5 out of 5 eggsNice case for $50

Pros: Good build quality for the $50 price range. Nice basic design, nothing fancy about it. Plenty of fan slots and drive bays. Feels like an appropriate build quality for the money.

Cons: It would be nice if the drive bays could be removed for better airflow. I also would have liked some way to mount another fan on the front. Not major problems especially considering design logic like that is typically found in higher end cases.

Other Thoughts: VERY tight fit for some of my parts.

ASUS M5A99FX PRO
AMD 8350
Cooler Master 812 EVO
XFX DD R9 280x

The 280x has about 1/4" to spare. You will only fit one in here. I used the 2nd and 3rd PCI slots (on the case, from the top) and it just barely fits in those 2 x 3.5" drive bays in the middle. Luckily they a little further back. The card will not fit in any other slots.

The CM 212 EVO fits with about 1/4" to spare. You will not fit another fan on the side panel (top slot)

4 out of 5 eggsHolding up perfectly

Pros: *I have basic tech knowledge and was looking for overall quality and ease of use, which this tower 100% offers*
Bought this tower in 2013 and thus far has met every basic need for the average gamer and NOTHING has broken or worn down. The mid size is perfect for gamers, I installed the Cooler Master TX3 heat sink, which is a decent size, and I still have plenty of space to work. Cleaning is very simple with lots of extra slack in the stock fans upon removal. The front panel made me nervous having to "rip" it off the main frame but so far it has held up over repeated removals. 2 Thumb turn nobs make accessing the side panel very pain free and you will thank the computer deity's for that more than you would think.

And of course the blue LED fan looks very slick!

Cons: The only problem I had was removing the "grates" off the front panel for cleaning. Behind all the alternate drive bays is a layer of mesh that builds up a lot of dust. I learned the hard way that after removing the mesh from above the fan port, reassertion is darn near impossible.... If you need to, remove the steel grating from the front panel first....which is also super annoying because all the tabs are just bendable metal.
The 140mm fan frame is a wee bit fragile due to thin plastic, so be careful when cleaning.

Other Thoughts: 2 years and going strong!! Mounts for 80-120mm fans on side panel!! Fantastic tower for such a low price but if you have the couple extra dollars, the next model up has 3.0 USB ports.

3 out of 5 eggsBuy 2 extra 120mm fans, at least

Pros: Roomy for a small ATX case, well laid out, nice screwless hard disk gizmos, looks good

Cons: Bad quality - usb ports on front panel are EXTREMELY fragile, even bending something plugged in a hair will break them. Fans are worthless and both failed within a few months. You need the fans to be operatings 100%, so buy two decent 120mm fans if you get this case.

2 out of 5 eggsGood for a while...

Pros: Size, using this for a build was very nice. I have to say I was initially very impressed. It's study and well build. The filter below the ps is a nice touch and the airflow is great.

Cons: No really power light... that's really no big deal I knew that... but it's annoying. Top fan was always loud and eventually had to be replaced in short order... but then again that's minor.

The real issue is the front panel. After the first month or so (which was a while back) the audio quit working... they came lose really easily. Not a big deal, needed new headphones anyway...

Got a new set with USB, worked great for about a month then one night part of the USB interface (the small black portion) came off in the headphones... I was eventually able to pull it out to keep them from being ruined but just didn't use headphones for a while.

Been a while, needed to use TS again, started using the second USB port... again was fine for a while then just stopped. Completely lose and falling apart but at least it didn't come off into the phone again.

I have 5 gaming systems at the house. Most are being used by children 6 to 12. This case is up, not near the floor, not where wires could be pulled, not accidents would happen, just normal use by myself or one of my oldest. Some cases have lasted for 10+ years, being used by the younger ones as they grew, none have had this problem and none were treated as well as this case (because it has one of the nicer systems in it)

Other Thoughts: I was really wanting to like this and I guess as I've had it for a while now it's served it's purpose at this price range. However the case would be around for quite a while, even a few more builds if only the front panel wasn't so cheap... I'll just order one of the cases I have used for most other builds.

5 out of 5 eggsI love this cheap piece of junk.

Pros: This case is exactly what you expect when you order a cheap case. I caught it on sale for $35 in early 2012 and haven't regretted it yet. It reminds me of the kind of cases cheap pre-built PCs came in in the late 90s/early 2000s but black and with a glowy fan stuck to the front. Long story short, you can indeed build a PC inside of this thing and use it.

Cons: Not as flashy as more expensive cases and doesn't fit together quite as nicely as some more modern designs, but it gets the job done.

4 out of 5 eggsNice overall case

Pros: - The case is well built and has a good amount of room for your average gaming build.
- Air flow is good considering it comes with 3 fans
- A simple look, not too flashy

Cons: - The top fan makes a slight rattling noise. I noticed this right after turning on my computer for the first time. Will probably buy a new 120mm fan. Kind of disappointing.

Other Thoughts: Still a good case for the price.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: I've had this case for 3 years now and just recently one of the fans crapped out on me. My liquid cooling radiator doesn't quite fit, but that's not the case's fault and I've made the necessary adjustments.

Cons: I'm not a fan of LEDs on fans... its a waste of energy. But this is more of a personal preference than an actual con.

5 out of 5 eggsRosewill CHALLENGER - Excellent Case

Pros: Perfect ATX Mid Tower Case. Plenty of bays for 5.25 and 2.5 drives or ssd's. Easy pop in and out rails. 3 stock fans, still going after almost 2 years and cooling case to 30C with an AMD Quad core 3.8GHZ processor. Like the simple plain design. Already own 2 and looking for a third if they come back in stock. Reasonably priced, another New Egg Great value.

Cons: NONE! NEW EGG Please re-stock this item.

Other Thoughts: It already comes with three fans, but you could add a fourth on the side panel if desired. I use a USB hub, but 4 ports in the front in lieu of 2 would have been nice. All in All I am very happy with the cooling performance and ease to work in side. There is also room to route cables behind the MB with access through the right side panel.

2 out of 5 eggsUpdated review-really unhappy

Pros: -Airflow
-Lightweight
-Price

Cons: -NO room for anything, especially cables, there is NO ROOM AT ALL on the back of the case for running cables.
-No hole on the top of the motherboard tray for running an EPS 8pin CPU power cable, so you end up having to drape it over the front of the motherboard...
-Flimsy construction

Other Thoughts: I am really really kicking myself right now for getting this thing. If you want a nice looking system inside this is NOT the case to get, you will have a rats nest of cables all over. If you do not care about having a clean build on the inside then go ahead and get this sub-par case.... I got this case for 40$ on sale and even THAT was too much. The case is now 60$ plus shipping; A ridiculous price for this sardine can, you are better off getting the Corsair 200 series case for 60 buck, it is WAY better than this...
