5 out of 5 eggsAmazing tower!

This review is from: NZXT Phantom 630 Windowed Edition Gunmetal Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: -large amount of internal space
-200mm fans and even back 140mm are so quiet
-lots of customization opportunity
-love the SSD mounts behind the mobo

Cons: -HUGE / which really isn't a con.. also consider I just came from a Fractal Design ARC Mid tower. Had to make some room for this bad boy, but totally worth it.

Other Thoughts: -I have been building rigs for myself and others for about 5 years now, and this is by far the best case for the money I have come by. I highly recommend considering this for any full tower build.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome case!

This review is from: NZXT Phantom 630 Windowed Edition Gunmetal Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: -Sleek Look
-Tons of room
-Modular drive bays
-Can adapt to almost any set up.

Cons: -None

Other Thoughts: This thing is massive. At one time I had a 240mm radiator for my CPU on the top, and a 280mm radiator on the bottom. 8 fans total and still a ton of room. There's a huge amount of space on the back side for cable management. You could easily run 4-way SLI if you're that crazy and still have room for activities.

5 out of 5 eggsSits there, holds my computer

This review is from: NZXT Phantom 630 Windowed Edition Gunmetal Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: I've had this case for about 5 years now. So far, it's failed to get up and run away with my components, which really is all I ask of a case. Well, that and:
-Very quiet case
-Adjustable brightness of lighting
-Adjustable fan speeds

Cons: The only thing I didn't care for was the solid black interior, it made building originally a bit harder. The white version of the case that I helped build was much easier to read in general. No point loss of course... it's your choice to build whatever color you want :)

Other Thoughts: Would certainly recommend this case.

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: NZXT Phantom 630 Windowed Edition Gunmetal Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: This case got my attention for my new build because of the overall design and color. Really like the fans that came with it. Plenty of room inside to work on it. The color on it came real good, not a cheap paint job for sure. I especially like the ssd card mounts which are located behind the motherboard mount. The led lights on the top of the case by the fan controller are a nice little touch. Cable management part of it is a nice touch also, I see some people complaining but for the price can't ask for much more. Fans run quiet at the highest fan speed, and at the medium to low I can
Barely hear the fans.

Cons: There's room on the top for (2) 200mm fans but the case only came with 1. Be nice if that fan was included.

Other Thoughts: Below the top fan I was able to mount my corsair h100i gtx cpu cooling system under with still plenty of room. Bravo to the designers for making that possible.

4 out of 5 eggsfans could not be saved

This review is from: NZXT Phantom 630 Windowed Edition Gunmetal Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: i was kind of disappointed that i never got to save any of the fans from this case that i wanted and when i tried to cut off the ties from the back that my fans cables got cut as well where i had lost my 2 top 200mm fans while losing my front one and then my 140 since i found they could not be reused since i know this wasn't my fault for them being over tighten by nzxt since it's the only thing i had a problem with since everything else is great

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: really love this case if nzxt would only pay attention to how they over tighten stuff or i would of lost my fans over them

4 out of 5 eggsLove this case

This review is from: NZXT Phantom 630 Windowed Edition Gunmetal Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: Large and lots of room
Great cable management
Nice big quiet fans
plenty of HDD space

Cons: Could have done with a couple more through holes for cable management in the top of the case but there is still space to pull wires through if they are not too thick.
Side panel is kind of loose it doesn't bother me much because I only notice it is I am touching the case

Other Thoughts: I love this case the color is nice it is nice and sturdy unless you count the door but I am sure if it bothers you you can jam something in there. A must buy if you want a decent size case and are thinking of adding water cooling as far as I am concerned.

5 out of 5 eggsTONS OF ROOM!

This review is from: NZXT Phantom 630 Windowed Edition Gunmetal Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: I purchased this case for my newest build. It had great reviews so I took a chance. This was my first NZXT case and I was not disappointed. There is crazy amounts of room for any hardware, as well as great cable management potential. The included 200mm fans are super quiet, although I will be removing the top one in lieu of two Corsair 120mm fans. That is just to have the red trim fans to fit the color theme of my build. In all, I would purchase this case again and would recommend it to anyone.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I would like to see NZXT include a second 200mm fan in the top, seeing as there is room for two.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat, Large Case

This review is from: NZXT Phantom 630 Windowed Edition Gunmetal Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: This is a huge, well built case with tons of room for cable management and ample fan mounts.

One of my personal favorite features is the two SSD mounts on the back of the motherboard plate and the modular, removable HDD bays. This means in a setup like mine with 2 SSDs and only 1 HDD, you can move those bays out of the way for massive airflow.

Also, this case is almost certain to fit any graphics card combination you can come up with.

There is quite a lot of cable management space behind the motherboard plate to easily hide cables.

Finally, this case has several dust filters which is critical if you live in a house with multiple pets like I do.

Cons: Well, first of all, this case is huge and heavy. I consider that a pro, because as a first time builder I wanted a lot of space and a very durable case, but some might find it unwieldy.

Secondly, the top and front panels of this case are removable (which is great), but it takes a somewhat uncomfortable amount of force to remove them. I haven't broken either panel yet (good build quality and all), but I am always afraid that I will.

To clean the dust filter in the front of the case you have to remove the front panel, which you cannot do without removing any disk drives, which is a slight inconvenience.

Finally, the case is a little bit pricey compared to what else is on the market.

Other Thoughts: This was the perfect case for my build. If you are using 2 SSDs and only a few hard drives, if you are an inexperienced builder that wants a lot of room to play with, or if you want massive air cooling through a ton of large fans, this case will serve you very well.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Case

This review is from: NZXT Phantom 630 Windowed Edition Gunmetal Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: - Mostly metal
- Removable hard drive bays
- mounting for SSD's on rear of motherboard tray
- Space
- Price (on sale)
- Good amount of front panel connections
- Filters for fans

Cons: Clearance at the top of the case could be better, it could cause problems depending on how you are cooling your system

Additionally, the length of the case could also cause some problems.

Other Thoughts: The cons reflect the fact that the system I built was liquid cooled and that I ran into radiator problems.

On the top of the case a 45mm 360 radiator will take up the top 5 inch bay. And depending on your motherboard, you might not even be able to fit all of your fans onto a radiator that size (which was the problem I ended up running into, simply not enough clearance between the top of the motherboard tray and the top of the case). There is little you can do about this sense there isn't enough room to put the radiator where the top 200mm fans would go (part of that is because of the front panel USB and switches, the other part has to do with height clearance).

I ended up getting a 30mm 360 radiator and that fits nicely and I can have the fans setup in push-pull with no issues.

On the bottom of the case you may run into length issues if you liquid cool. The space between the power supply and a radiator can be tight. I am running an EVGA g2 850 and there is just enough room to get everything connected with the radiator in there. If you have a PSU over 7 inches long, you are probably in for trouble. The system I built had a 65mm 240 radiator on the bottom, and it is a tight fit, with basically no wiggle room once the radiator was secured to the case.

All in all I think that this is a great case, and if you are air cooling you won't have any problems. If you are liquid cooling, it does have a few areas that need improvement, but it is still a good case overall.
