Excellent
- Pros: Case is very well made. Rails Fit no problem. Includes some HD Fans.
- Cons: Had to take off the front panel handles to close the rack door. But that is my error.

GREAT CASE! Slimline DVD Modification Needed!
- Pros: Case is good size. Lots of room. I am using 6 (5.25) removable drive holders. (3 x sata and 3 x ide) *No Internal drives.
1- Floppy, 1- Card Reader and 1 Slim Line DVD RW
Core2 Duo 3 GHz, 4 GB, temps look good, noise level seems fine. (In a cabinet with some other gear.)
- Cons: Had to purchase rails seperate. (Rosewill 26" rails work very well but are TOO LONG, by about 4".) *NewEgg
NO Slim Line DVD Adaptor included, purchased Norco unit from NewEgg for about 5.00.
Slim line dvd adaptor is the full width of the drive. The way the bracket is shaped, the adaptor does NOT fit.
HAD to drummel and cut away about 1 inch off the back of the bracket so the adaptor would fit.
*Once cut out, all worked GREAT.
- Other Thoughts: If you can find a slim adaptor that is not as wide as the drive- you'll be fine. (Or if you don't need a slim line drive.)
I was fairly disappointed that Rosewill didn't think a little harder with that OR simly include an adaptor that would fit properly.
I was sad that I couldn't find rails to match the same depth of the case.
Nice Chassis
- Pros: Nice chassis
Well, I bought this chassis a couple of months ago and it has been working out really nice for me. The build quality is wonderful and it includes everything you need to get started. The steel used to build the case is nice and thick and most the sharp edges have been filed down. The handles are metal as well and the door, hinge, and locking mechanism are of good build quality.
- Cons: The chassis came packaged well (packaged in a double cardboard box with foam stabilizers on the corners, top, and bottom) but several components had come loose during shipping and needed to be reattached/reassembled, nothing major just the lock and one of the front handles, probably due to the shipping currier not being particularly cautious with the large parcel.
- Other Thoughts: The con mentioned above is more of a reflection on the shipping company.

RSV-Z4000 is an excellent design of server rackmount chassis.
It is well made by 1.2 mm Japanese steel to protect the whole system.
It can carry external 3.5” HDD x3/ internal 3.5” HDD x2/ 5.25” device x6 (which can also switch to carry 3.5” HDD x6)/ external optical slim drive x1 (which can also switch to 3.5” HDD x1) totally.
Best cooling design can carry front 120 mm cooling fan x2 and back 80 mm cooling fan x2 max (there are one 120 mm fan and one 80 mm fan coming with the server body)
One 120 mm front fan and one 80 mm back fan are included in RSV-Z4000.
Both of them are two ball bearing fan and with thermal control design.
Front door with key lock for better security.
Special design of fixing PCI card in the system 7 pieces max.
