4 out of 5 eggsCS206BK Case

Pros: Low cost. I purchased it from a local computer parts store but purchased all the other components from New Egg. I paid $19.99 for the case without a power supply so it wasn't a bad deal. So far it's worked really well except the case fan makes a little noise upon start-up after sleep mode.

Cons: Haven't found any yet except the noise from the fan that came installed in the case.

Other Thoughts: All other components from New Egg are working great. A great build for sure.

3 out of 5 eggsits ok

Pros: well it serves the purpose dont expect anything great though very think metal material

Cons: well this case can bend very easy but if ur not a knucle head u can work with it also the power supply does not have an 8 pin connector for motherboard it has only 4 pin so u need an adapter

Other Thoughts: its not a bad case but i wouldnt buy it alone as a case but if u get it in bundle u can make it work

1 out of 5 eggsCheap Quality

Pros: Inexpensive.
No complaints concerning the power supply.

Cons: This case is of very poor quality. The side cover warped in 2 weeks. It very difficult to get it back on after taking it off.

Other Thoughts: Not worth it.

3 out of 5 eggsGood for the price

Pros: Comes with a power supply, inexpensive

Cons: It is tough to complain about this case because I really did get what i paid for. But, here it goes.

The power supply only provides a 4 pin CPU power connector, only 2 SATA connectors (which I bought a Molex to SATA converter adding 2 more SATA connectors), and the fan began to make a terrible noise upon start up after a year of use. I eventually replaced the still working PSU after 2 years.

There ability to manage any cables in this case is zero.

I installed a Cooler Master Hyper 212 into this case and has since then been unable to put on the side case panel due to the case not being wide enough to support the heat sink.

I can only fit one 92mm fan throughout the entire case which is in the back.

Only came with enough screws to fit a disc drive and a HDD.

Other Thoughts: I have had this case for 2.5 years and am currently in the process of buying a new case due to upgrading. This case worked fairly well overall on a very low budget.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Home Computer

Pros: Case Fan not needed

Cons: Bad Case Fan

Other Thoughts: After about a week the case fan started making noise. I have run it for 6 months without it in the heat of Arizona with no problems.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Black, shiny, does manage to hold a motherboard and hard drive, at least for now.

Cons: Cases are so flimsy that all 3 were bent in shipping, I bent 2 of them back into shape, the third one I need to return. Even the power supply cases are extremely flimsy, I'm concerned that if any pressure is put on the case the circuit board inside might touch and short to the case. The only thing that isn't flimsy is the punchout for the backplate, those did not want to come out and I ended up cutting my hand trying to get one out.

Other Thoughts: I will not even consider buying another Logisys case or power supply. If these hadn't been part of a shell shocker deal, I would be returning them and buying something different right now.

2 out of 5 eggsCheap case, poorly designed PSU

Pros: The case itself isn't bad, though it isn't very sturdy. Plenty of space and bays for HDD and DVD drives.

Cons: The PSU has only one cable for SATA power which has very little length between the two connectors. Drives can be separated by no more than 2 or 3 bays, meaning you cannot have your DVD drive in the top bay unless you are using a 5 1/4" bay to mount your HDD as well. The single SATA cable also means you will not be able to install more than 2 SATA drives without an adapter for the 4-pin molex connectors.

The PSU also lacks the 6-pin connector for PCI-E graphics cards, which is a big drawback.

None of this information is provided in the product specifications or I would not have even bothered with this case.

The front panel of the case has popped out at one corner and will not stay pushed in. Its not a huge deal and doesn't affect anything but the appearance of the case when viewed from the side.

Other Thoughts: I got this as part of a supercombo deal. Fortunately, I am only using this system as a temporary replacement, so it meets my needs for the moment, though I had to buy an adapter to connect the 4-pin molex connectors to my graphics card.

1 out of 5 eggsDont buy

Pros: None - looks like a good case.

Cons: Had 2 of these with the usb port problems on the front panel. Why ship it back for $12 bucks. Was it my fault that only 1 port works. Sad I have a case I not use....

Other Thoughts: Wish they would offer a customer service liine for they could ship me a replacement part vs. me sending the whole case back. Really sad.

2 out of 5 eggsGetting what you pay for

Pros: This case is inexpensive, which is what I needed. There is sufficient room inside to mount a monster heat sink and an 80 mm fan, but the issue is very close.

Cons: You get what you pay for. The metal used in the construction of this case is somewhat better than cardboard, but only just (-1 Egg). You must be very gentle installing anything or you will twist and warp the thing out of true.

The power supply's 2 SATA connectors on the same wire lead length, and there is not enough distance to connect a CD drive in the top bay and a hard drive in the upper HD mounting bay (-1 Egg, there is no excuse to plan this poorly with all the excess 4 pin molex power connectors left floating around in the case). There is only a 4 pin CPU power connector.

Other Thoughts: I originally purchased two of these, one arrived in great shape, and taking care to be gentle with the install, everything went like clockwork once I rerouted the wires. The second one, not so much. It had to be returned because the entire face had detached/broken and it was twisted/warped about 3/4 an inch out of true. (-1 Egg)

NewEgg was fantastic about sending me out a replacement immediately, and the 3rd one arrived and went together as the first with appropriate care. If I had it to do over again, I would have probably gone for something with a bit larger of a price tag - but much sturdier.
