1 out of 5 eggsRebate redeemers beware!!

Pros: Its a case you can put your components in! For the price it is ok IF I would have got the rebate...SEE BELOW

Cons: The metal is very thin and flimsy/bendy. It feels cheap to the touch. If you are going to buy this hoping you will get your rebate think again. I followed all instructions and registered the rebate on line within the timeframe and still nothing. It's going on 4 months now.

Other Thoughts: I'm never going to buy another Raidmax product again. It even looks like a 5 year old kid put their website together. Their customer support is non existent. BUYER BEWARE!!

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsGood case

Pros: This is my first build ever, and this case looks awesome! Easy to take apart, but for someone who has never done this before, it was a little confusing on where everything should go. Obviously, I know where the motherboard goes and everything that is connected to the motherboard. I just had a hard time figuring out where the hard drive went. Got it figured out though. Good case

Cons: Nothing so far

4 out of 5 eggsYou can tell it's only $40

Pros: Inexpensive, light weight, accepts 4x 120mm fans, ATX sized motherboards fit, has 2.5", 3.5" and 5.5" drive bays.

Cons: Feels cheap, really strange expansion card screw down system. Styrofoam it is packed with is from the devil.

Other Thoughts: I've built several custom computers and so far only used Antec cases. I'm building this for a friend and he didn't want to spend a lot on the case so we went with this one. I pulled the case out to see what it looked like, and when I tried putting it back in the box, all the styrofoam fell apart. Both sides were tight to the edge of the case and it wouldn't go in just wanted to break up the foam. Needless to say I hope you never need to get this back in the shipping box. I'll stick with Antec for the future just to avoid that hassle.

4 out of 5 eggsExpectations met.

Pros: Everything that was listed is included.
Sturdy Construction (So far)
USB 3.0
3 2.5" SSD slots
Decent cable management.
Decent space.
Came with pre-installed standoffs.
Painted on inside as well.
Thumb screws for side panels.

Cons: Only 2 USB ports in front.
Top exhaust fan and bottom intake HDD fan doesn't come with screw-in slots.

Other Thoughts: Looks great, plain and simple computer case with a couple quirks for my setting. Came with plenty of space for my applications. Might be a bit small for larger motherboards and graphics cards.

2 out of 5 eggsDissapointing case

Pros: Looks good when lit up. The front is see through, so you can do some cool things with light effects. Has feet that hold it above the ground so it can get good circulation to the power supply.

Cons: Wow, is this metal cheap! The stuff rattles so easily that it makes for a noisy case no matter how careful you install your fans and drives. You have to screw everything in, and even though there is room for two front fans, you only get hardware for one, and the hardware is specialized, so you can't substitute. So no double fans in front for you! Also, the metal will bend so easy that you have to handle the whole case as if it were extremely fragile. There's nowhere near enough room for the power and sata cables behind the hard drives, and will likely take several tries to get the cover on in such a way that your drives will stay connected.

Other Thoughts: I'm aware that this is a cheap case, but there are other cases in the same price range with much better quality. I would recommend that you take a look at a Deepcool case.

2 out of 5 eggsNo quality control

Pros: Cheap.

Cons: No quality control at all. SIde panel window came half assembled to the case with the metal pieces that are meant to hold the window in place bent in the wrong direction. I had to unbend the fasteners and then pop the window back into place which is also warped from the bad installation.
The included rear fan is a molex fan rather than 3 pin or 4 pin fan to the motherboard which gives you ZERO control over the noise of the thing.
I have been reluctant to build my system inside of this case because I feel like I will run into even more grievances.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
We're sorry for the window problems you faced.
If you need extra parts, please send a email to rma@raidmax.com for faster respond/service.

3 out of 5 eggsNot bad, but not great.

Pros: Plenty of room inside
Great opportunities for cable management
Dust filters

Cons: No plastic drive bay locks
Poorly drilled standoff holes
Bottom dust filter easily falls off

Other Thoughts: I was very disappointed that the plastic, tool-less drive bay locks weren't included. I was also frustrated with the poorly drilled standoff holes, which resulted in some of the standoffs merely spinning in place rather than tightening all the way. Finally, the bottom dust filter comes loose and falls off way too easily.

On the bright side, however, the case looks nice and has plenty of room inside, including some great opportunities for cable management. The dust filters are a nice touch, too, even if I wish the bottom one were better designed.

Overall, you get what you pay for. It's clear that RAIDMAX has cut some corners, but you could certainly do worse for $40.

1 out of 5 eggsAwful

Pros: I guess it is cheap...though i can probably get a 200R for 15$ more...

Cons: Flimsy build. UPS bashed the box it came with and sure enough there is a dent in the thickest part of the case. Came without any of the tool-less mount for either the HDD bays or the 5.25 bays!!!

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
We cannot control the shipping carrier not being careful with the items.
You can file a claim with UPS to get refunds.
If you need any parts, please send a email to rma@raidmax.com for faster respond/service.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mid tower case

Pros: First thing I noticed was the better air flow than my previous case. Plenty of filters, easy to take front cover off to add 2 extra 120mm fans, bottom mount psu, plenty of space inside. Best case I have had so far.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Cable management with some psu's can be tricky. My current psu is not modular but has too many cables. Not a bad thing though as, like others have said, if you take the extra time, you can get the cable management where you want without the cables pushing on the side panel. (The panel without window)

5 out of 5 eggs2nd Review

Pros: Same as pros in last review, but now some added pros as now the build is finished.

1. Very nice font cover and easy to remove to add in a 120mm fan, and to also remove a front plate to install the DVD ROM. Plastic cover feels light but very solid.

2. Lots of dust filters.

3. Cable management is great. Really impressed how there is enough space on the back side of the case to hold unused cables and organize the ones being used.

Cons: Not really any con's, however, for first time system builders, it may be confusing as all the cables for HDD led, reset, and power switch are not color coded for knowing positive and ground sides of the cables, plus not great instructions in the manual. I've been building systems for 9 years so I knew how to install these connectors the correct way.
