"Engineering, I need more power!" "Cap'n, the engines are near to meltin' now; she canna do it!"
Heat has always been the bane of machinery, and computers are no exception. Even as processors are designed to generate less heat, we users pile on more hard drives, more powerful graphics boards, and try to squeeze as many boards into the case as we can. Rosewill's mid-sized tower has two 120mm intake fans and a 120 mm exhaust fan, and you can add a fourth fan to the side panel if you like.
Designed for the ATX and micro ATX motherboards, with nine 5.25" drive bays and six 3.5" hard drive bays, and seven slots for expansion boards, this steel case lets you cram a lot into a little without breaking a sweat. The 500W power-supply delivers ample power for your needs and comes with connections for the most current applications including SATA and PCI-e. Is this the case you need? I don't know. I bet your own Chief Engineer will thank you for it.

Decent case for the money
- Pros: Nice looking exterior.
500w power supply included. Power, reset, USB, Firewire, audio jacks on the top front. Plenty of room for MB installation. Loads of drive bays (8 I think). Filters built into drive bay covers. 3 120mm fans -- one rear, two front. Front panel connectors labeled. Both side panels easily removed for excellent internal access.
- Cons: No documentation on power supply.
Installing drives in the bay requires a magnetized screw driver because the drive is reset deep into a 5" bay -- requires some dexterity. Cramped installation of Nvidia 260GTX card as it buts up against the lower drive bays yielding some of them unusable -- but there are plenty others to use.
- Other Thoughts: Over all a pretty good case and PS for the money and so far the fans are pretty quiet. My son loves his new Christmas Computer!
The Big Easy!!!
- Pros: This case is big and very well ventilated with 3 included case fans. This case is well laid out and makes it easy to access HD's, and burners. I love the front USB and SATA, MIC, Speaker hook ups. Good Bang for the Buck.
- Cons: The power supply runs a bit hot.
- Other Thoughts: I replaced to included PS with a bigger 750W Corsair.

Good Case
- Pros: Very good case for keeping any system nice and cool. Looks great too. Can't beat the included power supply either...which is plenty good for mid level computer demands. Overall very satisfied for the price.
- Cons: I'm not a big fan of the "pods" in the case. One fan per pod, kind of a hassle to add or remove drives. door needs to be treated like it's fragile.
- Other Thoughts: Sweet deal w/power supply. Newegg is awesome as well.
If I Only would've read the directions....
- Pros: The case looks good has plenty of room and comes with 3 fans. Is kinda heavy, but thats what I like. For the price you can't beat it with included power supply. Like the reverasable door.
- Cons: Finish scratches easy. The drive cages are a pain !!! I put in my motherboard in first then added the drives. you can't put in the drives (that I could tell) without taking out the cage. So I unscrewed them but couldn't pull them out without removing the motherboard which was in the way. Also the reversable door was easy to get off, but putting back on the other side was an almost 30 minute process because the spring kept coming out of the top hinge when I would pull the latch. I finally put a piece of tape over the hole where the spring is exposed and that took care of it. Power supply only has 2 sata powers and only 1 pci 16 power.
- Other Thoughts: Definatly happy with the case for what it cost. I bought a better power supply and used the included one with an older build. If I would've had read the case directions first I would've found you can take the drive bays out the front of the case, which would of made it a lot less frustrating. But that was my own fault.
Terrible power supply / Great case
- Pros: The case is great. 3 large fans. Plenty of space for components. The modular bays are great, and are easy to use (just use a magnetic screwdriver).
- Cons: The power supply is terrible. It emits a loud buzzing noise when connected or disconnected to the board. Even when plugged into the wall and nothing else, the buzzing is terrible. The buzzing only gets louder when the PC is under load. I am about 200 watts under the max load for this build, but still it's bad.
After what was a 1 month RMA process with Rosewill (I had to call and e-mail about 10 times to complete the process and get a replacement unit), I received another unit (sent back in the same packaging I used for the defective unit - it was beaten to heck), and the replacement unit is just as bad. Did they just send the defective unit back to me? I am not entirely sure. The customer service with Rosewill throughout the RMA process was terrible.
- Other Thoughts: I have built 7 systems in the past, and I will never buy another power supply or power supply case combo from Rosewill based on the customer service and product quality experience I had here.
