5 out of 5 eggsAbsolutely Gorgeous

Pros: Freaking enormous!
Solid, well-built
Multiple fans for those of us who prefer naturally aspirated things
Excessively well done cable management
Have so far gotten three separate "That thing is beautiful!" responses from my roommates
General wow factor for the cost

Cons: My only real issue is that the bars in the expansion slots tried very resolutely to prevent me from inserting my EVGA GTX 670 FTWs. However, braving a warranty violation, I removed said bars with my trusty pliers and all is well.

On a side note, I would gladly have paid an extra $50 for this thing to make R2-D2 sounds. The pics I found do NOT do this thing justice when the HDD lights are going nuts.

Other Thoughts: Kinda surprised that there would be so much effort involved trying to get gaming video cards in an obviously gaming-oriented case, but for $150 I could not be happier!

Also I admit to playing with the fan control knobs (I only hooked up one fan to each so far, may redo fans later) for the better part of 20 minutes. Sitting my case from my tower fan on low, I cannot hear my case with every fan pushing max.

My Build:

AMD FX-8350 Vishera 4.0GHz (4.2GHz Turbo)
ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX/GEN3 R2.0
2 x EVGA GeForce GTX 670 FTW+ 4GB
G.SKILL Sniper Series 32GB DDR3 1866
PC Power & Cooling Silencer Mk III Series 1200W Modular Power Supply
COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO
Rosewill THOR V2-White Edition
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Fedora/Ubuntu Live Sessions when I feel like it ;)
2 x ASUS VE247H 23.6" LED

Future adds:
SSD
Maybe watercooling if/when I get bored and decide to OC

4 out of 5 eggsThis thing is HUGE!!!

Pros: This case is enormous! Installing the motherboard was simple thanks to the over all size of the case. The three 230mm case fans are great for air flow and keeps everything running nice and cool. Cable management is a breeze thanks to all the rubber grommets. Installing the 5.25'' was very easy with the screw-less lock downs. Over all this is a great case IMO

Cons: The only con I have is this thing attracts dust like crazy. By the third day the front of my case was covered with dust due to the 230mm intake fan. I cleaned the dust off from the outside mesh screen and tried to take the front panel off to clean and to see how much dust may be getting through. Taking off the panel was a pain in the a**! The force it takes to pull the panel off was crazy. I had to pull so hard I ended up breaking five of the six the tabs off that holds it in place. Ive tried to contact Rosewill and Newegg to see about getting a new front panel but have yet heard back from either company.

Other Thoughts: I really like this case and would have given five eggs but the front panel issue has kept me from doing that. If I hear back from Newegg or Rosewill and am able to replace the front panel I will gladly update my review and give this case five eggs. I would recommend this case to anyone, but be warned. If you plan on taking the top and/or front panels off BE CAREFULL!!!

5 out of 5 eggsSuperb Full Tower

Pros: Wow! Nice features, looks, and plenty of room. I like the large 200mm side fan which blows directly over your VGA card(s). It really helps, paired w/ a 140mm rear fan--not to mention you will have plenty of other fans & ample room which also helps to keep things cool!

Form & function really come together well in this case! Steel is thick, tolerances are tight, making component assembly fun and effective.

Rubber grommets provide cable management and you can fit massive video cards in. Your PSU mounts on the bottom and draws air in from the bottom of case. I was used to mid-towers and thinking I needed to have my power supply on the top. Not here!! W/ a 200mm top fan blowing warm air up thru the top open/closeable vents, you now have extra room to work around your CPU heatsink/fan than previously allowed by your typical mid-tower design.

The fan controller has 2 dials/support 3 fans each, with nice chrome-tipped knobs for a touch of modernness. Plus the front top panel is very nice, with a lit THOR logo and twin white-colored HDD lights which look modern. The power button is substantial and requires a moderate touch to press it.

You can tuck & route all your extra cable behind the motherboard and seal it all up when you close that side panel.

I love the room I had when putting my components in this case!

Cons: I can't think of any...can't sleep in it?

Other Thoughts: This was my first venture into full-tower cases, and now that I've experienced this, I can say that I really enjoyed this purchase and having the extra room, neatness, & options. I really enjoy using this case. It will probably last me a while!

