The truth is out there, and it's closer than you think. Logisys created the Area 51 mid-sized tower to bring out anyone's inner geek. They started with what was really important, and gave it substance. Four 5.25" and two 3.5" external drive bays are set and ready for action. The impressive five internal 3.5" drive bays will make sure that you won't run out of space for years to come. From inside out this case was designed around thumb screws to be sure that no one will ever again be stuck searching for tools to adjust one misplaced cable.

From there the exterior is but window dressing on the potential power within, but that makes it all the more important. State of the art hardware should be given a state of the art look. Logisys couldn’t agree more, and gave a case that will bring to mind every alien conspiracy theory ever heard. A look that is so iconic, and yet made to last.

  • newegg Superior Expandability with 11 Drive Bays Boasting four external 5.25" drive bays, two external and five internal 3.5" drive bays, the LOGISYS CS51WBK provides superior expandability.
  • newegg Transparent Side Panel Window The LOGISYS CS51WBK's fantastic transparent side panel window provides a direct view of the inner system. An 80mm fan with a blue LED improves interior airflow and looks simply amazing.

5 out of 5 eggsDecent / Good case!

Pros: People think this is an alienware when they come by my house. This is case I bought for my sisters first comp, it got outdated, had roaches and dust etc... Got it back years later and put all my "hand me downs" in it and it has awesome components that run BF3 on med-hi. Not going to go into specs, but even with it missing a drive bay closure and having to get a 2nd dvd drive to fill it in and with a major clean... people still give the alien glowing eyes and clear side case mad props for a good guest computer, always mistaking it for an Alienware! Nice case for big / small timin'!!!

Cons: Small

( Of course our main runs BF4 on 1920x1080 on a Vizio 3d 32 inch /w x4+ 120MM+ fans /w a ASUS ROG etc, etc... )

But this case is cool...

Other Thoughts: For what I spent, when I spent and for having it back now. Great case!

4 out of 5 eggsLoud Fan, Good beginner case.

Pros: This is my first build and its an Ok case.
Nice red LED.

Cons: The fan with the red LED is EXTREMELY loud, I highly suggest you find a replacement before you plug this thing in.
And the window is pretty bad as it can crack or create a hole inside your case.

2 out of 5 eggsWorks but NOT QUALITY!

Pros: I built my own tower and assembled it in my room and used this case about two years ago. The case still works as it did day 1 which is nice. The power supply is powerful enough to handle 2 disk drives, 1 2TB HD, 1 nvidia gtx 9800, lots of fans, and some other stuff i swap out frequently.

Cons: The problem is that SEVERAL of the ports did not work at all! Both the mic and headphones on the front are completely bad, and the ones on the back are just picky. The USB drives are upside down and i like my computer stuff perfect so this is a major pain for me. NOT ENOUGH SATA!! I had to buy 4pin to sata converters just to get my PC up and running 'cause everything i had just about was sata powered.

Other Thoughts: I would not recommend this case but it was a cheap combo and the power supply works so its not all bad. If you're on a budget, this will do.

5 out of 5 eggsCheap, Big, Quiet.

Pros: Large case, lots of space inside. I will be upgrading the power supply soon, but only because I need more wattage - the PSU built into the case is very nice. And best of all, the case is pretty sexy.

Cons: Metal plate on the inside bends when pressure is put on it. Doesn't effect anything, but it might freak you out or cause you to lose your cool if it happens while you're working on your motherboard.

3 out of 5 eggsIt looks cool, front usbs are annoying

Pros: Looks really awesome
Fits a pretty good range of boards

Cons: The front usbs were mounted upside-down so I try plugging something in and forget that I have to put it in the other way. I even messed up one already managing to get it in the wrong way O.o I tried turning them around, but they're like soldered in...
Power supply is a joke, they claim that it's 480 WATTS when it's really more like 230 and is an EXTREMELY basic power supply(only the 24pin, 4 pin and a couple sata and molex cables, no pcie), if you want a graphics card then you're gonna have to get a new power supply cuz it's just garbage.

Other Thoughts: This case will impress your not-too-computer-savvy friends, but it would require some work to get it to run right.

5 out of 5 eggscase 51

Pros: motherboard fit, power supply works, cool lights

Cons: only a 4 pin CPU power connector

Other Thoughts: I can get a 4 pin to 8 pin CPU power adapter so nothing to complain about.

3 out of 5 eggsOk for what it is

Pros: Nice looking inexpensive case. Strong blue led glow. 480w psu. Best thing about this case is the price.

Cons: Case didn't come with any sort of booklet. There weren't enough screws for everything there was. Only 1 80mm fan on the side. No tool-less design.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for a customers build and I think i was just expecting to much from it. Although for all it is and how much it costs its not bad at all.

3 out of 5 eggsAlright..

Pros: - Pretty
- Relatively cheap

Cons: - Several of the screws it came with were already stripped, making it incredibly difficult to remove them...

- The power supply doesn't have very many connectors, so I had to get a different one.

- Came with a very scratched side panel

- Came with one of the front LED panels cracked

Other Thoughts: It looks like a fantastic case for the price, but it came in poor shape and the power supply isn't very useful if you have a high end graphics card or lots of fans. Not enough to go through the trouble of returning it, but I wouldn't recommend it...
