5 out of 5 eggsSolid case for the money

Pros: I haven't had any issues with the PSU and the fan is quiet. Some other users got DOAs but thats just going to happen with any sort of consumer grade electronics at this price point. It has a 3.5" drive spot and I have an SSD in the 3.5" drive bay. The metal and plastic don't feel thin.

Cons: The case is bigger then it looks. I initially wasn't happy with the size, and sometimes I get the urge to waste more money on a mini-ITX setup, but there really is no need. This case won't fit above your AV Receiver (maybe under it), but it has a nice home under the TV by the game systems.

The CPU fan is a little bit loud. I bought a quiet one (17dba) and I the fan sounds louder then it should. I think its because the metal is thin(er) so the fan noise resonates, but I'm comparing it to an Antec Solo which isn't really a fair comparison (that's a really nice case BTW). Its quiet enough for most people, just not an audio snob. But your going to pay for that so its a non-issue.

The USB 3.0 Header doesn't work with my motherboard unfortunately. The mobo manufacturer put the header right where any cramped case with a hard plastic USB 3.0 header wont work. Can't really ding an egg for that due to it being a motherboard issue and not the case. Just something to be aware of when selecting the mobo. Pick the one that has the USB connector towards the back or the case and not the front or plan on using USB 2.0.

Other Thoughts: Overall I'm happy. Less than $500 got me a nice AMD A10 system with a 1TB HDD and 32GB SSD Cache. I wouldn't call it a home theater PC case though. Its really just a slim desktop case that can pass for one.

5 out of 5 eggsVery good HTPC case

Pros: -Sleek design
-Easy to assembly with the removable cage
-Very solid structure
-"Hybrid" 3.0/2.0 USB
-Great size for anywhere
-Good for tower or desktop placement

Cons: I wish I found this case on newegg earlier!

Other Thoughts: I did not buy this case from newegg, instead I pay $20 more from a retail store. I should check newegg before buy any computer parts.
This is my second HTPC in my house, and it looks perfect in my living room by the TV for 2 months. I will buy another one and build for my parents- but this time from newegg only!

2 out of 5 eggsStay Away

Pros: Sleek design plenty of room.

Cons: Junk PSU, The PSU died after 5 days.

dvd tray is right in the way of power supply connector..this was more of an annoyance then any thing.

Other Thoughts: Newegg as usual was great at fixing the issue and offered me an RMA within 5 mins of my initial call. Trying another series case from Newegg. Be careful with this one as the power supply isn't standard so it is not easily replaceable.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: Solid case for the money...no sharp edges to contend with, power supply seems ample and sturdy and there's plenty of room for wiring and all your goodies.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Made an A10 media center build out of this case and it came out exceedingly well.

2 out of 5 eggs Beware. know what you are getting

Pros: Nice looking, good fit overall, quiet

Cons: Though I said good fit I did run into a problem. My WD Raptor does not fit in the HDD location, it is to wide. But I toss that up to the heat sink as much as the case. However, all of the drives bolt from the bottoms, not the sides. Not a problem for normal drives, however my Rosewill 5.25 to 3.5 hot swap bay only bolts from the sides. very frustrating. Also the drive bay doors break easily. Do not force them.

Other Thoughts: I give it a 2 because of the problems above and lack of info. Shouldn't be a problem for most but beware if you can't bolt your drives from the bottom. And there isn't much space inside, I would recommend against using any PCIE cards.

4 out of 5 eggsNot a bad case at all

Pros: It's a nice size
Included power supply has plenty of connectors
Front-mounted USB 3.0 (2.0 compatible)
Looks great on my entertainment center
Internal drive bay cage flips out nicely for easy install/removal of drives
Rubber padding in some choice places for noise reduction

Cons: Only one spot for a single, 80mm fan
Disc drive took some muscle to get into the bay, extremely snug fit
sharp inside edges, be careful
Instructions were for different model case
VERY bright blue power LED

But all in all, I feel this only amounts to -1 egg

Other Thoughts: Comes with legs to stand vertically, but was nice enough to include 4 durable rubber feet to stick on the case for horizontal sitting. This case will NOT accommodate a beefy video card My build was as follows:

MSI A-55 microATX mobo
AMD A8-5600k APU
8GB GSkill DDR3 1833 RAM
1TB Seagate HDD
DVD Burner

Between the mobo and the mess of wires you'll have in this thing, you won't wanna add much more to it. The 3.5" bay provides a nice pocket to stuff most of the wires in if you don't use a Floppy drive or an SD reader in it.

All in all, I'm pretty happy with this case. It's an HTPC build so I don't expect to add much to it, and with just the one case fan, I would highly recommend giving this thing a lot of breathing room.
