4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great case. Very nice quiet fans.my pc runs super cool at only 20.8c or less. Easy to install mono and most devices.

Cons: Don't like the hard drive install setup. A lil awkward but easy to install. Definitely recommend a modular psu if buying this case.

5 out of 5 eggsSuperb!

Pros: You get a fantastic case for the money. This case has excellent cooling and the fans are barely audible. It has a good built in fan controller and LED controller. The I/O panel is very simple but also efficient and reliable. The case is also very rigid and has good build quality. But perhaps the most important part of this case are its looks. It is very aesthetically pleasing.

Cons: Cable management is a bit tricky, especially with the power supply cables.

Other Thoughts: I wish the I/O panel had more room for case badges, also the red LEDs could be a bit brighter. But other than that, its a great case.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: So many cases look great in pictures and look like junk when you get them in person. Not this case. It's as stunning in person as a picture. The capacity inside is great. 5 HDD's in mine, plus an SSD. The wireway management system is great. I will purchase RAIDMAX again.

Cons: The hard drive bays are too close to the back panel, once you plug in your SATA cables and power, you can not put the side lid on. PROTIP, you must remove the HDD's out a few inches, close the panel, then push HDD's in very firmly till they snap and compress the cables on the backside.

4 out of 5 eggsRaidmax Raptor

Pros: Nice fan controls, nice USB 3.0 port on the front of case. Also good to get LED dimming controls on the front of the case considering the price.

Cons: Im taking 1 egg away simply because there isn't enough room in the top of this case to do an internal radiator mount for a liquid cooling system. Also the screw holes for the back chasis fan are way to large for standard screws. So watch if you are planning to swap that fan out with another. I ended up mounting the radiator to the back of the case.

Other Thoughts: Worth it for the price, but not a huge interrior. Also cable management room between motherboard stand and back panel is slim at best.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
We're glad that this product worked out so well for you.
We'll look into the screw holes issue you've mentioned above.
We appreciate you choosing Raidmax.

2 out of 5 eggsNot worth the money at all

Pros: The only pros that really deserve mention are The spaciousness & the looks. Fans included is nice also.

Cons: I have many cons. The power button was defective. Found this after completely building the unit. they sent me a switch / cable assy that looked generic & would require a complete disassembly. They wouldn't send me a new case so I could just teransfere my components over & return the defect - I even offered to pay for the replacement if they would refund the $$ upon the receipt of the defect --- NO. I ended up changing wires & using the reset button for power & mounting a push button in the back of the case for reset, hope I won't need it too often. The plastic trim on the front is VERY flimsey. The USBs and all controls are on top. You will need to stand up a lot if you put this on a table - plus the USBs will fill with dust. Side cover screw holes are off making install dificult. Instruction book is so bad it's funny. No small drive bay in the front for a floppy, YES, some of us have old floppys that we refere to on occassion. and last, the polarity connectors for speakers, LEDs etc. are not identified.

Other Thoughts: If you can get this for cheap & want to deal with it, OK but I would not pay more.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case!!

Pros: This case has 5 really nice fans that keep the case really cool. Alot of the cables that you need to plug in from the front are already wire managed when you open the case. The design of it looks amazing, all my friends really like the design, it's the winner of cases between all of my friends.

Cons: The fins on the front are rally nice looking but, their INSANELY flimsy. However they have not shown any signs of breaking yet.

Other Thoughts: This case can hold almost anything you put in it. A Titan or 7970 can easily fit in this case. Raidmax never disapoints when it comes to cases.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: Nice and clean look. I am able to hide the wires in the back. 2 USB 2.0 and 1 USB 3.0 combo. It is light and lots of room for the fan to circulate.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsA great quality case.

Pros: I have built 50 - 60 computers in the last decade & this is one of the better cases I've used. It's very rugged to begin with. But every thing is as it should be, no holes drilled just a little off --- all the panels & doors are perfectly aligned --- All 4 fans are functional & quiet. I am using an ASUS mobo with an AMD 8 core processor complete with water cooler. On the forums, the chief complaint on this combo was too cramped in side a midtower. However, it all fits great in this Raptor, not even slightly cramped. I love it.

Cons: The fan controls & USB ports being on top of the case & pointing up will be a problem. If the unit is on a table, you will need to stand every time you plug in a USB or adjust a fan. Also the USBs will fill with dust very quickly. That is bad.
