5 out of 5 eggsI have no idea why did you discontinue this outstanding case

Pros: Look
Tool less design
Outstanding for overclocking
Outstanding for water cooling
CMOS reset button outside the case
4 USB on top panel as well as eSATA, reset, power and mic, headphones.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: Bring it back. I have never seen better case in my 25+ years experience as a computer tech and avid gamer.
For overclockers this case is a must.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Case, minor issues

Pros: The Amoris 6010 is a nice case. The apperance is really nice. The blue led's give off a soft glow that is not overpowering. The top ports are easy to access. The twin door configuration is a nice cosmetic feature. The interior is spacious, with plenty of upgradability. The case comes well packaged and is of sturdy construction.

Cons: This case is huge, but there is a reason they call it a mid tower. You cannot remove any of the upper 3.25 drives without removing the memory. Furthermore, the quality of design in the no tools features is lacking. I was able to get all of those features to work, but they took quite a bit of effort to get them to lockdown effectively. Strong fingered manipulations that I suspect will not provide lasting durability. Additionally, I find the side mounted lower 3.25 drive bays inconvienent with the power connectors placed behind the drives. The power button leads are too short for the case. They will reach, but the audio leads have to cross over the motherboard. Finally, the documentation is limited. I have yet to figure out the CMOS reset configuration, which I just left disconnected. We'll figure it out at a later date.

Other Thoughts: Over-all, if your looking for a lan-party case, I would buy something else. But, if you have the room for a large case, that looks nice and is easily upgradable, I would recommend this case.

4 out of 5 eggsGood first case

Pros: Sturdy and roomy with good looks. Recommended by my experienced builder brother as a first build case. I had no trouble getting my clumsy hands inside to reach things. The front and rear fans seem to move air efficiently and quietly. I am not a gamer with no plans to add more cards or cooling but there is plenty of room to accommodate either.

Cons: The case must stand alone to allow the front doors to open to the sides. You can't place it up against a desk of cabinet. It feels a little "tippy" and could use wider feet on a carpeted floor. It is considerably heavier than the old Dell it replaces but that is to be expected from a larger steel box.

Other Thoughts: Instructions for the tool-less bays are just diagrams showing how to operate the two different plastic releases. We did mount a HD and optical drive in the bays with no problems and routed some cables around the back of the mobo using the clips in the case. I like the top mounted switches, USBs, audio jacks and external Sata.

1 out of 5 eggsWorst case i have ever used

Pros: looks good, Steel is strong and light

Cons: Everything else

Other Thoughts: The tooless design is frusterating at best, and every component i tried to install took me at least 20 minutes to try and jimmy into place, if it even fit at all. To install anythin you have to practically strip down the entire case, and front bezel, which by the way feels like a snap together model. No precision, it just felt like junk. Once i got everything that i didn't smash or desroy installed into the case, i fired it up and the bezel rubs the front cooling fan, very annoying i have to run this with the front half popped off. Save your money and your sanity, buy something else

5 out of 5 eggsWow

Pros: I was really looking forward to getting this case and a bunch of cool stuff to put in it... and I was not let down. Everything went in wonderfully for my first from-scratch build. Pretty much silent, great air flow, and pretty easy to use. Looks are top notch. Easy to figure out, even for someone fairly new to building.

Cons: Jealous roommates.

Other Thoughts: Instructions were not super clear, but not difficult enough to figure out that it would be a problem. And man does it look great. Great service Newegg!

4 out of 5 eggsAPEX Case

Pros: Great looking, excellent air flow and for once, a case that has actual wires that when plugged into the motherboard for the USB on top of case, they work!

Cons: Tool-less design is flawed in bay connection area. The clips did not hold the graphics card in place, so I removed the entire tool-less attachment and connected the card traditionally.

Other Thoughts: The air flow is superb! If not for the design flaw in the tool-less bay section of the case, the case design and look would have been rated 5 eggs.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mid-tower case

Pros: This case is probably one of the best I have seen in over 20 years of building and repairing computers. It has lots of room, excellent cooling, and even a CMOS dump switch on the back.

Cons: None really, but it is a pretty heavy case.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a quality case, I would highly recommend this one. Check the dimensions against the space you have, as this is somewhat larger than most midtowers.

5 out of 5 eggsBest case I have ever had

Pros: Quality, outstanding packaging (plastic wraps around the case), superior dramatic look, LEDs are not too bright, fantastic switches and USB ports on top, plenty room for any mainboard and any graphic card.
Very easy and without any tools installation of hard drives and DVD Drives.
Cable management holes in my opinion are sufficient.
eSATA port on top of the case.
CMOS switch installed on the back.

Cons: None found yet.

Other Thoughts: I think you can't go wrong with this case. I was shocked by the quality of it. Above that each side of the case is wrapped in plastic foil (to prevent scratching during transport).
I will definitely recommend it to anyone who doesn't like too much lights and whistles but simple and good quality case with extraordinary look and finish.
