3 out of 5 eggsOK, Could be better

This review is from: Rosewill LINE-M - Micro ATX Mini Tower Computer Case - Dual USB 3.0 Ports, Dual Fans Included, Supports Up to Four (4) Fans and Up to 12.5" (31mm) VGA Cards

Pros: Nice size, simple case. You get what you pay for. It's nice that it came with 2 fans. Decent looking case.

Cons: This case is missing holes for some Micro ATC Boards. This is the first time I have seen the absence of the holes for the mounts to support the motherboard. The mount for an SSD is nice, but the screws that come with it are the wrong thread, as SSD come with a fine thread, not a coarse thread as these screws have.

5 out of 5 eggsWell designed micro case

This review is from: Rosewill LINE-M - Micro ATX Mini Tower Computer Case - Dual USB 3.0 Ports, Dual Fans Included, Supports Up to Four (4) Fans and Up to 12.5" (31mm) VGA Cards

Pros: This case is very well made, not flimsy like other products I have read reviews on. I wanted to find a reasonably sturdy, plain-Jane normal looking case that was functional for my needs to build up a Micro Workstation and this one does that. First off this case has good access, the front fascia removes perfectly, no strong arm needed, which can pull wiring. It comes with 2 fans, which are both quiet, but one of them is clear with blue LED's, which I don't care for, I don't find wow factors with lights. I installed ASRock MB, AMD-8350 with Corsair H55 water cooler, AMD-W5100 graphics, 16GB memory, 2 SSD's, 2 DVD, one 3-1/2 card reader and a green 380W PS, all with no issue what so ever. I was amazed at the component clearance while building, everything fit perfect. I love the front fascia layout, it is very logical and functional. The upper half of is packed with the peripherals on/off button and port access, the bottom half is the air induction grille and intake fan. Good warranty with online product registration. Overall I think the price for functional quality is very good and if you are looking to build up a micro workstation, this unit may be the best out there?

Cons: These are all minor, not any real knock on the product just product improvement:
1. Make in other colors like gun metal grey or beige or model gray.
2. Color the power button or put an LED in the center, it is difficult to see it depending on location and lighting.
3. Scrap the clear LED Kidd fan and just provide 2 of the black fans.
4. Add a row of holes for additional MB support. I noted that the last row of provided case standoffs were about 25 mm to the right of the my mother board which did have addition stand-off hole locations along it;s right side, but did not line up with anything the mother board had. A solution wold have been to mark and drill the holes in the case and re-locate the existing stand-offs, but It wasn't truly required, just would have been nice.
5. Inlet grille dust filter, something that would sandwich between the fan and grille, so you could wash it off.

Other Thoughts: Offer an aluminum version of this design!

4 out of 5 eggsGood Case

This review is from: Rosewill LINE-M - Micro ATX Mini Tower Computer Case - Dual USB 3.0 Ports, Dual Fans Included, Supports Up to Four (4) Fans and Up to 12.5" (31mm) VGA Cards

Pros: nice size case (not too big, not too small); USB3 ports; access from both side panels; room for 4 fans.

Cons: side panels are a bit thin (flimsy) but not too bad.

Other Thoughts: on-time delivery (as promised) from Rosewill Superstore.

4 out of 5 eggsFair

This review is from: Rosewill LINE-M - Micro ATX Mini Tower Computer Case - Dual USB 3.0 Ports, Dual Fans Included, Supports Up to Four (4) Fans and Up to 12.5" (31mm) VGA Cards

Pros: Truly a mid-tower case. Front panel ports has both USB 2.0 and 3.0. Side panels are easily removable. Very silent.

Cons: Drive locking tabs does not line up with hard drive mounting holes. Had to use screws to secure the drive. Not enough drive slots. SSD slot is located at the bottom of the case and is too far from the power cable. Not enough SSD slots. One SSD slot is not sufficient as technology continues to advance. I was not able to use the same power connector to power other hard drives in the case. Now I have to use two cables. I have a modular power supply for a reason.

