1 out of 5 eggsCheap

Pros: it's cheap

Cons: It's cheap. It came in a kit, so I didn't really get to choose it. As you would expect with a cheap case, the metal is flimsy, the sides are hard to off and on. The front feels like it's going to break trying to get it off. There is no wire management what so ever. There are sharp edges in the case. Seeing how it is at the lower end of the price range, we could have dealt with all of that however there are two huge issues with this case. 1.) the stand-off they give you don't fit the case. The male threads on the stand-offs are too large to screw into the female threads of the case. Luckily we had some standard stand-offs laying around to use. 2.) You cannot put a fan on the front of the case. They're may be enough physical space, and there are even mounting holes in the case for the front fan. However, they put the wiring the power switch and front LEDs right in front of the fan mounting location. The fan will rub on these wire making noise, and eventually destroying the wire.

Other Thoughts: We got three of these cases in combo deals. If we had the choice, we would not have ordered these case. Even though they are cheap, and we expect them to be cheap they fall even below the 'Cheap Case' standards. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

1 out of 5 eggsNot so great...

Pros: Comes with a power supply.
Comes with a power cord.
Kids liked playing in the box.

Cons: Not well built.
No USB 3.0.
Front panel not removable.
Flimsy/easy to bend metal, plastic feels brittle.
Sharp edges.
Screws float in the case during shipment, did one end up in power supply? I hope not!
Have some motherboard stand offs on hand, the ones it ships with are too large for the case holes and don't fit.
Once built with hardware in it, still doesn't feel very substantial.

Other Thoughts: I bought this as part of a combo so I didn't really get to "pick" the case I wanted. There was no bag of screws in the case, they were all floating around inside the case. Although the tiny little speaker you plug into the motherboard was in a small bag bouncing around in the case, if thats any consolation.

Power supply was tipped down in the case, mounting screws were all tight. Found that the flimsy "shelf" that power supply sits on was bent down. I was able to bend it back and the power supply mostly sits level now.

Power supply has two sata ports and 4 molex. Who uses molex any more? Also there is no 8 pin motherboard connection, I hope this board will operate on a 4 pin connection.

Front panel is not removable.

No USB 3.0 ports or header. Even if it was a an ultra cheap pass through like some have.

Included fan does not connect to the motherboard. I guess its a good thing the power supply has those molex connectors?

Front Panel cabling has a molex connector AND two pin to indicate power, very weird and old school to say the least.

I'm used to working inside Antec, Thermaltake, Inwin and mid tier Cooler Master cases. This case is no where near that level. For only being $15-$20 cheaper than a nice Inwin, there really is no excuse not to spend the money and get a better case.

If I didn't need to deliver this pc this week, I'd throw this case out and purchase an Inwin or a Thermaltake. :(

I tried to do my best to keep this fair and accurate all the while wanting to scream expletives as I built the pc.

4 out of 5 eggsGood case, newegg mistake?

Pros: Good solid case that is light and easy to work in.

Cons: The screws holding the sides on were very cheaply made and looked fairly terrible. I replaced them with better screws and had no other problems

Other Thoughts: This was bundled by newegg with a solid state drive that was 2.5". There is no place to install a 2.5" drive in this case, so I dont know if someone at newegg goofed when creating a bundle, but it was very difficult to get the drive secured in the case.

2 out of 5 eggsPSU not compatible with bundle

Pros: Case looks good, but is flimsy. Serves it's purpose.

Cons: The power supply included in the bundle I purchased is not compatible with the motherboard. There is only 1-12v rail while the board needs 1- 12v 8 pin for the APU. The power supply is not sufficient. What a let down!!!! I had to order another PSU that has the right 12v 8 pin connector. There's another $50.

Other Thoughts: Be aware of the power supply paired with the case. It is basically junk.
This is the first time I have been let down by newegg on a bundle. I won't purchase another one.

3 out of 5 eggsVery Cheap

Pros: It holds the right parts in the right places. Looks good closed up. The case fan is silent.

Cons: CHEAP!!!! The power supply bent the case in shipping making the entire case out of square. The PCI punch out slots will bend the case if you don't remove them slowly.; Some sharp edges inside but nothing terrible.

The power supply is junk, total of 7 outputs, 2 SATA, 2 molex, one floppy, 4 pin CPU, 24 pin MoBo. The molex connectors are junk, the pins flop around inside making it almost impossible to connect anything.

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for. The case is clean looking which helps get past the cons

3 out of 5 eggsGo with something a little better

Pros: Good case, has lots of room inside, nice front panel, durable, PCI fan and power supply are included

Cons: The power supply is mounted by a tiny little bendable piece of metal, and was bent downwards upon receiving it. The fan is small but seems to be alright. The case has a lot of space for hard drives and optical drives. Since I only needed one DVD drive, there is a ton of empty space inside. Not to mention the non-modular power supply is a mess. It also was missing a motherboard mount screw. Not a huge deal, though.

Other Thoughts: It's a good case for its price. However, if you are looking for a space-saving case that is a run for its money, this isn't the one. I thought buying the cheapest case possible was a good idea, but it's better to spend some money on it, since you probably won't be upgrading it very often.

4 out of 5 eggsCS206BK Case

Pros: Low cost. I purchased it from a local computer parts store but purchased all the other components from New Egg. I paid $19.99 for the case without a power supply so it wasn't a bad deal. So far it's worked really well except the case fan makes a little noise upon start-up after sleep mode.

Cons: Haven't found any yet except the noise from the fan that came installed in the case.

Other Thoughts: All other components from New Egg are working great. A great build for sure.

3 out of 5 eggsits ok

Pros: well it serves the purpose dont expect anything great though very think metal material

Cons: well this case can bend very easy but if ur not a knucle head u can work with it also the power supply does not have an 8 pin connector for motherboard it has only 4 pin so u need an adapter

Other Thoughts: its not a bad case but i wouldnt buy it alone as a case but if u get it in bundle u can make it work
