Other Thoughts: Making one of the 3.5" bays a 2.5" and a slight increase of overall height of .25" would make this case near perfect.

The increased height would allow for more airflow between CPU cooler and PSU (it's pretty tight in there), but in all honesty; I'm running a 5350 with a stock cooler with no additional cooling with zero heating issues.

The additional height would make for better cable management as well.

Seriously though, it's a good deal for a simple low power htpc and that's it.

Pros: Cheep and comes with power supply

Cons: Very poor ventilation, prossesor fan rests on power supply. Got hot way too fast

Pros: This case is perfect for embedded and other FAN LESS builds. If you're looking for the smallest case possible that supports 2 3.5" HDDs and a half size ROM, look no further. Bonus 250w PSU included, saving 30-50 extra dollars you would have had to spend if going with other similar cases. Ultra quiet PSU fan, the construction feels cheap but is surprisingly strong.

Some people complained about the power/activity lights being too dim, this is actually a plus for me since most of the time you get cases with insanely bright LEDs which makes it really annoying when the case is in a visible place like TV media center. It's nice not having to cover those lights with electrical tape.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Rating this less than 4-5 eggs because you expect a high end air cooled system to perform well in this case is just dumb. Look at the clearances - it's clear this case was designed for low TDP builds, which it does an outstanding job for.

Pros: Neat small desktop size.

Cons: Power button is not lit - power and hard drive activity lights are inside small groves to the bottom right and barely visible.
Full size hard drive installs I the bottom bay and negates the use of the front opening behind the bottom panel for let's say a card reader installation.
A full size hard drive "butts" into any RAM module with a heatsink that extends over the top of the RAM.
The top of the heatsink and fan for the CPU is less than a 1/2 inch away from the bottom of the power supply interfering with both the cooling of the power supply and the CPU.

Other Thoughts: I know size is the main reason to buy cases such as this, to minimize desktop space taken up by the computer but there are better designed cases out there that accomplish the same objective without sacrificing a good build.

Pros: Love the case small build makes it it nice to put it almost anywhere when its all done.

Cons: Ok now this May sound petty but the power supply not well braced so it sags. cable management is not easy at all I would have liked to see shorter cable's for the power supply. as well the hdd 2.5 or 3.5 needs to have more options for mounting like at the bottom some how. the one spot was so tight I could not put in a second dimm in.

Other Thoughts: all and all good case

Pros: This a VERY nice little case. It supports a full size mini-ITX board (and what I mean by that is it has adequate space if you choose to use a board with a fairly significant sized daughter board) a 5.25, 2x3.5 drive bays, a side one and a front horizontal one under the 5.25 drive, clearance for some RAM with non-standard heat spreaders etc. Front IO is standard, front Audio & Mic Jacks, Dual USB 2.0 ports, ability to use the front HDD cage as a card reader instead if you choose to. The cables are of a decent length, especially the LED & Power button ribbon cable. The Front Panel headers for the ECS H61H2-I5 I used are at the VERY back of the board right next to the I/O shield area but the cable reach fine with some left over that I zip-tied to the back vents to keep it out of the way.

I used this case to build a new PC for my wife who uses it for fairly common tasks, studying, email, browsing etc. It fits on her desk next to a VERY large monitor that honestly towers over this case but it all still looks aesthetically pleasing. The case also includes 3.5 rails to attach to your drive for sliding in place, not sure why this was included or even utilized but oh well. The accessory bag has plenty of hardware for all motherboard mount points, the expansion card, and the 5.25 and both 3.5 drive areas. It also includes some VERY nice rubber feet.

ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT by Sapphire Full Size Graphics Card (she doesnt need a lot in the way of GPU performance and I reused this card from her previous tower).

After I finished the build I placed the rubber feet on the left side (it has little indicators of where they can go) and turned the case on its side, so that the power button was now in the upper left corner). The feet cause plenty of clearance from any surface you put the case on and this also allowed for very adequate breathing room for the graphics card along the side vents.

Additional note - The side vents, while they may seem like they are purely aesthetic and allow for passive air intake, actually have hole spacings that would allow for up to 2 80mm fans to be installed on EACH side of the case. I added a single fan on the front section of the right side of the case and used it as an intake to force fresh air into the case.

If you want to build a very decent general purpose PC, possibly even a mid range HTPC, this is definitely a case to consider.

Cons: While I have a lot of good to say about the case, there are a few issues I have. Not all of these are complaints but more or less observances that I think might be helpful to other people looking to build in this case.