Other Thoughts: Overall the case is small and not bulky like some other supposedly mid-towers. If you don't have too many SSDs and HDDs this would be an ideal case.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Budget uATX Case

This review is from: Rosewill LINE-M - Micro ATX Mini Tower Computer Case - Dual USB 3.0 Ports, Dual Fans Included, Supports Up to Four (4) Fans and Up to 12.5" (31mm) VGA Cards

Pros: - Low profile 14.37" Height, very compact design
- Clean design, looks better than price
- Packed full of functionality
- Awesome cooling
- Liquid cooling AIO capable

Cons: - Cable management will be a challenge, but it's doable
- Old style top mounted PSU that exhausts hot air out of the case (but it's been fine for me for ~3 years)
- Included fans are low quality (but that's expected of a budget case)
- Slightly flimsy design (but consistent with price)

Other Thoughts: I have owned this case for close to 3 years now. When I first purchased, I was looking at this or the Silverstone TJ08 or this case. I was restricted by height (<15") and these two fit the bill. The TJ08 was $100 and this one was $50 at that time. I purchased this one, thinking it would be temporary.... Here I am almost 3 years later.

In this case, I am running:
- 125W AMD CPU Overclocked
- 120MM AIO Cooler. Contrary to what other reviewers indicated below, you can run an AIO here in multiple places. I have had my LQ-510 in the front and in the real fan positions. In the real position, you need to turn it upside down, but it has still kept my overclocked Phenom CPU cool for 3 years just fine.
- 3.5" card reader in the external 3.5" bay
- Blu-Ray burner in the top 5.25 bay
- SSD
- 2x3.5" HDDs
- Overclocked R9-280X (During the LiteCoin bubble, I mined in this case four 4 months without any cooling issues)
- 600W PSU

Try to find a uATX case today that can pack that much stuff in such a small package at this price.

Cable management will be tough. I fed all of the power cables through a very tight to a cavity that exists on the right side of the 5.25" Bays down to the 3.5" Bay. From there, I fed all cables to their location on the Motherboard or drives and bundled up the rest with cable ties. It was a challenge, but the end result is a VERY clean interior with no disruption to airflow.

The fans it came with are cheap and make more noise than needed. They are fine, but I upgraded to Noctua fans. When I was mining with the R9 280X, I installed 2 120mm fans on the side panel. The lower one was intake and the upper one exhaust. Cooling is not a problem at all.

In summary, this case has been well worth the $$. I am looking to upgrade, and I am having a tough time finding a replacement - it's been that good.

5 out of 5 eggsTruly a Mini Tower Legend

This review is from: Rosewill LINE-M - Micro ATX Mini Tower Computer Case - Dual USB 3.0 Ports, Dual Fans Included, Supports Up to Four (4) Fans and Up to 12.5" (31mm) VGA Cards

Pros: This case is small and is great for apartments and small rooms. It has magnificent cooling and enough space inside to fit a cooler master hyper 212 evo cpu cooler which is important because many mini towers do not. 2 extra usb 2.0 and 2 extra usb 3.0 on the front of the case! Its ascetically appealing and the front led fan looks great at night. All this and it is reasonably priced.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: This case is truly a legend when it comes to mini tower cases and it has so many features for a low price.

3 out of 5 eggsOk if you don't use all the space

This review is from: Rosewill LINE-M - Micro ATX Mini Tower Computer Case - Dual USB 3.0 Ports, Dual Fans Included, Supports Up to Four (4) Fans and Up to 12.5" (31mm) VGA Cards

Pros: Inexpensive, small.

Cons: Flimsy, no cushioning for the hard drives, no drive cage, no air flow over hard drives or SSD's, airflow impeded when fully cabled, no removable filter for the front fan.

Other Thoughts: If you have a minimal number of components, like a single optical drive and single hard drive and/or SSD, this would be a perfectly adequate box, but I have two optical drives, two hard drives, two SSD's and a 3.5" multi-card reader that fit if I take all of the bays, but cable management is extremely difficult, and I have a modular PSU. Airflow with all of this cabling is severely compromised. I see no point of including these bays if using them results in these problems.
