4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap, good looking, PS very silent for the price with a 120 mm fan.

Cons: One threaded hole is missing to screw a mico ATX motherboard.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Case

Pros: Nothing really to knock an egg off for. Nice to work with, very sturdy and solid...a bit more so than other APEX cases. USB3 front outs is a nice touch. I've use 3 or 4 now and like them. They're a bit more than I'd like but I personally think they're worth it. These are about 8 bucks more (with shipping) than the usual Apex's I get but again, it's just a few little things that make it worth it.

Their 300w power supplies are fairly reliable and trouble free for normal use.

Cons: Couple of minor ones. PS would be nice if it had dual 4 pins connectors for the CPU however if you are planning to overclock and/or push the CPU you'd be better served with a larger power supply.
* There's no place to mount an SSD without using a adapter bracket. No problems if your SSD comes with one but if you're going that route then make sure it has one or you buy one at the same time. BYTECC's seem to work fine.

Other Thoughts: Overall good value case and great quality for the price.

2 out of 5 eggsSeems like a nice case with one nasty flaw

Pros: Seems like a nice case, but I can't really evaluate it because I can't use it for the purpose I bought it for, as a cheap home file server..

Cons: ... because it has one flaw that's fatal at the moment: the cable for the front panel connector is unusually short and won't reach all the way to the back or towards the bottom of the case.

That would normally be fine, but in the new motherboard I bought specifically for this case, those connectors aren't on the front edge of the board as usual, they're down on its bottom edge towards the back of the case. This means that the front panel cable on the case WON'T REACH, so I can't plug in a few important connectors like, just for example, the power and reset switch!

Other Thoughts: I'm knocking major points off my reviews for both the case and the motherboard. This is a serious design flaw in both, which happened to combine to make the combination completely unusable, and unless you know about the potential problem and are sure of the jumper layout on the mobo you'll use in this case, it could bite you too.

Since shipping cost me almost as much as the case did, there's no point my paying that much again to ship it back for a refund; similarly for the motherboard. Basically I'm hosed and need to replace one or the other and hope for the best.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Decent Little Case

Pros: Light weight
USB 3 on front
Good ventilation
Unubtrusive front LED's
Lots of extra screws, hardware

Cons: Limited instructions-documentation

Other Thoughts: All told a decent small light case for a budget build. I did manage to find the only sharp edge on the entire case. Here's a tip: Don't pick it up by the rear opening for the motherboard. It's razor sharp!

5 out of 5 eggsSlick MicroATX case w/ USB 3.0

Pros: -Slick and simple design; none of these weird gamer designs and angles on a lot of other MicroATX cases

-USB 3.0 front panel is a huge plus. Amazing how hard it is to find these on MicroATX

-Great price with the included power supply. You'll be hard pressed to find a better deal for this kind of quality

-Very light. I might just be used to my mid-tower w/ 850W PSU but this thing is dang light, even for small form-factor cases

Cons: -Non-modular PSU. Expected but still annoying to have those cords everywhere. You'll use all of them up with a single optical drive and hard drive though.

-Loud. Didn't notice it at first, but once I got it up and running in a nice, quiet room, it felt really loud

Other Thoughts: All around great case for a nice, low-end build. the 300W PSU is low quality, but plenty good if you're doing a simple, cheap build like me. Really good deal to keep you under budget too.

5 out of 5 eggsNice solid case - well made

Pros: Nice quality case - nothing fancy but it does the job. The edges are nice an clean with no sharp edges - you can move the cables around without worry because you won't slice up your fingers on this case. Case is sturdy even with no components in it. The side panel fits well and aligns perfectly with the case. Nice easy to install bays for drives and DVD/bluray reader/writer.

Cons: None (mine did not come with a PSU but this is not a con as I use quality PSU). One odd thing is this case was missing some motherboard standoffs - no holes and no support for the back corner of the motherboard. Odd, but not a big deal since the only connector in the back corner is the SATA drives. Regardless, need to be careful when working around this back corner to not put pressure on the motherboard. See other thoughts

Other Thoughts: I bought this from a major vendor as an open box for a steal - less than 20 bucks with shipping. It was returned because the manufacturer mistakenly put this case in a Vortex case. The person returned it because they ordered a Vortex case. They should have kept this case because I had the Vortex and this case is, by far, superior. Nothing fancy on the inside but there is plenty of room to tuck your cables. The outside finish is nice, but the inside is unpainted and your standard shiny metal.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little case

Pros: Good looking uATX mini tower with USB 3.0! The PSU is more than adequate for most uATX builds at 300W.

This will be the standard tower case for my customer builds.

Cons: None found

Other Thoughts: There are a LOT of cheap and/or cheesy looking cases to choose from. Case manufacturers need to make more like THIS. Look at the competition (i.e. Dell Optiplex) and give builders some better looking options, PLEASE!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Budget USB 3 case

Pros: Good overall quality for low wattage CPUs (with included 300Watt PS). Very pleased.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I've used this case on two builts with AMD FM2 low wattage CPUs in the last two months with zero problems. Everyone is happy!

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent case

Pros: Well-built case, with a high gloss front face. From what I can tell, the only plastic portion of this case is the removable front panel. Everything else is steel.

The LED power and HDD lights are not in-your-face bright; these are integrated into the power and reset buttons, respectively.

Cons: Only 5 standoff holes for micro-ATX motherboards. The one that was missing is at motherboard bottom, toward front of computer.

It seems that a hole cannot go here due to a steel seam in the case. It would have been nice if a plastic leg was included to provide additional support between the motherboard and case at this location.

I did complete this build while carefully supporting the lower front corner of the motherboard as needed (plugging in SATA cables and front panel connections) . No functional issues occurred, hence no eggs removed.

Other Thoughts: This is an excellent case to consider if front USB 3.0 ports are desired.
