Optimized for efficient cooling, and created with a sleek, professional style, the Rosewill 600 series computer case is cool in both senses of the word. Using air ducts on the front for drawing cool air in, and pushing hot air out the side and the back of the case, the 600 series is ideal for cooling any system. The front ducts are adjustable so when less air intake is needed, the ducts can be closed keeping dust out. In addition the front filter traps dust before it can reach the inside of the case. A removable hard drive cage allows for easy installation for multiple hard drives.

The top of the case is designed for optical drives which include sliding rails for an easy install, and when you need to replace an old device just slide it out and pop in a new one. Next to the power button you will find 2 USB ports and 2 audio ports as well as a flip top to hide them. All that and a 450w power supply and you're set for a great building experience. The model R604TBLK is finished in black. Black is cool, right?

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: Plenty of fans. Mounting holes for additional fans/filters. Really like the hard drive mounting rack in this one.

Cons: Not as stylish as my other Rosewill case.
There's a slight gap where the side panel meets the front of the case at the bottom.

Other Thoughts: Simple case. Easy to work with. All that most people will need.

4 out of 5 eggsBudget Success

Pros: It came with 3 120 fans, was nice and fit everything I put in it to build a gaming budget rig. Buttons are sturdy. The removable filter on the front works well. The airflow is satisfactory. It looks nice. There are no problems, which for a budget case is a big pro.

Cons: Case vibrates a little on top, and flexes. I placed a fairly heavy item on the top to control it.

Other Thoughts: Though this is not a perfect case, for a money-saver it is a gem and recommended for system builders.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price

Pros: Price
Three fans included
Plenty of room
Good internal layout
Solid build (for the price!)
Provides ample numbers of screws and connectors
Did I mention price?

Overall good case, easier to work with than other cases I've had for lots more $$$

Cons: Tool-free drive attachments don't work as well as they could (but are removable!)
Front panel faceplates for optical drives don't work with my Lite-ON DVD drives

Other Thoughts: After a little tweaking of the tool-free kits, it works like a charm. Case is solid, well ventilated, and and well laid out. Not much more you can ask for from a no-nonsense straight forward case at this price point.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap price. Serves its purpose.

Cons: No biggie.

Other Thoughts: The HDD station runs width wise. Therefor causing a tight fit for the cover with all the sata, power cables. I have one old IDE HDD that uses an IDE to SATA adapter that protrudes out of the case. Needless to say, cover could not close. So had to mount that HDD in one of the drive bay. No biggie.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case for the Money

Pros: This is a basic case, but it does everything I need it to. Mine came with three 120mm fans: front, back, and top. All the necessary hardware was included. I had no problems during the build.

Cons: Front panel pops off easily, and I'd rather have the USB ports mounted higher. With the computer sitting on the floor, the USB ports aren't visible.

5 out of 5 eggsoh yeah

Pros: got lucky as of OCT 15'09. Mine came with all 3 120mm fans 2 are only with a power supply connectors(top and rear) front panel fan has the MB 3pin. Over all very strudy, i move it around alot, too. Filter is not fine so air can get through easy next to front panel fan.

Cons: my first build, would have been nice to have some directions come with it. Front doors come loose during shipping, so i got scarred i got a bad front panel. had to rotate the front fan to get more wire length to the MB. Had to unscerw rear fan to properly connect MB.

Other Thoughts: both side panels come of easy and front panel. newegg is missing a pic of the left door ... it does have the big CPU air out vent.

3 out of 5 eggsNew Case

Pros: The case is a lot cooler looking than my previous case. The 3 spots for fans are great! They can use 120mm in front/back/side panel. The rear 120mm comes free. The 3 3.5" interior rack is removable and mounts sideways for easy plug access. The room around the motherboard of my Mid-ATX board is plentiful. The shorter but deeper design opens up space in useful areas around the board.

Cons: The front blank covers become dislodged very easy if bumped into. Then you have to remove the front panel to reattach them. The tool-less design is a little tight with hard drive installation. The removable rack is "not" tool-less. The accessories on the back are not tool-less either and they are punch-outs instead of the removable/re-attachable covers. There are no instructions for anything except the front panel wiring. I still have parts left over that I have no idea where they go. And the free 120mm rear fan is not a 3 pin fan.

Other Thoughts: Overall I think I like this case due to the color and the steel design. It was within my budget and leaves a lot of room for expansion.

1 out of 5 eggsRun.....fast...

Pros: It didnt kill me in my sleep.

Cons: The whole case! I understand that these are bargain items but the quality is just horrible! When I opened the box that the case came in the firt thing I noticed was the 120mm fan in the back smashed into about 12 pieces inside the case. This was not from shippping or mishandling because the box was in perfect condition which means some moron at the factory must have been messing with it before it was packed. The 2 CDRom spring loaded bezels in the front just completely fall apart if you look at them wrong, I broke thfirst one taking it out of the case, the little plastic dowel that it pivots on just snapped and the spring went flying, the second one broke when I tried to replace it in an empty slot.

Other Thoughts: If you are on a budget and cant get anything else, the company does stand behind the case as they offered to replace everything that broke, then I guess this will suffice. I was luckily able to convince my neighbor to swap cases with me ( he had my friends Lian Li, from when he bought the machine from him) but doesnt really care about the case.
