NZXT Phantom 410 CA-PH410-W2 White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Blue Trim Computer Case

Pros: Great styling and looks
Cable management
Lots of space
Buttons and inputs on top

Cons: Front bay cover doesn't open or close too well
HDD was a little difficult to install

Other Thoughts: For my first build this case was almost perfect. The only thing I had trouble with was install the hdd through the mounting system but nothing major.
Another little thing was the front bay cover that would not latch on when I tried to close it but I hardly ever use so it doesn't bother me that much.

Pros: The fit of the panels, accessories, fans, switches, show that they really care about the products they make. Everything fits and works without issue. The seams all line up perfectly, the fans flow tons of air and are whisper quiet. Everything lines up for mounting, even my SSD. Beautiful finish! Great design!

Cons: The world is not perfect and so (saying that) I would mention that the power switch has the possibility to stick if you do not push straight down on it. This does not prevent it from working however. Also the thumb screws are rather tight and require a screwdriver for initial use. At least they did not fall out! I would prefer that they stay in place rather than fall out and get stuck somewhere in the case.

Other Thoughts: The nicest $100.00 case on the market and the only other case I would consider would be another NZXT. I have not had the occasion to contact NZXT customer service and so cannot comment on that, but the quality of the product really impressed me and was one reason I bought an IBuyPower computer from New Egg.

Pros: None (FOR TECH SUPPORT CALL 800 number, not 626 number)

Cons: So after 4 and a half more months of calling i FINALLY received a replacemnt power button assembly... and it does not work. I borrowed a friends case and hooked all my parts into that to test the computer and it works fine.

THIS IS NOW 5 MONTHS THAT I AM WITHOUT A PC as a computer science major. I have called in 10 to 20 times and talked to someone who said they would fix this problem for me or send me a new poer button assembly.

Took almost 20 calls over 5 months to get a replacement part that was DOE.

NEVER BUY NZXT CASES!!
The company doesnt care about you the customer at all. None of the replacement parts are tested before being sent out, They will REPEATEDLY LIE to your face about trying to help you.

WORST COMPANY EVER, I wish i could give a negative score

Pros: Great looking case. Easy to build into.

Cons: Absolutely not support from NZXT for a rather trivial stuck switch problem. I've submitted tickets on their website and never received a response. Last month I called their tech support team ans spoke to someone who was familiar with the problem and promised to send me a replacement part. It's been over 6 weeks and I have not received anything else from NZXT, neither the replacement part nor an email confirmation.

Now I've been trying to follow up with a phone call to find out what's going on, and the tech support line is constantly busy - can't get through. I've tried to email them - not response. I've tried to call their 'headquarter' number in California, they have a message that says they're closed for the day and to call back duing business hours. (It was 4pm).


This is absolutely the worst customer support experience I've ever had. It is the last time I will buy anything from NZXT and I will encourage any others to steer clear from them in the future.

I am considering returning the case to NewEgg, though that is a major PITA.

Pros: In theory this is a great case. Easy to build into, lots of good cable management. etc. etc.

Cons: The freaking power button almost always sticks in the down position! I've contacted NZXT and left several messages, they have not responded with any solutions. This is a SERIOUS problem because the machine will turn on and off several times before I can manage to yank off the front and top panels so I can un-stick the button. By then, for some reason I don't understand, my motherboard's BIOS is corrupted and must restore itself from the backup/failsafe BIOS. Not cool, since I then have to re-download any BIOS updates.

Other Thoughts: I realize the BIOS issue is not necessarily NZXT's fault -- something is wonky with the motherboard. But seriously, they should tell me how to fix this or else send me a working case. It is INEXCUSABLE that they have yet to respond to my technical support request. I filed it on November 29th and I've sent pings regularly. It has now been almost 3 weeks?? It was assigned someone named "Ryan C". Not even a peep from the dude, I doubt he exists.

Pros: It looks awesome from the outside.

Cons: Hard drive bay bolts were popping out of the rack, making me switch out many trying to figure out the "good" rack. The rubber gromits would a get taken off the case completely. Also, the power supply mounting holes were not lined up correctly, so I had to only screw three screws into the PSU.

Other Thoughts: Other than those, and this case would be amazing. Those are stupid mistakes that they could fix easily if they tried.

Pros: -Quality
-Great looking
-Plenty of room
-Great Air Flow

Cons: NO CONS!

Other Thoughts: Great product all around, someday in the future I will upgrade to the Phantom 820 but still keep this case.

Pros: -Very sleek case.
-Included fan controller is very useful.
-Mounting 5.5 inch drives was really easy, and are very stable/secure.
-Plenty of fan mounts. (6 on the case, 1 on the removable HDD rack)
-The cables for the fan controller and USB/audio ports are long, allowing for very good cable management.

Cons: -Thumb screws were overtightened, and needed a screwdriver to loosen them. (Just a minor inconvenience)
-Mounting HDDs was very difficult.
-The front door is rather annoying. The latching mechanism will either not open properly, or fail to close.

Pros: Great case, has plenty of room easy to use. Nice sized, aesthetically pleasing.

Best Customer Support out of any case company.

Cons: Only problem I had with it was the front panel power button stopped working. Called NZXT and they then shipped a new one free of charge no questions asked. Every other case i've owned from other companies they refuse to send non working parts and either make you ship it back and pay for massive repairs or just refuse to help.

Other Thoughts: The customer support for NZXT is nothing next to amazing. Making great cases, with unparalleled customer support.

NZXT cases are the ONLY cases i'll buy. other companies will laugh and say looks like its time for a new case. Not NZXT.

Pros: So the case looks amazing. Fantastic design, comes with three fans and has lots of space for a Mid Tower. It's even got an area designated for a radiator for those times you want liquid cooling. It even comes in white (my personal favorite). I've had both ATX and MATX boards in it with plenty of room for a large PSU and all my other toys.

Cons: Aesthetics aside this case had some minor, quirks. The thumb screws are incredible tight, or the wrong size or something because i had to get a screwdriver with some serious girth to get them loose and even to tighten them. Also, I managed to know the top off by bumping it with my elbow, thought it shoulda been held on better than that. Also, the biggest pain that Ive read and completely agree on is the front door, once you realize how it works, its usable but it doesn't just close, you have to put a good amount of pressure directly over the arrow on the door to get it to latch properly or it looks like a car door with the belt closed in it.

Other Thoughts: Overall I do like the case and these minor things haven't ruined it for me. I wish I would have looked at cases more and gone with something else but for the price a plastic/steel case with as much room as this has has been very nice for changing to larger components such as a full-sized graphics card. I think the problems with it were just laziness on the part of NZXT but overall the case is nice, just, a few design flaws.
