Good budget case
- Pros: Big, roomy and cheap. There is lots of room to work with in the case and it gets good airflow.
- Cons: The metal is a little thin, you have to be careful punching out the expansion port and drive plates. There isn't enough holes for mounting a full ATX motherboard. There is also a slight gap between the case and the drive when mounting an optical drive in an external drive bay. None of these are major issues and everything works fine.
- Other Thoughts: For the price this is a great case. A few minor cons but nothing too irritating.
Cheap and Good
- Pros: Cheap. Nice and black. Plenty of space inside and a nice side vent.
Really, for a basic case you can't really beat this price.
Came with plenty of screws. Sort of a grab bag, but they were screws!
- Cons: No real cons. Minor quibbles, but the case is $29.99. I don't expect all that much.
- Other Thoughts: The rear fan is loud. VERY loud. This is probably more noticable as my tower sits in the open, not under a desk.
It doesn't bother me, in fact, i always know when its running. But keep this in mind.
I wish it had a front fan as well, but for the price, its pretty tough to be for a basic case.
It's cute
- Pros: Well, its a case. Everything fits really snug. Set up of the front panels was pretty easy. Got this for my first computer build. I like how it covers up the disc drives to make everything look consistent. Side ventilation puts my mind at ease knowing theres a funnel going directly over the CPU and that there isnt hot air circulating around it.
- Cons: I like how theres a little door to the usb ports and audio jacks, but it makes the power button a little difficult to reach. also the blue light for the power is really bright. hard to tell whats what since everything thing is dark down there and theres a blue light shining right in my face.
I can tell its going to get cramped in the case as I upgrade but its a micro case. theres no avoiding that.
- Other Thoughts: When I first got this and put it together in my living room my sister walked in and said the computer looks cute cause its all small and square... i tend to agree with this.
