5 out of 5 eggsBetter than I thought

Pros: standard micro atx size that doesn't look like an alien designed pseudo gaming case
2x front usb 3
300w psu, TOP mounted
Surprisingly robust for such a thin case!
For the price I have paid I am pleased, it's better than I expected.

Cons: Lacks some cable management features.
metal is THIN. Once components are installed it feels sturdier.
It's not free.

Other Thoughts: Built a micro atx system with optical drive, 4 hdd, fanless vga (huge heatsink), pcie-wifi. And it works well! system is used as HTPC and office use and runs perfectly on stock PSU (for now). I don't mind a top PSU: serves as an exhaust for heat.

4 out of 5 eggspretty good case for price!

Pros: very inexpensive! USB 3 on front with a header, 300W PSU, corners arent too sharp, fairly easy to build in

Cons: the only minor gripe I would have for it are the PLED and HDDLED. After building the whole system, I thought I had them backwards as I couldnt see them. Come to find out, they were connected correctly, you just have to be right in front of the case to see them. Thus only 4 eggs instead of 5

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: Case is great. Lots of room to fit more then a couple hdds as well as a nice video card size. Love that fact that it comes with USB 3.0 for the front of the case! Power supply is ok.

Cons: Power supply only has 2 sata connectors. Needed to buy a splitter to add another hdd.

2 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: Nice size, Good Look. No problem with front panel cables reaching necessary placement on the Motherboard. Felt fairly sturdy with everything installed but still quite light.

Cons: Power Supply was DOA. sending back for refund.

Other Thoughts: I imagine I would have been quite happy with it if it worked. Alas it did not so I shall move on to another product.

5 out of 5 eggsgood case

Pros: great micro atx case.. it is micro atx only, will not fit any other like as in the atx cases that goes both ways,, who ever said the usb3 cord is too short is smoking crack.. it's great. fits perfect only thing is if you are buying an ssd, it does not have a mounting place need to purchase separately. psu doesn't have 8 pin. all around good case for the money!!!

Cons: could have done better in looks but works great.

4 out of 5 eggsNice basic case

Pros: Nice looking. Light weight. Easy to work in. Has USB 3.0 front panel 19 pin connector. Power supply has just the right amount of connectors for a basic home/office PC. Added a 120 mm fan to the front for improved cooling.

Cons: VERY thin metal used throughout the case, but feels pretty sturdy once HDD and optical drive are installed. Front panel USB 3.0 ports are upside down. HDD and power LEDs are dim to the point that I thought they weren't working until I looked closer. That might be a pro for some people.

Other Thoughts: Overall, for the price, it's a great case. Perfect for a home/office setup. Would be a decent case for a budget gaming case if a different PSU was used.

2 out of 5 eggsBe Carful

Pros: Smart looking case. Easy space inside to work with components.

Cons: Front panel connectors are WAY too short, can't reach the front panel pins on my motherboard. This is a serious problem as newer MBs have different configurations, particularly in the micro-ATX format.

MB rear panel hole too big, all rear panel plates I tried fell right out.

Other Thoughts: Could have been a great budget case, but they cut their pennies in some odd places, and that makes it difficult to work with.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap, good looking, PS very silent for the price with a 120 mm fan.

Cons: One threaded hole is missing to screw a mico ATX motherboard.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Case

Pros: Nothing really to knock an egg off for. Nice to work with, very sturdy and solid...a bit more so than other APEX cases. USB3 front outs is a nice touch. I've use 3 or 4 now and like them. They're a bit more than I'd like but I personally think they're worth it. These are about 8 bucks more (with shipping) than the usual Apex's I get but again, it's just a few little things that make it worth it.

Their 300w power supplies are fairly reliable and trouble free for normal use.

Cons: Couple of minor ones. PS would be nice if it had dual 4 pins connectors for the CPU however if you are planning to overclock and/or push the CPU you'd be better served with a larger power supply.
* There's no place to mount an SSD without using a adapter bracket. No problems if your SSD comes with one but if you're going that route then make sure it has one or you buy one at the same time. BYTECC's seem to work fine.

Other Thoughts: Overall good value case and great quality for the price.

2 out of 5 eggsSeems like a nice case with one nasty flaw

Pros: Seems like a nice case, but I can't really evaluate it because I can't use it for the purpose I bought it for, as a cheap home file server..

Cons: ... because it has one flaw that's fatal at the moment: the cable for the front panel connector is unusually short and won't reach all the way to the back or towards the bottom of the case.

That would normally be fine, but in the new motherboard I bought specifically for this case, those connectors aren't on the front edge of the board as usual, they're down on its bottom edge towards the back of the case. This means that the front panel cable on the case WON'T REACH, so I can't plug in a few important connectors like, just for example, the power and reset switch!

Other Thoughts: I'm knocking major points off my reviews for both the case and the motherboard. This is a serious design flaw in both, which happened to combine to make the combination completely unusable, and unless you know about the potential problem and are sure of the jumper layout on the mobo you'll use in this case, it could bite you too.

Since shipping cost me almost as much as the case did, there's no point my paying that much again to ship it back for a refund; similarly for the motherboard. Basically I'm hosed and need to replace one or the other and hope for the best.
