Pros: Tower can be converted to rack mount; hot swappable components such as fans, hard drives, power supplies; 3 redundant power supplies; 2 front USB ports; lockable front latch; no need for SATA power cables; includes a few SATA cables;

Cons: Very heavy; VERY VERY loud fans - can be distracting; cables from fan and PSU's are a little short; Inserting motherboard can be a tight squeeze! A bit expensive, but well worth it for mission critical

Other Thoughts: Literally took me 2-hours to figure out how all the components work and how to put things in and out. Tips: Plug in all 3 of your power cords or else the tower makes a constant beeping noise to let you know that a power supply is out. No need to purchase SATA power cables. The SATA card in the case is powered by 2 standard 4-pin PSU. Plastic clear airflow extension only works if you have heatsinks. If you have heatsinks and fan, it won't fit!

Pros: This case is the best I have ever worked with. Strong and well built. Well worth the money

Cons: Internal fans a little loud - but this is a server case...
Case is heavy (not sure if that's a pro or con....)

Other Thoughts: They don't any better than this Supermicro case. Especially the triple-redundant PSU

Decent case but incomplete

Pros: Solid chassis
Decent backplane

Cons: Incomplete cables
Top is held on poorly (cheap plastic clip)
Poor tech support (indifferent but will sell you the needed cables at a nice markup).

Other Thoughts: I will not buy supermicro anymore since their cases do not seem to come with necessary cables (plan an extra 3-4days and $50 to get the necessary cables). Too bad since the general chassis build seems solid.
