5 out of 5 eggsgreat gaming case

Pros: it has an exhaust fan right above your CPU, so it stays cool, 2 spots for 120mm fans in the sides, now THAT is awesome, and the front blue LED fan, looks awesome on first start up, and looks great at LAN parties.

Cons: none as of right now.

Other Thoughts: I will be putting a new PC in this case later this week, and hopefully it all works out, this case is an absolute BEAST for my tastes.

3 out of 5 eggsGood Case

Pros: - 5x 3.5" drive bays.
- USB 3.0 ports on the top of case.
- Bottom mounted PSU.

Cons: - Cheap plastic, the first case shipped to me was beat up in transit and the plastic front of the case was broken. I had to RMA it for replacement.
- The USB 3.0, and audio jacks on the front of the case keeps falling out, it looks like the plastic clips just gave up and I used super glue to make sure it stays this time.
- It's a pretty basic case, good air flow.

Other Thoughts: For a mid-tower case this is good on price and size. It's not overly heavy and can serve for a good gaming rig, especially if on a budget.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case

Pros: Really love that blue led light. Has the power button, usb & esata ports exactly where I wanted them for my under desk office pc. I wanted to be able to use my esata external drive which used to be a dvr expander but now holds Go Pro footage & can be moved back and forth to my media center pc. Great case for a reasonable price.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Really surprised that this inexpensive part of the whole build would excite me enough to write a review on it.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat case

Pros: Case is a great bang for your buck if it is on sale. I am still waiting on the rebate but that is not rosewills fault. Everything worked, case looks nice and neat, the inside is painted black which is awesome. It also has dust filters.

Cons: None so far, maybe the price if it is not on sale

3 out of 5 eggsMissing a part

Pros: This is a great case for a very affordable price. It comes with a load of fans, ample space for hardware, and a fairly stable chassis.

Cons: I've ordered several of these at different times for different customers. However, the last one that I've ordered came without the SSD adapter tray!

Other Thoughts: I've called customer support about the last case and the missing SSD adapter tray. At first they had issues understanding what I was trying to tell them I was missing. "You mean it didn't come with any accessories?" After some back and forth, it's going to take 4 to 6 weeks for something to be in stock so I can get my adapter. This seems a little ridiculous.

3 out of 5 eggs3.5 eggs, six months in and some USB problems

Pros: Very, very economical. 25 bucks after the mail in rebate and with two front USB ports, metal construction, and great ventilation throughout the case. Great value.

I found the front blue light to be tasteful too.

Cons: Keep in mind that this is a very inexpensive case so you can't expect too much. The side panel is hard to put in and out but it's not that bad.

After six months of light use, the front two USB 3.0 ports stopped working. I rarely ever use them, just to charge and put music on my small MP3 players. Rebooted computer, uninstalled USB controllers on device manager and did a few other things but they still don't work.

Thankfully, newegg decided to give me 10 dollars in credit so I think that it is a fair trade-off. I would still have liked to have functional front USB ports but I can use the rear ones at least. Happy with their customer service and may or may not buy another Roseville case.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Value

Pros: 1. Great Price
2. 3 Fans already in the case. They work well for my moderate computer usage (no overclocking or heavy gaming)
3. Mesh front and side for more ventilation

Cons: 1. The front of the case can be easily bent/pushed in as it is rather weak. You can't expect much given the price you're paying, you just have to be careful and you wont have any problems.

Other Thoughts: I bought this case for my first budget pc build, and I had no problems installing all of my components and putting it back together. Great case for the price.

3 out of 5 eggsIt ain't bad, but it ain't great.

Pros: The finish is pretty good. The black paint was even and there were no missed spots.

The fans are nice and quiet.

There's plenty of room for big CPU coolers.

Cons: The side panel with the two fan mounts is very flimsy compared to the rest of the case. It is also warped and that makes it difficult to put the screws back in. I'm disappointed with how cheap it seems compared to the rest of the case. The other side panel is nice and thick. It's odd to skimp on one and not the other.

I've also had problems with the front panel. The headphone jack has a short in it and will not recognize my headphones no matter which pair I plug in. This is significant because my motherboard mutes the the main speakers if headphones are plugged in. I have to disable jack detection so that my speakers aren't off and on all the time. I'm not going to sit there and hold my headphones a certain way just to hear them. (they are muted if the main speakers are on...you see the problem?)

Another issue with the front panel is that the solder that holds the USB 3 ports on the inside has come apart. I don't have any solder or a soldering gun so I had to tape mine down for the time being.

Also, I do wish there was a removable MOBO tray.

Other Thoughts: I've had this case for two years now. Everything was fine while the warranty was good, but then the front panel started acting up.

Would I buy this case again? I'm not so sure now after having it for two years. The quality of the front panel is suspect after looking at it. Combine that with the flimsy side panel that doesn't like to be put back on and I'm left feeling "meh" about the whole thing.

As I said: It ain't bad, but it ain't great.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Box

Pros: This case comes with 3 fans and room for more. One of the reasons I chose this case was I didn't have to buy fans. Others in this price range didn't have 3 strategically placed fans. Add a couple of fans to other manufacturers' cases, and you blow right by this price point.
I built a budget gaming quality computer with an AMD 760K Richland 3.8GHz Socket FM2 100W Desktop Processor AD760KWOHLBOX CPU, ASRock FM2A88X+ BTC FM2+ AMD A88X (Bolton D4) SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Gaming motherboard, a PowerColor PCS+ AX7950 Radeon HD 7950 3GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 GPU, G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) RAM, and a Kentek 750W Gaming 120MM Fan Silent ATX Power Supply PSU 12V.
This setup has had no problem overheating at all, even while playing some intense Battlefield 4 multiplayer sessions with graphics set to Ultra.
When I received the case, I was curious because others had criticized the thinness of the metal of the case. I noticed that the case seemed light and I could flex the top and sides with my thumb, but it certainly didn't crumple. Now after weeks of use by my kids, wife, and myself, there are no dents or scratches. The black paint is sound and tough.
My son suggested getting a case with USB and Audio connectors on the top, a bottom mounting for the power supply, and a full ATX size. The Rosewill Challenger fit the bill on every count!

Cons: Really nothing to gripe about. I didn't need the front panel fan to light up, but for a gaming case, that is not too much. The rest of the case is clean and simple. I've gotten rather used to it and it is a nice blue!

Other Thoughts: Unless you have specific needs other than what the Rosewill Challenger offers, you cannot go wrong with this product. I shopped for some time for a case that had these features, and I was not disappointed. 5 Eggs

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: This case is awesome! For the price I got it at, I'm very happy. All solid metal and put together quite well.

Cons: The only gripe I have is that there is no CPU power hole in the top-left hand corner of the case. Not enough to take one egg off but still something to consider.

Other Thoughts: I was going to go with the non-USB 3.0 version but they were the same price. So why not?
