4 out of 5 eggsOk for budget build.

Pros: Nice design. Feels well built. Price was great at the time of purchase.

Cons: Fan is very noisy. Still haven't gotten over it after a couple of months of ownership. Not sure if all are like that or if it's just mine. Worth deducting an egg just for the inconvenience it causes to either remove/replace fan or to try and ignore it.

Other Thoughts: Not to bad for my first case.

5 out of 5 eggsWe need Blackbone II

Pros: I love this design. Four USB ports - Thank you! Case was great to work with and air flow rocks!

Cons: Patiently waiting for an upgraded model with USB 3.0 ports. How about two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ? Or better yet All 3.0 - they are backwards compatible.

Other Thoughts: Rosewill makes/sells whisper quiet fans. Sell a higher priced case with those in it. Saves me the time of changing out the fans.

3 out of 5 eggsFor the price, it's an okay case.

Pros: This case has very clean lines, and is one of the best-looking budget boxes I've built in recently.
This case has a generous amount of 3.5" bays, and decent brackets for tooless installation. Though I'd still use screws on the backside of hard drives or steal one of those brackets from another bay.
The front IO is quite nice, with four USB 2.0 ports, audio and eSATA.
After building in this case for a friend, I have an even greater appreciation of cable management space behind motherboard trays.

Cons: The power button on that front IO has a tendency to stick, which I'm guessing Rosewill knew about, considering the indentation on the left edge of said button is perfect for unjamming it the 5-10% of the time that it sticks.
There is no USB 3.0. I don't find this to be a showstopper, especially in a budget case that can be had for $35 to $40.
This case has almost no cable management space behind the motherboard tray to speak of, with about a 1cm gap between the tray and wall. Try routing a 24-pin back there, and it might not bulge. Want the very generous front IO cables back there, too? That's why the single stick-on clip that's just high enough to fit back there.
The side panels are a nightmare to close. You either need help, or feet to close them, even without cables pushing back at you.

Other Thoughts: It's a fantastic case after building, but I can's believe that this case has seven 3.5" bays, when corners were cut on the side panels and cable management cavity. I'd much rather have a case with 2-4 3.5" bays, and better side panel construction.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very durable
Sleek, neutral appearance
Good cost to value

Cons: Somewhat cramped interior, but that's what to expect with a mid tower
Okay airflow.

Other Thoughts: 3rd year of service, will probably replace soon in favor of a case with better airflow.

Pros: Inexpensive
Neutral look

Cons: The power button is terrible. If you don't push it right it will get stuck pushed in which gets annoying.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case for the money

Pros: Case is great, the negative reviews for tight hardware is due to paint in the fastener holes, easily removed the first time you run the hardware in. Case is roomy, enough hardware to put a micro ATX and 3 hard drives.

Cons: If you are going to run cables behind the mb support, it does not have enough room, but without glass whats the difference.

5 out of 5 eggsGood case but....

Pros: 4 Front USB Ports
Front eSATA Connection
Good Cable Management (see Other thoughts)

Cons: ZERO clearance between an ATX MB and the PSU (I did not deduct any eggs - this is more of a warning than a complaint - please see Other thoughts)

Other Thoughts: This case gives you the ability to run the sata/power cables behind the MB plate to the bottom front of case. However, once you've done this, putting the side back on the case is a bit of a trick. It's a TIGHT fit so you may actually need someone to help you. If they would have just made the case 1/2" to 1" wider I believe everything would have fit much cleaner.

As for the "CON" I listed above, as I said this is more of a warning than a complaint. When I built my system 6 years ago (this case was purchased just to do a case swap) I installed this cooler on my CPU. The width of the entire unit is 140mm and therefore it hangs over the top edge of the MB (ASUS P5Q SE/R) by about 1 inch. My other ATX Mid Tower gave me just enough clearance between the MB and PSU that this fit perfectly. However, this new case is almost 2 inches shorter than my old one despite them both being ATX Mid Tower cases so there is ZERO room for any CPU cooling fan "hangover". It looks like 120mm (entire unit, not just the fan size) is about the max size you can have as to not have any hangover, at least with this MB. I purchased a slightly smaller orb style cooler and now I wait.

1 out of 5 eggsTrue Life: I should have bought a nicer case.

Pros: It was cheap, and on sale. Suppose my owning this was more a beggars choosers situation than anything.

Cons: I am very confident that with 20 minutes and an exacto knife that I could turn the cardboard box that this case was shipped in into a better quality case.

I'll just rattle off a list here.

•MOBO posts would not screw in my fingers, had to use pliers.

•Thumb screws to hold on case sides are severely misaligned and one is very bent.

•Hole for access to rear of CPU for mounting heat sinks does not line up. Had to remove the motherboard to mount it, so the hole is useless.

•Has punch out holes in front grill for floppy drives and such, but they are extremely loose. when shipped mine arrived with a few already falling out and rolling around the case.

•cables for front USB ports, LEDs, and Audio are way too long.

•Not enough 'No Screw' clips to mount 4 hard drives, though it has 6 bays.

•Metal construction is extremely weak.

•Majority of screw hole threads were chewed up, or misaligned completely.

If you are buying this case because its a bit cheaper, question how much your time is worth as you struggle with the shoddy quality of this thing for hours.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't give this case to my worst enemy. I've never been more angry at an inanimate object. When I buy a new case, I will slow motion destroy this with a baseball bat while listening to Geto Boys song Still like that scene in Office Space with the printer.
