1 out of 5 eggsWorst case ive ever owned

This review is from: RAIDMAX Blade ATX-298WR Black/Red Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: The ONLY pros about this case is the build quality on the frame. NOTHING ELSE

Cons: The case for a "gaming case" can only fit 3 fans. and when the front fan is installed, YOU CANT EVEN FIT A HARD DRIVE. Their are No spots for SSD's, the 5 1/4 inch bays BLOCK THE SATA CABLES FROM BEING PLUGGED IN. Almost Any new age graphics card will not fit in this case and the airflow is absolute poop. There is 1/3 inch room for cable management! All cables to even fit have to be routed in the front making cable management IMPOSSIBLE. On the box it doesn't specify the amount or type of fans that can be installed. Their are no room for radiators at all but they have useless water-cooling grommets in the back.

Other Thoughts: Although this case is very bad for pretty much anything, except small form factor builds.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes the job, cool design

This review is from: RAIDMAX Blade ATX-298WR Black/Red Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Nice style and color.
Enough room for 3 120mm fans inside the case.

Cons: the paint is not really solid. But not that easy to come out :)

Other Thoughts: If you planning to use two graphic cards for this case, think twice :) The small graphic card is ok but for big one, you wont have enough room. I have 1 SSD, 3 HDDs. 32gb of RAM (4x8)
I did want to install cross fire but I couldn't with this case So I bought another 3gb 256 bit card instead of using two 1GB card.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Case, Decent Look

This review is from: RAIDMAX Blade ATX-298WR Black/Red Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Multiple fan options, tool-less access to most things, good looking.

Cons: Fan placement / room

Other Thoughts: Good case for the most part. Could have used some instructions in the box as to how to use the quick removal slots. Also would have been nice to know how to get to the front fan mount. Seems solidly built and the quick removal slots are nice. There is a problem with both the side and front fans though. If you install a liquid cooling system you can only use the back fan as the side will be partially blocked. The front fan is also pretty far up so if you plan on using it you might want to buy a fan extension cable.

3 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: RAIDMAX Blade ATX-298WR Black/Red Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: good amount of room inside case. pretty easy to mount internal components

Cons: flimsy metal. no real room for cable management or easy tie downs.

Other Thoughts: I personally don't like the blue window on a red and black case. i thought it was a protector in the pictures that would peel off, but it doesn't.

4 out of 5 eggsThoughtfulness shouldn't be taken for granted!

This review is from: RAIDMAX Blade ATX-298WR Black/Red Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Quality, Eye catching looks, Roomy, and the overwhelming feeling and pride one feels in knowing that they have just received a GREAT BARGAIN. HECK! That's why we are EGG-Heads.

Cons: I did experience 1 (one) uncomfortable feeling of engineering thoughtlessness in the composition of this case. The engineering hiccup was that the Front Panel Wires lacked clarity in color coding. I personally felt that more thought should have went into helping a Technician SAVE TIME.

Other Thoughts: I have always considered RAIDMAX as a fairly decent Chassis maker, due to PC demands for Gaming components they present that Space age look with durability/quality with extremely competitive price range.

5 out of 5 eggsWas my first choice until ...

This review is from: RAIDMAX Blade ATX-298WR Black/Red Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Keep components cool
And it's looks cool
Hold a biostar micro atx motherboard perfectly

Cons: I have nothing.

Other Thoughts: Was my first choice until my brother stopped by and saw this case I was looking online. Decided that he want his PC to use this case.
He nickname it "Mustang" (ford vehicle). Instead of placing his "i3" sticker, he has a small ford one on it.

Now I have to search for a more awesome pc case that will surpass this one :(

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
We're glad that this product worked out so well for you. We hope you'll enjoy this item for many years to come.
We appreciate you choosing Raidmax.

2 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: RAIDMAX Blade ATX-298WR Black/Red Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Looks cool. Plenty of room if you have a small graphic card.

Cons: Case doesn't fit a big video card. I had to switch cases. If you modify the case it will fit but I didn't have to tools.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
We're sorry that the size of this case didn't work out for you.
Seems like you probably need a full tower case.
If you have this case within 30 days we suggest you can probably work out with the retailer where you purchased from.
Again, thank you for choosing Raidmax.
