2 out of 5 eggssemi-toolless

Pros: Cheap. lots of ventilation. Top USB/IO ports

Cons: only supports 2 full size, and 2 3.5" internal, as they do not supply a full compliment of the "toolless" connectors. If you look at the images, you will see where the top two of both internal cages have the connector, and the others are empty. This is not a mistake in the picture, that is how they come.

Other Thoughts: Not a fan of the 90degree hard drive mounts. For a cheap system, where you have one HD and one DVD, it requires the SATA power to be either a bit longer, or you have to put the DVD at the bottom in order to reach. If they were all lined up as "normal", then the cable from the power supply could reach more. Mind you, if you have a decent PS, then this would be less of an issue, but given how cheap the case is, typically it would be paired with a cheap PS.

1 out of 5 eggsCS2008XBX unacceptable

Pros: Inexpensive, bottom PS, HDs installed from the side, USB connections at top of the case.

Cons: HDs are only attached on one side; HDs mount at an angle; provisions to mount only two HDs!! Must bend the walls, that support the HDs, outward to get a HD to slide in.

Other Thoughts: Very strange to make provisions for 5 3.5 inch devices and only provide necessary attachments for two 3.5 inch devices?!

2 out of 5 eggsMade things a bit difficult

Pros: Price. Lots of places to put fans?

Cons: Mother board standoffs strip out very easily.
Not enough room to properly install the top rear fan. Runs into the motherboard.
The quick mounts for the drives need longer pins. Had to screw in the blue ray player or you could just slide it out.

Other Thoughts: Very small case. Might work better with a mini board.
Even at that I would spend a few more bucks and get a better quality case unless you have more time then money.
3 eggs off for mb standoffs mounted into such a thin tray they strip before you get the screws all the way down.

5 out of 5 eggsNot too shabby...

Pros: Well designed case with plenty of airflow. I like the two usb ports right on top. I also liked the recessed power button. You really have to intend to push it so good for avoiding accidentally turning it off. The reset button is more like the reset button on your router: small button you push in with a pen. It's not as small as it is on your router, however so it's not a pain or anything. Lets, see...oh yea, the HDD light is a really small red LED. I like that too as it doesn't light up the whole room with that annoying flash. You hardly notice it unless you look right at it which is great. It's a very low profile kinda case and with all black bezels on my drives it looks great. Black. Subtle. It comes with plenty of screws and a really big quite fan.

Cons: Since I'm forced by NE to list something here, I'll just say that the quality isn't the best buy you know that. still good tho.

Other Thoughts: I don't think that it's an issue with the case, but with the bottom mounted power supply (which is cool, i guess) and the location of the motherboard, the cables on my power supply weren't long enough. I had to get an ATX extension so the big plug would reach.

3 out of 5 eggsGood for the money

Pros: Cheap (as in cost). Not as chintzy as the price would imply. Case fan is pretty quiet, plus room is included for many other fans. Rubber feet are included to isolate the power supply.

Cons: Bent motherboard standoff (was able to coax back into place). The "tool-less" drive bays were mis-named: Actually, they were *designed* by a tool. (Cheezy plastic drive holders hold on one side only -- the other side's held by bendy tabs that do nothing to keep the drive in place; *plus*, only 2 holders were included for 5 HDD bays; 2 were included for 4 5.25" bays.) Bottom drive bay can only be properly secured with the power supply removed.

Box implies a filter's included for the power supply fan, but it isn't.

Finally, as others have noted, the covers at the back of the case for PCI cards cannot be replaced after removing.

4 out of 5 eggsCant decide

Pros: looks better than what it does in the picture, everything you would want from an expensive case all packed into a budget one.

Cons: the only con i have is that my case wires caught fire on about the 6th or 7th use.

Other Thoughts: i would definitely buy again if i needed to, but would also be cautious about leaving it on while not near it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case For a Great Price

Pros: Everything went together great.

Cons: No support for the outer edge on my mATX biostar board.

Other Thoughts: This s a great case. It seems to be of higher quality construction than a lo of the cases I have seen in this price range. The full mesh front and lots of mesh on the top and sides offer a lot of ventilation.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfects blend.

Pros: Good size, great full black color, perfect amount of fan mounts (two top, one rear, one front, two bottom but one is for the bottom mounted PSU)
And the 90° drive bays are really easy to work with. There is actually some good wire routing behind the motherboard, the other side does come Pretty sturdy with all components installed, and over all a good design.

Cons: It took some customizing for my cheap a**, but the top mounted fans need to be ultra thin our they'll interfere with a full ATX boards RAM and CPU heat sink.

Other Thoughts: It would have been great if they offered tool less drive clips on all of the slots not just half of them. Minor draw back compared to the price though.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat budget case!!!

Pros: Wow.... Room for 6 120mm fans, The whole front panel is a vent. Quick locks for drive bays, bottom mounted power supply. Seems like it should have cost a lot more, very nice case. Could contend with more expensive cases easy.

Cons: Not enough quick connects that hold the drives in, I already ran out with 2 drives to spare.

Other Thoughts: Great case, low price, can't beat it!! Would recommend highly...

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Buy

Pros: A great economical case. The all black case (including inside) has a great look and has many of the features that a higher-end case would include. There's plenty of ventilation and case fan mounts to keep the interior cool with good airflow. The tool-less design for the drive bays is handy and feels pretty secure. Also, the front mesh dvd panel covers are a nifty design feature that can help give a little extra ventilation and adds to the appearance of the case. It's definitely nice that there's an access hole on the motherboard tray to change cpu fans when needed and the bottom mounted power supply is always a plus.

Cons: I don't really have any cons.

Other Thoughts: For the price, it's a great buy + a little more. There seems to be a little concern with the metal casing feeling a little thinner than some cases, but it's definitely more than enough to support a fully stocked computer. I would definitely recommend this case.
