4 out of 5 eggsCHALLENGER-U3 case

Pros: see 10/4/2014 11:02:32 AM

Cons: Well kept my fingers crossed but maybe should have given front panel problems in reviews more credence. The front panel connectors were a major buying consideration. The ESata socket no longer works. Rosewell does not cross ship so I must order complete case and the return a complete case. Their customer service was prompt and helpful. I will update as needed.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat if power button worked

Pros: Lots of drive bays, quick release for almost all connections, easy to remove and put back side covers. Nice fan placement and light upfront.

Cons: Breakaway front panel connectors are easy to fail. Hard drive light also failed.

Other Thoughts: I like this case especially the drive slots. But, there are two breakaway wires on the front panel without enough slack. Several times I've removed the front panel to get to the 3.5" drive bays and these little wires pop off. It's been easy to get them back on (OK not easy. It's a pain) but now they won't work for the power button. There is plenty of contact but this is a deal breaker for me. The HDD light is also out. I assume for the same reason.

3 out of 5 eggsOnly 1 USB port is functional.

Pros: Well designed case, quiet fans.

Cons: Only one of the USB 3.0 ports on the front is functional. The other simply does not work. Very disappointed.

3 out of 5 eggsSaddening

Pros: Nice case, the USB 3.0 is a nice touch. the E-sata is really nice too.

Cons: The case came broken. the Styrofoam packaging was cracked when I got it. it seamed to be a packaging error, will be trying to get a replacement. it would been nicer if instead of the hhd led there was a power light, but I mean u can just plug the led into the power part. but that being said the light is a little too bright and hurts the eyes in dark rooms.

Other Thoughts: I will add to this later, hopefully I can get a replacement.

5 out of 5 eggsEggcellent Case! Eggcellent purchase!

Pros: Case is robust, beautiful, and looks like a gaming PC if i'v ever seen one. Cable management in this case is strong and distributed well. The space inside this mid-tower needs no justification as it is, how do you say...? Perfect.

Couldn't be happier with this case!

Cons: This case can't give birth to my child

2 out of 5 eggsCould be better

Pros: Cheap enough. Plenty of fans. Enough space. Has a cut out panel right at the back of the CPU for certain heatsinks.

Cons: Kind of cheap construction. Poor space management for wires. Only 1 tray for HDD or SSD although you can stack 2 on top of each other.

Other Thoughts: It's not bad but it's not great. If you were new to building your own computer you won't feel much of a difference. If you worked with another chassis before, this one will feel clumsy overall. The trays for the disk and optical drive are plastic and feels flimsy.

3 out of 5 eggs2 case fans and a cleaning

Pros: Easy to deal with,I like the case over all

Cons: Dec 2.2014 two of case fan started making a growling noise 140 and the back 120 had to be replaced I know they don't last for ever but they should have lasted 2 years at least . Cleaning of the case isn't bad until you get to the front fan grill it's held on by tabs, they will eventually break off after it's off it's easy I need
to come up with a way to remedy this before this happens. also I have yet to get the front head phones to work

Other Thoughts: It's not a bad case just thought everyone should know what has happened so far.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome case

Pros: Air flow,2 sided access., tons of room for all you components

Cons: Can't find any

Other Thoughts: Nice case with plenty of air flow with a fan for the hd, in front side door with 2 fans and a top fan for the test heat. I like the fact is a full size case and the usb 3 on the power board is nice, if I do have a draw back it would be the fact you cannot remove the power switch board when you take off the front cover.
