5 out of 5 eggsNzxt 530 case

Pros: Gloss finish, 3 filters, fan hub, roomy, 280mm liquid cooler fitment, clear door/fan in door, lots of places for fans, 140 mm fan option, fan controller

Cons: Power/reset switch, fan controller, front panel door, flimsy hdd trays

Other Thoughts: I purchased this to replace my Enermax Ostrog gt because the Ostrog wasn't able to fit my Corsair H110 even though it was advertised as being able to, OK well yeah it would of fit if I mounted the fans on the outside of the case, but I really didn't want to do that and I also wanted to be able to mount 2 additional fans to set up as a push/pull configuration. After debating between, corsair 760t(too much),corsair 750d, Phanteks Enthoo Pro, Nzxt 630 for about a month I decided to give this a try, I chose this case ease as it was on sale as a refurbished item (which made me hesitate) but I am very happy with my purchase. I would of bought this sooner but it wasn't clear this would fit a 280mm cooler in a push/pull configuration, well it does, it took just a wee bit of modification but it fits and it also had room for 4 additional 140mm, and 2 120mm fans. plus this has a fan hub, and while it doesn't control all the other fans as pwm(like Phanteks) it's still nice to have. Also I chose this case as I didn't want a huge case, and while this case is just a bit bigger than my Enermax case it has so much more room and doesn't take up an overly excessive amount of space. The gloss finish is nice and even extends to the inside as well, the case is well made and it shows, with filters for the power supply, the 2 additional fans(bottom) and one for the front. It also has lights for the rear connections and while it's nice it was not a decision factor. I like the front panel door but it is annoying at times I wish there was an option for without it, but it wasn't a deal breaker, now for my gripes they are minor and while they'd probably be worth an egg the ability to mount my h110 gave it the egg (and more) back. The hdd trays are flimsy and while they do the job the release tabs get in the way of routingwires, the power/reset switch feels weak, and are not in the same spot, there is 2 usb ports near the front (actually on top) and no usb 2.0 ports at all, the fan controller is nice but feels like it would or will break, and lacks a filter for the side panel fan. Now for wishes, I wish it would have more visible 2.5 drive mounting, and I wish the fan hub would be like the Phanteks and be pwm. Overall this case is a great buy it's overall quality is well thought out and really does show the "designed by gamers" approach. The price even if it wasn't a refurb is still a deal the gloss finish is great and matches well with my purple corsair fans and for the little gripes That is just what they are. I give the case and Nzxt 5 eggs it's a great case!

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent case

Pros: I never saw this anywhere, so I'm going to say it right now: YES, this case has space to hold TWO radiators at the same time - a 360mm radiator on the top and a 240mm radiator on the bottom/in the front. YES you will have to remove at least one HDD cage, but that shouldn't be much of a problem since there is a 1 drive cage, a 2 drive cage, and a 3 drive cage PLUS an SSD slot. Drive insertion is completely toolless except for the SSD slot. My rig currently has 2 R9 290 cards on a full-size ATX motherboard. The case holds everything perfectly with plenty of room to spare. Overall, this is an excellent case with lots of cooling potential. I r8 it 8/8.

Cons: The only problem I had with this case was that it was supposed to have 9 motherboard mounts pre-installed, but mine came with 0. I guess that's what I get for buying a refurbished case.

Other Thoughts: I do not recommend using the SSD slot for a drive you want to move around a lot because it is hard to put the drive in and then nigh impossible to take it out without dropping your SSD. If you want it permanently mounted, go right ahead.
