Raidmax named Scorpio well. Scorpio is one of the most powerful signs in the zodiac. This case is determined, forceful, intuitive, powerful, and exciting, just like its namesake. With four 5.25" and two 3.5" external drives, not to mention the four internal hard drive bays, Scorpio's power is obvious.

Then there are the two 80mm fans in the back, and one on the side will forcefully pull the air through the front vent. If that force isn't enough, an additional two fans can be added up front. The intuitive design will make installation simple and quick.

When looking at the case though, you will feel your pulse quicken with waves of excitement. The front bezel is sculpted to perfection with a classic black and red color scheme. The side window will glow with a baleful blue menace. It is not a good idea to get on Scorpio's bad side.

4 out of 5 eggsThey've revised this case, ignore older reviews

Pros: Cheap, clear side panel and LED lights for those who care about them

Cons: Side fan is cheap, got noisy after 3 years (although to be fair it was 3 years of 24/7 usage at max speed).

Other Thoughts: I'm reviewing this case only because I recently upgraded to a new one, so I figured I'd review my old case. A lot of reviews for this case do not make sense as they are for previous versions of the case. The one I got was made in late 2008 and had standard audio connections and such for the mobo, NOT for the rear panel. The door mechanism is also better since there is a sleeved part of the wires that traverse the space between the front panel and the interior. Also, I have had no problems at all with the hinges wearing down or whatever. If the USB door port pops out, which is possible if you apply enough pressure to it, just pop it back in. It's that easy.

The main downside is the questionable PSU which is lightweight and doubtfully can sustain 420W continuous power indefinitely... maybe PEAK power, but not continuous. If you will only be using the PC for light loads, that's fine, but if you are a serious gamer you must upgrade it to something less dubious.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat case

Pros: good sized, unless your going to put more than two gpu's in this case it has plenty of room in it. great case for the pirce and comes with a psu.

Cons: the only one i can think of is the power button is under the front panel thus slightly inconvenient.

Other Thoughts: i wish the side fan was a bit bigger but there is room for 2 more fans in the front so its not a big issue.

5 out of 5 eggsUpdate for the case

Pros: I reviewed this case earlier the one where i added two fans in the front. But an update on the powersupply. I plugged every thing in and it is working flawlessly. Great case. It even had enough room for the corsair A70. I love this case

Cons: I had one problem with this case. I had to remove the side fan because of the corsair a70 cooler. But the benefits of having the A70 far out weight not having the side fan.

Other Thoughts: Great case and removing the side fan is not worth brining it down an egg

5 out of 5 eggsperfect case

Pros: The case is great. My son loves it. Everything worked like a charm. Switched cases out in a couple of hours. Lights, fans, front panel worked. I didn't use the power supply because I already had a better one, but this one can be a back up.

Cons: No sound dampening like my other cases, but my son doesn't care.

Other Thoughts: I think it all has to do with shipping. If they are careful, you'll get a good product.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty nice for the price...

Pros: Plenty of room for multiple drives, accepts different board sizes, good sized power supply, two 'Star Trek' swoosh areas by the Z emblem flash with HD access. Plenty of fans.

Cons: Only one SATA power connector.

Other Thoughts: Not a bad case for the buck. Looks cool, runs cool with all the fans. Lots of space. Good sized power supply for most low end builds.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as advertised

Pros: I got ever thing as advertised. The case had no dents or scratches. I have not tested the power supply. All the fans work properly. I added two fans in the front for better cooling. I think this was a good buy

Cons: None so far.

5 out of 5 eggsNo dents or scratches

Pros: I got every thing in once piece. It did not have any dents or scratches. I have not tried the power supply yet, but from reviews i will probably replace that. I have tested all the fans and they work. I added two fans in the front making five fans total. I think it is a good case for what i paid for it.

Cons: None so far

1 out of 5 eggsJunk!!! AVOID!!!

Pros: Absolutely NONE

Cons: JUNK!!! The power supply blew within the first hour of use and took the motherboard and some of RAM with it. The case itself is extremely poorly built. The back side of the case is bent leaving 5mm gap between an expansion/video card and the rear panel. Structural deflection of the rear side prevents the side cover to shut properly etc.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty Awesome

Pros: Very nice looking and well built for the price, I'd highly recommend it . . . if your are on a budget.

Cons: >Didn't include enough motherboard risers...but enough to make it work.

>Only has one SATA power connection, so I had to buy a Molex to SATA power converter...like $5 so it's not that bad.

Other Thoughts: Routing cables to hide them was actually surprisingly easy.
>I made the n00b mistake of thinking my mobo connector was too small, but the 24 pin hookup is in two pieces. So remember to check it and find the 2 parts with arrows, they form the long mobo connector. If you are not careful, you may mistake it for an EATX connector and plug it into the EATX slot...

> You can route the fans through one Molex connector off the PSU, just connect them all in series (all the fans have and input and output connector)

>420 watts isn't much, but I am able to run 16 gigs of DDR3, Phenon II 3.4Ghz X4, DVD drive, a 1TB 6.0Gbps hdd and an ATI 5670 GPU

4 out of 5 eggs...

Pros: Looks cool and light up :) Cheep and was was a combo item for the mobo i wanted. A lot quieter then I thought it would be too. And so far so good on the psu.

Cons: When the case arived the bag holding the screws was riped open and screws where EVERYWHERE. including inside the psu. Lucky for me i was smart enough to open up the cpu and look for screws. the plastic window was chiped along the edges on the inside... but it cant be seen from the outside so it doesnt really matter... Psu only has one sata as others have stated, but that dousnt realy matter to me, I have plenty of adapters. And way too bright for most peoples taste.

Other Thoughts: Over all it looks cool and is pretty decent.
