dissuade you, though. They are relatively minor, I'm just nitpicking because that's the way I am. I highly recommend this case, although maybe in gray or black so the scratching isn't as apparent.
