2 out of 5 eggsPuzzled

Pros: Well, on the website it looked nice. Had the dimensions to fit my desired hardware. Had included LEDs. Three fans for nice stock air flow. The side window was nice and large to show off the guts of your PC.

Cons: Pretty much everything else. The case came with dents in the side panels, the orange/red paint on the outside had chips of missing and also black streaks from rubbing. The RMA process was another con. My e-mails were never responded to, and my calls were dropped twice. It was like I was hung up on. (No, i was not on my cellular). I eventually decided this case wasn't worth my time to RMA. Based on my understanding of measurements, my graphics card was able to fit in the case. To my surprise, it is fact could not. While, I wasn't going to be displaying the case at any LANs or anything else of that nature, I decided to make some modifications with the hard drive cage. (After the RMA was a dud) And oh my lord is this case wimpy. Its construction is terribly shoddy. I can't even call it metal.

Other Thoughts: This case might work for you, but it didn't for me.

2 out of 5 eggsgreat cooling

Pros: my pc runs every game on ultra at a steady 40c (very cold) , nice colours

Cons: sharp edges, my side and back panel don't close right! no cable management! noisy fans! on mine anyways, cheap plastic

Other Thoughts: overall you get what you pay for, if the noisy fans and the panels were to fit properly it would be a great bargain but i can't stand the noise and seeing a gap between my case and the side panel

4 out of 5 eggsCheap, but stylish

Pros: Stylish, Looks good, keeps everything inside cold.

Cons: Not a lot of cable management, Not as roomy as you might like, front plastic is kind of cheap

Other Thoughts: I had some trouble getting the graphics card in, so you might actually want to try putting it into the MoBo before you screw it into the case.
Also, some people say that they cut themselves on the case -- My case actually didn't look like the one finished here, or even the one I saw in a video review of this case. It was actually painted black inside, which was an unexpected, but great, surprise.

I don't know if it's a QA thing or whatever, but all in all this case looks amazing inside and outside. I wish there was some form of cable management, though. I ended up shoving everything into an unused bay.

By the way, definitely fill your bays up before you insert your motherboard.

2 out of 5 eggsNOT as advertised.

Pros: Nice look and decent fans. Came with everything it was supposed to.

Cons: Case not as advertised. Mobo and Vid card would not fit, had to modify case to get it to work. Had to buy a saw and modify the case to get it to fit. Motherboard and video card would have ended up being mashed together. I thought it was rather pathetic that it was advertised as an ATX but was told that the thing was not put together correctly.

Other Thoughts: I honestly found this a disappointment as I had been excited to put together my own PC only to find out that the case would not accept all the items in it. The motherboard and the video card would not fit as the case seemed to be put together incorrectly. We had to modify the case in order to get everything to fit. Overall it was pretty disappointing to have to fix a product that should have been put together correctly.

I would NOT absolutely NOT recommend this case.

Manufacturer Response:

4 out of 5 eggsFirst build

Pros: Cheap. Seems pretty straight forward. I personally like the design on the side.

Cons: Didn't come with enough stand-off screws and there was no manual

Other Thoughts: Being my first time, I would have got something else if I knew this didn't come with a manual. I like having instructions even if I don't use them.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
We apologize there's no manual.
If you like a manual, please call for live support at (909)623-6789 from Mon~Fri 9AM to 5:30pm pst and ask for a agent to get one to send out for you.

3 out of 5 eggsYou Get What You Pay For

Pros: -Looks really nice
-Not too bulky for a mid-tower
-On-Board case fans are relatively quiet

Cons: -Interior space is underwhelming
-Motherboard screw holes are too close to the back panel
-Unreliable front audio ports
-Top-mounted PSU
-No cable management

Other Thoughts: This case is... bitter-sweet. When I bought it, I got it for $35. It looks awesome, if the bright colors and LED decor is your thing. I was looking for a case for a basic gaming pc, and this does the job.

The bitter part is quite bitter, however. In order to fit my graphics card (note that this is not an overly large card, either--we're talking a Radeon 7770GHZ edition by Sapphire) I had to use a screwdriver to warp the back panel outwards. The motherboard post holes are simply too close to the back panel for an atx board, so the card couldn't fit in its slot without this modification.

The front audio ports stopped working after a week or so. Yes, I have trouble-shooted this from a software and hardware perspective, and I am convinced that the case itself broke. I do not consider this an extreme negative, as I may have just been unlucky and got a bad unit.

The power supply is on top. I don't know why, I don't know what they were thinking. This is bad, but not too bad until you combine it with the complete lack of cable management features. The case has the acrylic side-panel, but your pc won't look that awesome from the outside due to the wires draping over everything and getting in the way.

I have an AMD Phenom ii x4 965 BE in this case, and had intended to overclock it. The fan I had available for this build was a hyper 212 evo; forget about it. There is no way this fits without taking off the side fan, and even then, I don't see it fitting. Granted, this is a huge fan.

Long story short, I'm happy I bought it. I wanted a cheap case that looked snazzy, and I got it, but it came with some negatives as well. So, I would say that you should not shy away from it, but be aware of the problems you are taking on when you purchase this thing.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
We thank you for choosing Raidmax for building your PC case.
We value your opinion and we'll continue to thrive on producing high quality products.
We have noted the flaws you've mentioned on your comments and we'll continue to make adjustments in our products.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for the price

Pros: Price
Size/Interior Space

Cons: Panels Slightly Flimsy
Plastic Thumb Screws
Had Been Unboxed

Other Thoughts: This is a good case for the price. It looks sharp and everything fit just fine. The fans that come with it move plenty of air. I use my PC as a server, so it runs constantly and the case/fans keep it plenty cool. My only complaint is that it appears that this case had a power supply installed in it at some point in the past. The holes that hold a PS were slightly warped/pitted. This case was clearly not completely "new". But it was free of any obvious issues. I definately think its worth the price. A good buy.
