5 out of 5 eggsWord Can't Really Express The Size..

Pros: The reviews I've read had me wondering if I should get this tower or not. Large size, damages delivery, Bad RMA experiences, ect.
Guy and Gals, mine came to me almost flawless.. there was one mark on the bottom of the box, but I'm guessing it was due to factory movement. I'm certain that if it was any where else on the board, it would have been addressed. other then that, this case is a stand-alone doghouse.

Cons: None..

Other Thoughts: Not worth noting in CONS, but the front shroud is something of a mystery to me. I have yet been able to figure out how to open it, and release it's grip from the actual case. On top of this, the mesh where the drives are located, I'm thinking, is somewhat difficult to get off. I'm thinking that the front shroud has to be removed to get the mesh out. I yanked mine out to get the Disc drive seated.
All in all, this case is definitely worth the buy..

5 out of 5 eggsRosewill Blackhawk-Ultra

Pros: Tons of room!!!! Lots of air flow!! This thing can hold anything and everything, including the kitchen sink! Also this case is not as heavy as everyone keeps saying it is. It comes with a lot of great features and the case looks absolutely great! Good finish, great style and, it just feels like it belongs in the room. I highly recommend this case to anyone that is doing their first build. It gives you plenty of space to work and to make modifications. Also this case is ideal for allowing plenty of space for the heat to dissipate through out the entire case. Really good product from Rosewill.

Cons: The only con I have... now I have to find a computer desk to fit around this monster!!

5 out of 5 eggsExactly as advertised

Pros: A truly massive case. Perhaps the single best case for air cooling due to the potential for a huge amount of airflow.

Cons: The side panels are a bit of a pain to get back on.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you have room for this thing. Also it is understandably heavy. Great for me since it makes it impossible for my little brothers to try and run off with it XD

5 out of 5 eggsUpdate on my review

Pros: I just wanted to update.
I got a replacement and it was all good.
Good case, probably the best ;).

I do wanna note, you can mount the hard drives upside down if you wish, it's something I do but I wasn't sure you could when I ordered.
When I put it together I was happy to find you could do that.

Cons: Others have mentioned that the side panels are a pain to remove and put back on, that's true for me as well.
Not a huge deal though, perhaps in the future I'll figure what needs to be bent ever so slightly to get it to slide in all the way easy.
Otherwise you need to put some muscle into it to get it to close that final bit.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: how huge this thing is, i wanted a bigger tower now i got enough room for anything

Cons: side panels are a little finicky to stick in, probably due to the fact of how big it is. but not really a con, with enough force they get in just fine

Other Thoughts: i had a mid tower to hold my atx motherboard. i was so sick of how small it was, couldn't fit more than two hard drives terrible management and no air flow due to low cable management. moving to this was a gigantic achievement, great cable management, enough space to fit anything you need.......anything

5 out of 5 eggsEPIC!

Pros: Looks awesome, it's HUGE (fits giant motherboards or extras), good space for cable organization and GREAT for air-cooling.

Cons: Only 4 5.25" bays? :( Kind of lame that this gigantic case only has 4. I quickly learned that I need more than that but maybe that's just me.

Other Thoughts: Not really a con so I put it in other: Not great for water-cooling though it does have plenty of back-ports for some external water-cooling parts. Going to mount my 2 rads on the back (at 45 degree angles) because they don't really belong in this case. But that's what I bought, so not a con.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: HUGE case, and it supports any motherboard that I feel like throwing into it. Has plenty of fans that come with it; plus space for several more. Plus it has room for a full sized liquid cooling system. Plenty of space for expanding and tons of hard drives.

Cons: Need to find a desk large enough to fit it under, or a corner to hide it in.

Other Thoughts: Love the red/black mix. If you can find a power supply with red lights and throw in some red/black hardware then this thing is the sexiest thing in your house (unless you have a wife). I personally took out the red and put in green fans with green LEDs and a lime green/black motherboard with the Nvidia video cards; put still sexy as hell.

4 out of 5 eggsRosewill Blackjawk Ultra

Pros: This is a good case if you are looking to air cool your components. Supports ALL motherboard sizes and can hold up to like 18 fans. Has a mesh side window that can mount 9 120mm fans or 1 230mm. My only problem, doesn't have good water cooling space.

Cons: Came shipped damaged. This care is not for watercolours wanted high performance. Doesnt have much radiator mounting option but is very spacious for air coolers. Looses and egg do to lack of water cooling options.

4 out of 5 eggsRecommend

Pros: One of the main reason I bought this case is the simple straight lines, black industrial mesh look. Most cases overdo it by adding too much unnecessary design molding.

Most of the plus are already mentioned in other reviews:
(1) Size is big for normal computer uses, but perfect for performance/workstation needs. Very large space to accommodate my 12”x13” server m/b.
(2) Plenty of drive bays, backside PCI slots, USB ports, top & bottom space for 2 power supply units. Had to remove one of the topside fans so I could mount a second CPU liquid cooling loop.
(3) Nice sliding 3.5” bay caddies. Locks into place. But too much force will bend the handles.
(4) very low fan noise

Cons: Likewise, minus already mentioned in other reviews:
(1) My biggest gripe is the side panels. Typical slide & thumbscrew method. My panels are slightly warped, so every time I have to hold them firmly in place when sliding them back into place or pull hard to take them off. Could have been designed better, especially for this higher-end case.
Main reason to minus 1 egg.
(2) Missing 1 stand-off stud.
(3) Hard to take off front grill cover when adding items to 5” bays.
(4) Front power panel is on top. Good if your case is on the floor beneath or besides a desk, but I have it on the desktop, so I have to stand up to access it. Would have been nicer if they located it at the bevel between the top and front side.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case for the $

Pros: 1. Very large - will accommodate virtually any build.
2. Excellent cable management integrated into design.
3. Excellent airflow, lots of fans, top, bottom and side ventillation.
4. Steel construction = very sturdy chassis

Cons: The side access panel doors are a little tricky to take off and re-install, but nothing major.

Other Thoughts: First, this case is very large. This is definitely not a rack/shelf mounted unit...find a spot on your floor for it. The width is about normal, but I'm 6'1" and it hits me just above the knee. It's also very deep, probably about 1/3rd again deeper than most any other chassis I've run across. It has lots of fans (8 come with it) and from what I can tell, the airflow is very good. Lots of room inside. What impresses me the most is the way cable management is integrated into the chassis itself. After my build, I don't have a single cable crossing the MB - everything is tucked away neatly behind the cable management panel. I was able to mount the Rosewill 140mm fan to the rear of a Corsair H90 radiator and then use the Corsair 140 mm fan on the other side of the radiator to create a push/pull configuration. There was enough room/depth to the case to install that configuration on the rear of the chassis without interfering with MB components. The steel construction means it's heavy, but very solid. Once built, my computer weighs about 75 lbs. However, the supplied casters install without having to remove the pre-installed feet and make moving the case around a whole lot easier. The 3 pin fan power boards can also be moved inside the case to accommodate shorter cables, which turned out to be a life saver on my build. Overall, a very solid, very large and very nice case for the money.