1 - While you can add some fans to the side of the case (I dont think this was intentional but it is possible) it does make taking the case cover off and on a bit more difficult. I know this is a budget case but a $5 to $8 increase in price to allow for multiple panels would be a nice improvement. I dont see people constantly rebuilding in this case or improving whats in it but its still something I look for in almost all builds.

2 - This is kind of a big one. I used the standard Intel cooler that came with the G1610 and the power supply LITERALLY sits right on top of the fan braces. There is no clearance whatsoever and I am afraid that the exhaust fan inside the power supply might be robbing the CPU cooler of some of the cool ambient air I am forcing into the case with its intake fan. I set the Intelligent CPU cooling option in the BIOS to silent but even with the CPU fan normally running at almost completely silent and the Gelid intake fan (also nearly silent) there was still some case noise at idle, not a lot mind you but I think it was the fan in the PSU. If you plan on putting a mid grade or higher CPU in this case a slim line performance cooler might be necessary. This was my only true complaint and the reason why I took off an egg (sorry Rosewill)

3 - The front indicator LEDs. Not even sure if you can call these LEDs, fairly certain they are actual bulbs. Most people complain about the brightness of typical blue power indicator LEDs on a front facing case, but this case has a green power indicator and a red HDD indicator and they are VERY dim. To me this isnt a big deal, at first glance you can usually tell that the power light is lit but some people may have an issue with this.

4 - IF you are going to build med to low end in this case, good. If you are going to put a LOT of heat generating components along with a 5.25 drive then you will find that it is going to fill up VERY quickly and will seem somewhat cramped. Once the DVD Drive was in, the power supply slid in very easily and was not hard to work with, but the clearance between the PSU and the DVD Drive was only about an inch and all the cables had to route between the PSU and DVD Drive to reach the 20+4 pin connector and the 4 pin CPU cable, which on my board was literally right below the power supply.

Other Thoughts: A VERY decent case to build a moderate PC in. Keep in mind what you are buying and what your intended purpose is.

Pros: Just a cute little case with some smart plastic hardware for maximizing what little space there is. Just right for a wee server.

Cons: Itty bitty, recessed and dim LEDs at first made me think I made a mistake building the computer. Really hidden little things. This may not be a con if you want this case in your bedroom.

Pros: Super small footprint.
Came with PSU.
Super cheap.
Looks more expensive than it was.

Cons: Front LEDs are barely visible but for some of you this is not a con.
The 3.5" HDD cage is in a poor spot. The drive fit but my sata cables were pushing against my RAM. I would recommend getting a 2.5" drive or using low profile RAM (this is all assuming of course that the board you intend to use has its RAM channels on the opposite end of the board from the IO).

Other Thoughts: As for the drive issue I ended up putting the drive below the normal mounting cage and mounting it to the bottom of the case. There is a ton of dead space there so I used it for a full size drive.

Like many I went with an AMD 5350. Its definitely a tight fit but it works and doesnt overheat. It stays so quiet I can hardly tell its running. If you plan on running anything else inside this case you"ll need to make sure you get a cooler that is low profile.

If youre considering getting this case for your AMD 5350 HTPC build, JUST DO IT. I did and it cured my cancer, brought my dad back, unkilled my dog, and entertained me.

Pros: Great Case Small and compact perfect for small spaces. At only a little over 5" tall it fit nicely under my monitor. Has space for the basics that you'd need. I Recommend using an A serious motherboard and cpu combo because you don't have to put a video card in the case and it will cut down on the heat at least it worked in my system.

The only mod that I did was mount 2 80mm fans to the side of the case the air vent there is the perfect size for them to sit side by side this is the only fans that is in the system other than the PS and CPU fans.

I would recommend this case if your wanting to build a compact computer for a specific task.

Cons: None really for it's size.

Other Thoughts: The case could of came with mounting brackets for fans on the opposite side from the HD sideways mount

Pros: ITX Form Factor
Includes a standard, modern power supply
Space for 2 3.5" HDs + a 5.25 optical drive

Cons: One HD bay is horizontal under the optical bay; the other is vertical in the rear near the power supply
Seems to be a little bigger than it absolutely needs to be: there appears to be space for another HD in the front, but no mounting hardware

Other Thoughts: I bought this for a DIY NAS enclosure and it looks good. The external appearance is nothing special, but unobtrusive. The power supply is small, adequate, and above all, quiet (even with its fan).
