4 out of 5 eggsNice for the price

Pros: It looks great, although not as good as its white counterpart. This was on sale though for 39.99 after rebate, so I got it at a great price. This case is heavier than I expected, but it's a nice, solid feel. It has that modern NZXT look and is pretty glossy. It's great that one of the HDD cages is removable. Quite some room for components and what not. The two included fans are of pretty nice quality.

Cons: Its glossiness attracts fingerprints and dust very quickly. As a pet owner, this sucks. There's not much room for cables in the back, so the back panel was pretty hard to get back on after installing everything. The HDD racks are a bit flimsy and a few fell out the first time I tilted the case back. This is a problem for 2.5 inch drives but not so much for the 3.5 inch ones. The USB 3.0 cable for the front ports is a dual cable, meaning it has a larger end. I can't use it because my motherboard has separated USB 3.0 ports on it that require 2 separate 10-pin connectors. Also, I can't seem to find the system speaker or cable for it, so diagnosing boot issues will be a challenge.

Other Thoughts: A great case for the price, but the white one looks better. Lots of room inside but not much on the back side. If you can, go with a Fractal r4 or an H440 for a similar aesthetic but much higher quality.

4 out of 5 eggsGood value but stock cooling is poor

Pros: Good Cable Managemnt
High feet keep it elevated off the ground
Good build quality and doesn't feel cheap
Good value
Included dust filters
Easy to work inside of

Cons: Included fans are loud and don't move enough air
Hard drive trays are flimsy
Does not dampen noise as much as expected
Only one usable exhaust mount
Side panels are easy to remove but can be annoying to re-attach
Only supports 120mm fans.

Other Thoughts: I think if you can replace all of the stock fans with quieter fans that move more air this can be an excellent case

I recommend the 120mm Cooler Master Sickleflows as replacement fans, they are not too expensive, are quiet, and move a lot of air.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect!

Pros: Great Case! Very neat, pretty good cable management and very convenient! Comes with a lot of screws and two good fans! 4 months of use and not disappointed!

Cons: Airflow isn't the best but still ok for me.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Case!

Pros: Nice looking case, fairly solid construction for the most part. Manages to keep cool despite what some reviews say, though I would recommend getting an after market cooler. I've heard that the cooler master evo 212 just barely fits, so I went with the thermalright true spirit BW rev A, which I believe was a solid choice. My CPU/GPU temps idle around 28 c.

Cons: Don't have too many bad things to say, except that the included fans aren't that quiet. If you really want quiet operation you'll need to pick your other components carefully. Also, my case did not come with extra screws for installing another front intake fan, which I thought was a bit odd and inconvenient.

Other Thoughts: I bought this case mostly for looks and a couple of nicer features for the price point, and it hasn't disappointed.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat case overall though i would buy the white version

Pros: This is a great case overall. Sleek looks, front panel, everything you can ask for. in a mid tower case. Can take off the middle storage shelve to add extra room within the case for cables, or even a longer length GPU. In this price range not alot of cases have this feature.

Cons: The bracket for the hard drive sucks untill you put a hard drive in. If you don't have a hard drive in them they slip and fall so expect to hear some clank noise if you decide to leave the brackets in there. If you have a hard drive just put it in and it snaps into the case securing it. Also i hate how fingerprints are attracted to the case making it loose its beauty ounce your fingers are on it. Also 2 of my motherboard standoff were "broken", where the standoff would not go fully in but its ok. Not a big deal to RMA.

Other Thoughts: Great case. If you don't like the figerprints then i advise you to look at the white version of this case. I HEARD that the white doesnt attract fingerprints. Maybe it does but idk. In my opinion the noise damping doesn't work in my opinion but still the contents of the case is great.

4 out of 5 eggsNZXT H230

Pros: Overall the H230 is well worth the money. It looks good no matter where you end up putting it in the house and is extremely easy to build in. The outside comes in a glossy black finish making it shine in a very exasperating way. The side panels come with noise reducing foam on the inside which is decently thick and durable if you don't try to pull it off, they are also very durable and have almost no flex whatsoever and considering how light the case is I'm very impressed. The modular drive bays are very nice to work with and come with noise reducing rubber where the disk drive lays as well as where the drive bay sits in the cage. Cable management is very acceptable with the holes being rolled over so you don't cut the cables on anything as well as all front panel connectors are painted black to improve the look of the case. The top 3.5 inch drive bay is completely removable for more graphics card clearance or more air flow to the graphics card.

Cons: With so many pros, come a few cons. While the glossy finish does make the case look very nice, it loses a bit of it's beauty once layered with finger prints over and over again. The reset button looks the same as the power button in size as well as shape, the only difference being a symbol on top of the buttons making it extremely easy to accidentally press. While the top 3.5 inch drive cage is removable, the bottom is not which is extremely saddening to me considering I can't afford any more fans out of the box but wanted to increase more direct airflow to the motherboard since I am using an AMD APU. As far as I know there is no easy way to access the one 120mm fan in the front and this made me wonder why not?

Other Thoughts: Overall this is a great budget case for the features it brings to the table as well as the price. If I could change three things it would be the glossy finish, the semi modular drive bay, and the reset button. While these are things I would benefit from, it's still only my opinion and won't affect everyone out there.

4 out of 5 eggsVery nice if you replace the fans

Pros: Very nice, minimalist case without trying to get fancy with colored or flashing LEDs. Good size. Good cable management. Nice front/top placement of headphone/mic jacks and usb ports.

Cons: Too loud with the included case fans. I ended up replacing the two included case fans with three sleeve bearing fans from Cooler Master (filling in the second, empty front fan spot) and added three additional hard drives (I now have a total of five drives) and it actually got a lot quieter, even with one more fan and three more drives than I had before. I would recommend replacing the included case fans if you buy this case.

2 out of 5 eggsBroken on arrival

Pros: Looks nice and simplistic.

Cons: Out of the packaging the front door was broken and not latched at the top right. It was packed very well so I know this wasn't broken during shipment. Also the screws that came with the case weren't log enough for the brackets supplied.

Other Thoughts: I would expect more from such a big name, but I didn't find this stuff bad enough to send the case back. It's an annoyance I will live with, because time is money. I was met with overall disappointment and will not buy another NZXT case.

5 out of 5 eggsVery high quality

Pros: Fantastic case, high build quality and looks great. I like the gloss finish all around. Very quite case and I don't notice the buttons on top being easy to push. They are just right.

Cons: The brackets for the drives are flimsy but it worked great for me, installed a standard HDD and an SSD. No problems holding them in.

4 out of 5 eggsReally nice case, but awful HD tray brackets

Pros: Construction, design, appearance, accessories, and easy to work with.

Cons: The hard drive tray brackets are terrible. When I lean the case over to the side, half of the 6 drive brackets fall out of the case on their own. They are flimsy and warped to the point they dont latch when slid into cage. This case would be better off if you could just mount the drives directly to the cage

Other Thoughts: Most of hard drive cage brackets are warped. 3 of the hard drive trays are unusable, 1 will barely stay latched, and 2 seem to be ok though still flimsy. I only need 2, but am worried that they wont keep drives secure. Contacting NZXT to see if they'll send replacements. Its too bad becuase the rest of the case is pretty nice for the money. I'm not sure how well the case keeps cool given minimal venting. I debated between 3 and 4 stars, but am waiting to see how well NZXT deals with the issue and how well the case cools. Will report back later.
