Pros: What makes this an "HTPC" case? It actually looks nice and compact in the product image but it's seriously big a clunky and heavy.

I'm trying to find a "go to" mini and micro case but almost every case I've ordered from newegg has let me down.

I give it 2 stars because it works but the image feels misleading.. They need to throw something in these pics to get an idea of the scale..

Cons: It's too large for an HTPC.

Other Thoughts: I wish there was a store with reasonably priced customizable cases. Even if it's just a large selection of "bare bone" cases. Cases that your just dropping the motherboard and power supply in..

I need a small/compact case that can fit the mobo, hard drive, power supply and maybe a fan.. Nothing else.. Oh and if it could be $50 (or less) it would be a miracle!

Pros: Great case. Love that it comes with a power supply. Easy to work with.

Cons: If you plan on putting this into a TV stand (like you would a cable box) CHECK THE DEPTH. most TV stands are 15 " deep and this is 17" deep, plus cords.

Other Thoughts: I cut open a hole on the back of my TV stand, but I really did not want to. I would buy again if not using it in a stand.

Pros: slick HTPC case, its small and tight... so yea get ready installing stuff could be a little strange, but that is a given with small mATX stuff.

The manual says you gota pop the front face off for optical drive install.. you DO NOT, just take it easy and it will slip right in with a light push without having to pull the face off.

Cons: none.

I will say when i pulled all the cables out my board power cable was a complete rats nest....but no biggie when its all put together you are shoving the cables in anyway :-P

Pros: 3 stars does not mean I am dis-satisfied with my purchase. You get what you pay for and we build the cheapest HTPC possible at the time using this case. This is our main home HTPC and has been for 4 years now. Getting the lid off is easy and accessing everything is easy. Everything isn't too tight of a fit. FYI you are buying a low profile case of course so be sure to buy the correct PCI cards for the job.

Cons: Air intake is such that it gets really dirty inside. One of the case fans failed. The hard drives get roasting hot and there's really no way to place it or get fans to blow on it, so I had to go ahead and remove the second hard drive and replace it with a fan that blows directly on the hard drive. The power supply failed. I purchased a replacement but made sure to purchase a different brand, the reviews on the exact replacement power supply were poor. Long story short, this power supply WILL fail, and when it does, purchase the Rosewill SL-300TFX power supply instead. When laying flat on its side you cannot open the cover to the DVD drive (nor access the power button).

Pros: Clean looking, slim case. Hard drive caddy makes for easy removal. good airflow

Cons: little noisy for an HTPC. crowded cabling. Because of the way the front panel hinges you cant open it when laying on in its side unless hanging over the edge or it lifts up the entire computer.

Other Thoughts: Ran well and worked great for a while. After about a year the fan in the PSU started making a ton of noise and died. Still trying to find a replacement so as of now the entire HTPC is unusable.

Pros: Bought this case Feb 2009 and the sleeve bearing PSU fan just died tonight, 4/30/15. This HTPC is on about 8 hours per day and the fan was horizontal for most of these 6 years. PSU got hot and shutdown, seems to still be functional, I hacked together an old P4 CPU fan and got it running again, no issues for the last couple of hours.

Cons: The low front USB ports leave USB dongles in danger. One time, I completely obliterated a keyboard dongle while vacuuming.

Other Thoughts: If you end up having to replace this fan, just be prepared to snip the fan wires in the PSU because the 2-pin connector is really hard to get at without a lot more dis-assembly. And, obviously, opening the PSU voids your warranty but I'm well passed that anyway.

Pros: im building my little bro who is 10 for his birthday im making him a pc to game on is it big enough to fit one of my old gpus in it the gpu is a Asus r7 260x and is powersupply removable im only 15 but ik how to put pcs together and my way around it any recommendations for small compacts cases

Pros: Great design, stylish, not a difficult build, people like it.

Cons: The power supplies have been a problem. I've ordered 20 of these so far this year and 4 power supplies have failed on the build bench and another in a customer's home. That's a 25% failure rate - not acceptable. The only way to RMA the power supply is to RMA the whole case. Once the build is done, who wants to go through that.

Other Thoughts: A replacement power supply is available and has been, so far, very reliable: SL-300TFX - use the method of your choosing to search for it. They're about thirty-five bucks.

Cons: easily scratches, front USB easily crushed and damaged., internal placement of hard drive cumbersome doesnt make sense

Other Thoughts: i dont like this case at all
