4 out of 5 eggsGood case

Pros: Pros: Plenty sturdy, solid construction, no sharp edges, comes with a lot of screws and one motherboard standoff, for a spot on the case where there's no built in standoff. Also comes with a tiny beep speaker on the end of an inch long wire with header connection.

Cons: Cons: The front panel controls/lights wires are barely long enough to reach their headers, but the case fan wires could almost wrap around the whole case. I'd say if your front panel headers are in the middle to the right on the bottom of the board then the wires in this case should be just long enough. Also, the reset button cannot be activated by any human finger, and requires something like a long pen tip to activate.

The air slits on the front are only about a millimeter wide so air flow through them can't be that good. But the bottom of the bezel has a big air flow opening underneath that is not blocked on a hard surface since there are 1/4 inch+ rubber feet on the case bottom to raise it. However, on a normal plush carpet I would expect the feet to sink down, causing the bottom bezel opening to be at least partially blocked.

Other Thoughts: It has a hasp for a lock to keep the side panel from being opened. Sometime in the three days between me ordering and receiving the case, they began offering a free flash drive with it, which I could certainly use.

5 out of 5 eggsDiscontinued? Big mistake, Rosewill. BIG MISTAKE.

Pros: Cooling for both hard drives and mATX shipsets via the front fan, space for several hard drives OR for the ability to mount a hard drive in the best place relative to the motherboard ports and/or cards, plus plenty of 5.25 and 3.5 drive bays, solid pre-formed motherboard posts, and well-placed front-panel ports.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I've bought dozens of these cases for various builds, and we were recently forced to buy Rosewill's newer FBM-01 when we found the R101-P-BK is now DISCONTINUED. Note to Rosewill: BIG MISTAKE. The FBM-01 has no hard drive cooling, the standoff threads can be stripped by anything more than finger tightening, and the rear fan is 92mm max. That's progress, and that's your new mATX case line? Too bad for Rosewill, because you no longer have a customer if the R101-P-BK is gone.

3 out of 5 eggsNewegg, stop discontinuing Rosewill cases!

Pros: Purchased a batch of these to house servers to put in a small datacenter.
Well, they are so-so cases. I threw the server builds together and installed them the same day I received the cases.
Power button is huge and easy to find even in dim light.
They aren't beautiful cases but they're cheap and solid, and include a 120mm fan.
Each server held two 500GB SATA disks, Micro ATX Motherboards, Dual Core AMD processors, a single dvdrom drive, and a 300w power supply. These cases went fine for that.

Cons: Fan a bit noisy, ugly case, side panel can be annoying to remove after a while. But for our purpose in a datacenter with hundreds of other noisy boxes who cares?

Other Thoughts: Not a great case but good enough for a basic server or pc build.

5 out of 5 eggsBetter than expected for the price!

Pros: I just simply love this case. Excellent quality, came with all the screws for the motherboard, drives etc. Some have stated the side panel that removes doesn't line up, personally I don't have that problem at all, even after taking it off and putting it back on again a few times. Plenty of room, great air flow. Computer runs quiet and cooler than ever! Can't beat this product for the price!

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case for the price.

Pros: This is a well-made budget case. I purchased it from Newegg for $30 plus free shipping.

Cons: NOne.

Other Thoughts: Of course, there are much better cases out there -- but they cost 4 to 6 times as much. I purchased this case for a low-budget HTPC build, and for that purpose it is excellent.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Right Stuff

Pros: The right price point, the right shape and size, the right air flow, the right look, the right amount of space, the right number of bays internal/external, and the right front panel connections.

Cons: Discontinued!

Other Thoughts: Why Newegg would discontinue one of their most popular Rosewill branded cases is beyond me.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent Basic Case

Pros: Simple, no frills case. Cheap. Good airflow from the 120mm fan. Some complained about sharp edges, and while there was some (to be expected from such a cheap case), they were not a real issue to me. Enough room for a smaller sized graphics card. Used it in a simple AMD based web surfer machine without issue.

Cons: Very light. Rather flimsy construction. Plastic feels like it can be cracked easily. Fan is kinda loud, but not too bad. Does not come with the side intake funnel as shown in the pictures.

Other Thoughts: A decent case for a simple build. Good airflow means it can probably handle a lower end gaming build, but I wouldn't recommend it.

5 out of 5 eggsA good basic case

Pros: Nothing fancy here. Just a basic box to mount things in. Still, it's good and solid, and easy to work in, with no surprises lurking to bite. No lights, no blue glowing fans, no windowed sides, nothing like that. It's a box you build up, stick under your desk, and forget.

Cons: The only thing I wish it had was a USB3 port on the front, but I can easily live without that.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Easy install, no dents, looks great, even had a teeny tiny speaker!

Cons: Missed it on sale last month! Bummer!

Other Thoughts: Perfect case for micro boards. Added an extra fan, but not really needed.
