5 out of 5 eggsRaidmax beginner case

Pros: This has been a great case, it is over 3 years old, has been through 2 mobo's, 3 CPU's, 4 GPU's (with crossfire and sli) and 2 PSU's. The stock fans got a little noisy after about 9 months (no big deal). The wire management is decent, the case cool's incredibly well and looks great.

Cons: None

1 out of 5 eggsRAIDMAX AEOLUS

Pros: I choose this case in building my granson's first gaming PC for Christmas. It looks attactive, has an intelligent interior design, and should appeal the younger kids.

My Build includes: Asus M5A97 LE r2, AMD FX-4300 Quad Core, Patriot Viper 3 Blue 8gb, EVGA GT 740 2gb Overclock, THERMALTAKE 12 Pure Blue LED Fans, RAIDMAX 500 wt Power Supply, WD 1TB HD, and LG DVDRW 24x.

Cons: Everything went smooth while assembling the computer, all except (what Raidmax calls) the Novel, Smart One-Click Covers for 5.25" Bays. Once you remove them (and the throw-away metal back support), these covers don't securly fasten back into the case. That's what happened to me after I place a DVDRW into the bay, but the cable didn't reach. So I choose a different bay. But the Front Bay Cover that I initially removed no longer "LOCKS" into place after removing the metal case skeleton which sat behind it.
So my advice is to NEVER take them out unless you intend to fill the bay PERMANENTLY.

Other Thoughts: Through my dismay, now the case isn't attractive at all. Ever since I took out and replaced the bay covers, it only takes the slightest touch for them to fall inside the case. Something I'd bet money on to happen after my granson opens his gift. Nonetheless, I'm sure he's gonna love, despite the cosmetics. Just wish I knew that was going to be the result after removing the temporary metal backing.

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice Case

Pros: Very cool looking case and very easy to work with, nice channel on the back to run the cables and keep them out of site. Plenty of fan space, I added 4 more fans other than the one that comes with it. I love the drive bay on the floor of the case, allows plenty of room for my GTX760 video cards.

Cons: Mounting fans into the top can be little tricky, I didn't see any plastic screws and the screws that came with my fans where too big, lucky for me this was not my first rodeo.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I may have only bought one computer case so far, but i made the right decision with this one. It looks extremely cool and works very well. It has plenty of room for all of the parts that i used, it has good cable management design, and not to mention the quality of the fans. I have heard about a lot of cases having really terrible fans in them and people needing to replace them, but not in this case. They are pretty quite and look great with the lights, especially the front fan. Just the fans on the case made it extremely cool in the case, when i stuck my hand in there, there was an amazing temperature difference between the inside and the room temperature. Also, even thought the entire front is made of plastic it is still very sturdy and hasnt broken or caused me any trouble at all. All in all this case is very well rounded and looks great.

Cons: i have nothing to complain about this case, but as a personal preference i think that the side window would be better if it were completely clear and not be dimmed.

Other Thoughts: This is a very awesome looking case and is well built, especially for the price. i suggest that you take this case into serious consideration if you are looking for a new computer case

3 out of 5 eggsGood case but...

Pros: Very cool design. I look the way it looks, and the airflow is amazing (once you get some more fans see cons). Also has plenty of room for whatever you want to put in it.

Cons: It only comes with one fan, and that fan is nowhere near enough to keep everything cool. I bought 6 more fans to go in it, and I got to use 4 of them, which leads me to my next con. I didn't get the proper screws with the case to mount fans in the top section of the tower.

Other Thoughts: Overall I love this tower. It was a pain to have to buy fans to put into it, but after installing them everything looks great!!! My main problem is not getting the screws to mount the fans in top part of the tower.

2 out of 5 eggsEh Im over it.

Pros: It looks cool
Easy to put stuff in
More than enough room for video cards
Did I say looks cool?

Cons: The fans die. Every last fan has frozen. Dead. They look cool and sound cool...right up till they die. Other than that, no cons.

Other Thoughts: Took this sucker on a plane and it lived. I mean they dropped my bag. You can see where it landed on the case. Just a dent in it. Keeps working like a king though.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing for the price!

Pros: -Lots of fans
-Blue fans
-Dust covers
-Air flow

Cons: -Side panel fins
-front brackets take some patience to put back in
-rubbers on the bottom

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for a cheap budget build case that will last and has amazing air flow get this case or the Helious. It'll last until the computer dies!

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Looks good, easy wiring.

Cons: Kind of small, couldn't fit Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO. Only comes with one fan which is awful.

3 out of 5 eggsAeolus - deity of soft whispers

Pros: Looks kind of cool. Seemed to have lots of air flow(see cons). Fits large cards. Easily fit my two MSI HD6970 Lightnings (12" cards). Quiet.

Cons: 1.5 yr later, I notice the fans are kind of weak. Placing a piece of paper over the fans barely moves it. Not even enough to blow it off the case. Nor does it suck the paper towards the case if you hold the paper right in front of it. Not sure if the fans are tired or what, but definitly not the deity of wind (Newegg filters that other word..strange). -1 Egg for the fan issue.

I ended up moving my HD6970s to another case after experiencing artifacts at stock speeds. No more artifacts after that.

Does not fully utilize the USB3 header. Why only one USB 3 port when the header supports 2? Same goes for USB 2. There is enough room at the top of the case to easily add 2 more USB ports. -1 Egg

Other Thoughts: Bought else where because at the time wasn't sure NewEgg was shipping the V3 model, which had 1 USB 3 and came with 4 fans (1 front, 2 top, 1 back). I added the 5th to front. Debating now wither to replace the 4 original fans and add a fan controller or just get a whole new case for just a bit more money. Hard decision because I like the case dispite its problems.