5 out of 5 eggsBeautiful but massive!

Pros: Tons of space for everything

excellent placement of fans and bays

Screwless everything!

Thumb screws for PCI cards

Beautiful and clean looking.

Perfect ventillation (system temps stays no more than 5 degress above room temp)

receded side panel makes cable concealment a breeze

Top vents for better pass through

Cons: This thing is freaking HUGE! it dwarfs my 47" monitor

fan wiring feels cheap and is very difficult to conceal!!!!

Other Thoughts: Probably the best case I have ever seen or owned.

A stunning looking case, that has tons of space for everything and makes it very easy to conceal most of your wires (except the stupid fan ones).

Everyone says this things is massive and you never really realize how big this thing is till you are face to face with this monster.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: This thing is huge (first time builder) and I'm liking its style.
Got my money's worth and satisfied

Cons: If only I had a bigger desk to set it on perfectly, but its nothing to dock an egg off for.

2 out of 5 eggsGot my RMA case

Pros: I'm the guy that sent in his case due to what I thought was a faulty fan controller

Same as before roomy and it looks cool. Those are the only positive things to be said.

Cons: Fan controller did not have much thought put into it. It runs the same voltage across all types of fans connected to it, so if you turn it down all the way any fan that takes more power than the back 140mm to run will shut off. Even the 120mm fan on my heatsink that I have plugged on the same controller as my 140mm turns off with the controller all the way down.

Seems to me a genius idea would have been that since it comes with two different sizes of fans to have each controller designed for each of those two fans, but that would have just made sense.

Instruction booklet that comes with the case claims the back expansion bays are tooless, which they are not.

Other Thoughts: After I recieved my RMA case and realized the fan controller worked the same I called up rosewill again, got the same tech guy, and this time he told me it was how it was supposed to work. So had to put everything back in my old case and ship my first one back for no reason. I was going to return it for a refund but they wanted me to pay to ship it, also the return had a rebate I hadn't filed yet figured in so I would have gotten less back, and I was tired of moving my parts around so much so I just decided to keep it.

This is the first and last product I will be buying from rosewill. Disappointed with the features and their tech support.

If you want a good full tower around this price range go with the Fractal Define Design XL R2. My buddy got it and it is great. Feels very sturdy all around and is a bit roomier.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,
Thank you very much for purchasing this unit.
We strive to provide the most reliable and highest quality products to our customers.

We do not recommend mixing different size fans on the same controller as you have noticed they will not work properly at different speed adjustments. Based on your response the best option is to go ahead and switch out which fans are connected to each controller to balance power distribution amongst each other.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case!

Pros: Sleek Design, More than enough room for upgrade, lots of ventilation, sturdy

Cons: Needs more room for cable storage on right side of case.
Heavy! though not too big of a deal for me, since i'm super buff! haha, just kidding

Other Thoughts: the only thing I would want different on it, is for there to be more room to stuff the mess of cables in the right side of the case. but it wasn't really that big of a deal for me.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good amount of room. Easily fit in my gtx 680 classified along with my 285 as a physx card. Fans are pretty quiet as well. Thumbscrews for the expansion slots were great. Good placing of the back panel grommets.

Cons: I honestly think I may have a defective case as I haven't seen anyone else mention this, but my fan controllers do not work well. If I hook up more than one fan to each controller and I have the knobs all the way down the fans completely shut off. I even hooked up just the back 140mm and my heatsink 120mm to a controller and only the back 140mm will run with it all the way down. It seems weird that the controllers can't even power the stock fans. Now if I plug them all in and turn the knobs all the way up I have no issue, but that defeats the purpose of the controller. I was confused to see that one controller has 2 out of 4 pins for a molex power plug, and the other has 3 of 4 pins. Also the actual fan connectors are only two pins.

Other Thoughts: I plan to contact rosewill on monday because I think I received a bad case. I hope I can get my issue resolved. The fan controller was a big decider for me as I saw quite a few similar cases but wanted a built in controller. If I get a case with a fully working controller I'll bump up the rating.
