5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: I've had this case for 3 years now and just recently one of the fans crapped out on me. My liquid cooling radiator doesn't quite fit, but that's not the case's fault and I've made the necessary adjustments.

Cons: I'm not a fan of LEDs on fans... its a waste of energy. But this is more of a personal preference than an actual con.

5 out of 5 eggsRosewill CHALLENGER - Excellent Case

Pros: Perfect ATX Mid Tower Case. Plenty of bays for 5.25 and 2.5 drives or ssd's. Easy pop in and out rails. 3 stock fans, still going after almost 2 years and cooling case to 30C with an AMD Quad core 3.8GHZ processor. Like the simple plain design. Already own 2 and looking for a third if they come back in stock. Reasonably priced, another New Egg Great value.

Cons: NONE! NEW EGG Please re-stock this item.

Other Thoughts: It already comes with three fans, but you could add a fourth on the side panel if desired. I use a USB hub, but 4 ports in the front in lieu of 2 would have been nice. All in All I am very happy with the cooling performance and ease to work in side. There is also room to route cables behind the MB with access through the right side panel.

2 out of 5 eggsUpdated review-really unhappy

Pros: -Airflow
-Lightweight
-Price

Cons: -NO room for anything, especially cables, there is NO ROOM AT ALL on the back of the case for running cables.
-No hole on the top of the motherboard tray for running an EPS 8pin CPU power cable, so you end up having to drape it over the front of the motherboard...
-Flimsy construction

Other Thoughts: I am really really kicking myself right now for getting this thing. If you want a nice looking system inside this is NOT the case to get, you will have a rats nest of cables all over. If you do not care about having a clean build on the inside then go ahead and get this sub-par case.... I got this case for 40$ on sale and even THAT was too much. The case is now 60$ plus shipping; A ridiculous price for this sardine can, you are better off getting the Corsair 200 series case for 60 buck, it is WAY better than this...

4 out of 5 eggsgreat looking case!

Pros: Nice design, it's not that expensive, comes with 3 fans built right in
Has a 2.5"->3.5" HDD/SSD converting bracket!!
Well designed internally!

Cons: The clips for the front bezel are a tad weak. The top two half broke when I removed it, but I superglued the clips back on, so not that big of an issue.
There isn't a whole lot of space in the cable management side, it's a tad tight, but workable

3 out of 5 eggsGood case, Poor grounding

Pros: Good fans, good size and good case. Have used over 100 to 150+ of these in new computer builds for customers over the last 3 years. They currently are the only case I use.

Cons: The only con with this case is the front panel ports. I have used about 100 to 150+ of these cases in all the new system builds for customers. Every single one of them would at random times when plugging in anything into the front ports (USB, Headphones) would cause the system to crash and and blue screen or when setup in raid, to have the raid break because one of the drives would report as unplugged for about 6 sec.

After 3 years of this I have finally traced the problem to poor grounding. The front ports are not grounded to the case at all, so the only ground is the small wires that are plugged into the motherboard. So when a user would plug something in that had a static charge (Say from being in their pocket) then it would be an instant crash. Sometimes you would even see the metal spark. The front part of the case is all plastic, so the front port board isn't touching anything metal to the case. It would be a very very easy fix to just have a metal clip or ground wire from the front board to the metal of the case.

For now I have users simply touch what ever they are about to plug in and then touch the metal of the case to ground themselves and the usb device, getting rid of the static charge. When ever they do this there is never a problem. Or they can just plug into the USB on the back of the case on the motherboard, since it is properly grounded to the case.

I have looked at tons of other cases and mfg's and they ALL have the same problem of not being properly grounded on the front ports. Seems like all these cases come from the same factory, so hopefully someone will listen and get the front ports properly grounded :-)

Other Thoughts: I will continue to use this case as I do like the looks of it and how long the fans last. (The fans are all plugged into the motherboard and the motherboard controls the speed based on heat) so the fans are not running at full speed all the time and I have only had 2 or 3 fans out of all the cases go out in the last 3 years.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Excellent case and a great value. Multiple fans already installed, decent build construction, good airflow and dust filtration.

Cons: Front fan comes with a bright blue LED which can appear somewhat gaudy and be annoying if you plan to leave your computer on through the night. Can be disabled while retaining fan usage with a small amount of effort, but an easy option to simply turn it off would have been appreciated.

4 out of 5 eggssatisfied

Pros: Nice, compact case. Easy to install components. I like the side loading hdd bays, and tool free mounting rails. I would recommend to someone needing a basic case to fit in tight areas. The positioning of the front power and usb ports is perfect for easy access. space for additional fans.

Cons: The front usb ports are flimsy so be careful when plugging in cords. I had to reinforce the backside of that board later on. The front filter is difficult to clean and the fan itself developed a slight rattle over time. Its not a deal breaker, but wish it was quieter.

Other Thoughts: Overall an excellent case, minus the minor gripes. The interior layout is very well thought out and easy to maneuver within. At this price I would overlook the cons.

4 out of 5 eggsSatisfied

Pros: Overall, I'm quite pleased with the case, it is quite spacious, giving you room to expand. it comes with 3 fans preinstalled, along with room for two more along with water cooling capabilities. great first case

Cons: just like anything, it isn't perfect. if you don't have a modular PSU, then it can be a bit of a pain since there is limited space for spare wires. personally, I haven't had much success with the provided, have had two start to howl, which required replacing. wasn't caused by neglect because computer was cleaned at least once a month. finally, the orientation the HDD are installed does allow for a clean look, but requires the other side to be removed when replacing/adding drives, it wouldn't be an issue if that wasn't where you need to hide the excess cables.
