4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Lots of space, case quality seems good. Plenty of room to install extra drives if you know what you are doing.

Cons: Laser bright power LED and bright flashy red HDD LED. Case fan is also loud. These issues can however be corrected (See below). I do not like how the CD drawer does not stay closed if the case is used in a horizontal configuration. This forces you to use the case vertically, I would not have bought this case if I knew this beforehand. I will deduct one egg for this.

Other Thoughts: To dim the power button, pull the green wire Pled+ wire and cut it about 3 " back from the black MB connector. Insert a 11k ohm 1/2 Watt or larger resistor in this wire. For the overly bright HDD LED, cut the red HDD connector wire likewise about 3" back from the black connector and insert a 7.5k ohm 1/2 watt or larger resistor. These changes will dim the LED's quite well for use as a HTPC. For the overly noisy case fan, cut the red wire going to the case fan and insert a 100 ohm 1/2 watt or larger resistor. This will drop the case fan to approx. 1100 rpms and quiet it down substantially. Be sure to insulate all of the bare wires, heat shrink is best but electrical tape will work in a pinch. These changes make this case a much better HTPC case option.

3 out of 5 eggs80mm Case Fan Location / Quality a Problem

Pros: This case is a typical compact micro ATX case. Nothing really stands out. It is heavy for its size but sturdy. Works well in crowdy/noisy environments... not recommended for quiet offices.

Really solid for the price; after reading the previous reviews, it looks like they apparently fixed the packaging and the front panel because mine came in well packaged and in perfect condition.

The case has a floppy disk bay which fits a 3.5" HDD just fine. This allows you to configure a total of two 3.5" HDDs if you follow the instructions properly and supply enough power to run them.

Cons: -The case fan is located within 6.6" from where your power supply screws in. This presents a problem when attempting to upgrade the power supply. Most power supply units for this form factor measure 6.7 - 7 inches in length.

CAUTION: I purchased a SeaSonic SS-300TFX Bronze 300W TFX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply - OEM and found out it would not fit by 1/8 in. That power supply measures aprox 6.7" in lenght.

-The case fan is pretty loud; it averaged 72db in 5 tests...way louder than any fan you can purchase. I recommend you replace it with an ENERMAX UC-8EB 80mm Case Fan (less than $10.00 w/ shipping fees here at newegg).

-The power supply it comes with does not provide power lines for a PCI-E video card. I am confident to say it would not provide enough power as well.

-The power supply provides 2 molex connectors and 1 floppy connector which have no use no a days.

-The Power supply only provides 2 SATA connectors.

Other Thoughts: I'm currently running it with:
-MSI H81M-P33 LGA 1150 Intel H81 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
-Intel Pentium / integrade HD graphics
-CORSAIR XMS3 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Desktop Memory Model CMX8GX3M2A1333C9
-LG Black 12X BD-ROM 16X DVD-ROM SATA Internal Blu-ray Drive Model UH12NS30

5 out of 5 eggsBuilt [Rosewill]Tough

Pros: Like the title hints, this case has been a reliable workhorse for years and is still good. Three motherboard and two drive upgrades so far, relocated to multiple houses, floors, and lived long stays in a basement machine rack and in a wood shop. This industrial-like, sturdy case has outlasted its peers. Its heavy gauge metal and thick black paint repels any (reasonable) assult, and the feature to secure with a cable lock is great.

Cons: The bundled power supply isn't as durable as the case. But that provides a good excuse to upgrade to a better one, or in my case, to a just-as-reliable PicoPSU.

5 out of 5 eggsgood little case

Pros: i have ordered 15+ of these cases and each was received in perfect condition. The power supply is small but have yet had one go out (6 months to 1+year) . its a little tight but you can get everything in easy. i have no complaints. it does what it is supposed to!!!

Cons: none so far!!!!

Other Thoughts: when building, pay attention to the placement of your rom and where to slide the eject button. not a problem but i missed it a few times on the first builds. its really tight putting an extra hard drive in but you can. you might consider putting in an extra fan or 2 just to keep it cool if your running 2 drives. overall its worth the money for the quality and consistency!!.

3 out of 5 eggsSmall Flaws

Pros: Compact design, well finished for the price point, good drive tray configuration.

Cons: Very noisy top fan had to be unplugged for acceptable noise levels. The 5.25" drive access door hangs up on the back side of a retracting CD drive, this is a design oversight.

5 out of 5 eggsIts simple

Pros: Simple desktop, i've had no problems with it

Cons: It'd be nice to have a few more USB ports on the front of the chassis.
I'm not sure who would need to use the floppy drive door on the front..old design?

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: 1 - Inexpensive
2 - Lightweight
3 - Easy to install motherboard.
4 - Good airflow.
5 - Came with power supply (that met my minimum requirements)

Cons: 1 - Front plastic bezel seems delicate.

While the packing seemed to be more than sufficient, I'm uncertain if the plastic bezel was compromised before or after I handled it as I noticed a small piece of plastic had broken off from the front bezel after installing a motherboard --- This however, could be a result of me not handling it delicately enough, but I'm uncertain.

Other Thoughts: I'm overall happy with the chassis as I was looking for something that full filled my above listed 'pros', but would strongly recommend to anyone choosing to order it after reading these reviews, to handle the chassis, especially the front plastic bezel, with extreme care.

4 out of 5 eggsCompact but complete

Pros: Compact, used for remote DVR viewing. Requirements were minimal and this unit preformed well.

Cons: Power supply not rated for continuous use.

Other Thoughts: Found it was easier/cheaper to order a new case w/power supply than locate and replace power supply.
