4 out of 5 eggsSpacious and Clear Cut Tower

Pros: Room for all the goodies. Great wire management space compliments of the routing holes along the side of the case. Easy to use mount drawers for your hdd's.

Cons: The manual fan adjustments do not seem to work. Have to use BIOS settings for fans instead.

Other Thoughts: Manual does not inform you of the mounting holes for the motherboard not needing mounting screws. Just the three holes near the top of the case. Was wondering why connections were not lining up with the I/O shield properly and it was do to mounting screws that were not needed.

1 out of 5 eggs2nd time wasn't the charm....

Pros: It's a nice case!

Cons: I received my RMA'ed case yesterday. This time everything was intact and nothing was broken. There was just one big problem this time around. I couldn't get the left side panel off the case (facing the front) I tried to use a screw driver to pry it off....no go. I didn't want to damage it so I gave up after trying for about two hours.

I am done with this case and possible future Rosewill cases, as they have left a bad taste in my mouth and further delayed my clients build. I have asked for and RMA refund and will be looking to buy a different case. Sorry Rosewill, that's two defective cases in a row and I wanted everything to be perfect!

Other Thoughts: This is a nicely designed case and I was hoping to use it for my clients build. It could do without the vents on each side of the HD cage though.

5 out of 5 eggsMid-ATX price for Full Tower premiums

Pros: -- HUGE amount of space
-- the 3 fans it comes with turns this case into a pretty quiet wind tunnel
-- Nice cable management
-- Convenient filters on the bottom and foam filters on the front and top, makes this into a pretty clean case when in use
-- Really useful fan control knob for the 3 fans it comes with. Move your fans around to make the most out of this feature!
-- Liquid Cooling Ready

Cons: -- I literally scoured this entire case before AND after I built my rig. The only thing I could possibly mark as a Con, would be that its size might be impressive, but also could mean problems for the space concerned buyer, as it sticks out farther and taller than your average Mid-ATX

Other Thoughts: This case is a lifesaver for me as I like to tinker and add-on to my build. The added space helps for sight and really saves a bunch of time concerning yourself over size specifications for your internal parts. You might not have as much room overall for cable management, but at least you will find comfort in knowing that a vast majority of any part with wiring, will certainly reach its destination.

My first build case and I couldn't be happier!

1 out of 5 eggsBroken Case Rosewell R5

Pros: None so far. Have to RMA

Cons: Case arrived broken. Front face had 3 of 6 pins broken off. All 3 pins were still lodged into the main part of the case. It appears to have been dropped on the front left side, broken/cracked left corner, the face plate put back on the case, packaged up and shipped.

There is no way the damage happened in shipping. Truly upset as this delays a clients build.

Other Thoughts: It appears the case was damaged at the factory. Upon removing the case from the box I could hear rattling inside the case....not a good sign. I now have to RMA and pay for shipping the case back for a new one.

4 out of 5 eggsThat's No Moon...

Pros: Spacious interior with good airflow. It fits the largest of graphics cards and CPU fans/heatsinks. USB 2.0 and 3 ports on top of the case and in the rear provide plenty of options for connectivity and speed. Construction is sturdy and the rail-mount, side-facing hard drive cage is very handy.

Cons: This thing is HUGE! It's also very heavy. The power and reset buttons are on top of the case and raised from the bezel enough to where it's not difficult to accidentally reset or turn off your PC. It's got so many cable for the top panel connectors I eventually just gave up and tucked them away behind my mobo.

Other Thoughts: This case was a really good value for the money. Because it accommodates any hardware I could conceive of putting into it I can't imagine I'll ever replace it unless something breaks.

5 out of 5 eggsBirthday build

Pros: Very nice case to work in. No sharp corners or edges. Rubber grommets on all the electrical and SATA cabling made cable management sweet. No problems with amount of cables below/behind motherboard.

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggsGood Case

Pros: inside and outside are all black.
tool less drive bay instillation

Cons: Fan Control knob does nothing. Fan speeds do not adjust with it
You will need special screws/nuts/washers to install fans on the top
Instruction booklet useless.

Other Thoughts: I do not understand why the put fan filters on every fan port, then decided to drill extra holes in the sides with no filters.

Overall good case

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Filters, surprising amount of room - enough to fit a slim radiator above the chassis but under the top dust cover, affordable, looks good, good airflow, sturdy.

Cons: Limited space behind mobo tray for cable management, top fan control broke after a couple months .

Other Thoughts: At this price point, the thing can't be beat. It's held up very well, has sufficient room for slim radiators and water cooling, and comes with a more than reasonable amount of intake filters. I wish the hard drive cages were modular, and the panel gaps were a hair more consistent...but shoot for the price? All the sudden those things don't bother me.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I like the 4x fans filtered intake.

Cons: Poor quality control and cheap construction are a bad combination.

1. The left side panel is so tight you have to use a screw driver as a crowbar to get it off.

2. One of the rear corners of the top bezel is not connected to the case. You can pull it away a good half inch. I can't see what's wrong. I assume something is broken.

3. Both holes for one of the dual slot video card brackets are off by about 1/2 the hole width. It took all the strength I could muster with my left thumb and a screw driver with a screw taped to the end to get the first screw in. It took me half an hour to figure this method out. I'm not sure if this kind of pressure on the video card bracket is good. It might be better to leave the screws out and put a zip-tie through there instead.

4. I had trouble getting the power supply in too. The rubber cushioning stuff was covering one of the holes I needed.

5. A four pin fan connector will not connect to the three pin connectors that go to the fan control as they should per ATX standard. That's according to everything I read on the internet anyway.

6. All the mounting hardware is steel painted black.

7. There's nothing good about the all black interior. I would have never guessed but all that black sucks up light like a black hole. In a very well lit room I needed a flashlight to see how to orient a connector, read the stenciling on the motherboard, etc. A bright shiny interior would be better.

8. The top fan area has mounting holes for two 140mm fans but you can only get a 120mm fan in the front position because of a slight interference with the sheet metal. It looks like a design flaw. You could get a 140mm in there if you did a little work with a file or grinder before you started assembly.

Other Thoughts: I bought this case because it was highly recommended by a knowledgeable person. Apparently he didn't have the quality issues I had. If I'd only known I would have gladly paid twice the price for a quality case. It doesn't make sense to put $3,500 worth of delicate parts in a cheaply made case.

At first Rosewill offered to RMA the case but couldn't send me a new side panel. I explained that the side panel was at fault because the right side panel went on and off the left side of the case very easily. After a couple more emails they agreed to send me a side panel when one became available. When it finally arrived it was visibly badly bent and it wasn't damaged in shipping either. The huge box was very well padded and had no damage. I returned our lengthy email with pictures of the damaged panel and I haven't heard from them since. That's very unprofessional. They should have at least replied to explain their position instead of just blowing me off like that. I guess their support of their products has a cutoff point.
