4 out of 5 eggsSolid construction, somewhat lacking in features

Pros: The construction of this case is pretty solid for the price point. The steel components feel much more sturdy and reliable than the plastic counterparts of other cases. The (removable) 2.5" drive cage is definitely nice to have. USB 3.0 is a standard, and works as it should. There's plenty of space inside and the all-black theme looks nice.

Cons: Overall, this case seems to be lacking in features that other, cheaper cases have provided. There is no tool-less drive installation system, and only one included fan. The expansion card bracket design is a little unusual, and I couldn't get the restraining bracket to screw back in properly so I ended up leaving it off. The one lone dust filter (if we can refer to it as such) underneath the PSU mount is nothing more than a thin mesh screen that pops off every time you even look at it too hard.

Other Thoughts: At a reasonably low price, this case gets the job done for basic builds.
The I/O shield that came with my motherboard wouldn't fit properly, although that could be the mobo's problem.

1 out of 5 eggsmy case has a huge dent

Pros: great case
everything is great it seems almost perfect

Cons: i had a huge dent on where im supposed to put the power supply so now it wont fit

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
We're sorry that there was a dent on the case.
We don't know if it might have been caused during delivery from the freight carrier.
If you like to process a RMA with us and exchange, please send a email to rma@raidmax.com for faster respond/service.

3 out of 5 eggsYou get what you pay for

Pros: -Cheap Price. Bought this case to put an older machine in and didn't want to spend a lot of money on it. I didn't expect a lot from the case but there are a lot of little things that should be noted and as always...you get what you pay for.

-Case is aesthetically pleasing to look at

-Case seemed to have lots of room and I was able to use that to help with cable management.

Cons: -Cheaply made. Had to bend part of the case back into position upon arrival before I could install the power supply.

-Hard drive bays are setup in a weird way that can cause issues once the power cables and I/O cables are installed. Would highly advise buying L shaped SATA cables if purchasing this case.

-The case is setup for tool-less installation of components however mine arrived when none of the tool-less pegs installed nor included. This made installing components a bit tricky since the screw holes didn't seem like they were really meant to be used.

Other Thoughts: -Only comes with one fan installed. I understand for the price that kind of makes sense but you should be aware that if you want more than 1 fan (which I did due to heat concerns) to make sure to order a couple more 120mm fans to install

-Would only recommend this case to someone who isn't afraid to tinker a bit to make some repairs to the case or to make things fit the way you need. For the price this is a decent little case but just make sure you understand what you're getting into before buying it.

1 out of 5 eggsCheaply Made

Pros: No idea. Never tried to use the case, see Cons.

Cons: Order the case for a low budget system build for family member. First case, arrived dented on the side panel. Returned through newegg for replacement, very helpful. Second case arrived... dented again. Returned for refund no replacement, I'll be spending a bit more on a case to ensure its durable and packaged to protect the entire case.

Other Thoughts: I like RaidMax product, it's decent stuff. This is the cheapest tower (price wise and quality) I've ever bought, so maybe it's a sign not to do that again!

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
First we like to thank you for your review.
We have heard your response and forwarded over to our production team in our manufacture factory overseas and will ask them to do some packaging tests.
However, sometimes the carrier do not handle the package well, and throws them around, which you can claim with them
Again, we're sorry that you received 2 cases that are dented.
If you have any other questions or concerns, please send a email to rma@raidmax.com for faster respond/service.
We appreciate you choosing Raidmax products.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat look and cable mgmt design but BE CAREFUL!!!

Pros: I'm giving this case 5 eggs because the design is great . The inside has an excellent layout even if you want to put an ATX in this case which I personally wouldn't. There's plenty of open spaces for cable management and tie down points to secure your cables along with extra space formed into the side panel of the case itself. Plus you can fit two fans up front. The power and reset buttons also feel somewhat reliable.

Cons: Yes this case is very thin, super lite and I would imagine that to install parts in it you would have to do it with the same delicacy that you would consider taking in brain surgery. However it was 40 bucks and it shipped for free. After 30+ personal builds I can't say that I didn't know what I was getting into, but this was my very first Intel build and a very cheap build at that. So I can't take away any eggs for that.

2 out of 5 eggsYou get what you pay for

Pros: Actual layout of case interior isn't bad. Lots of space and options for cable routing.

Cons: Overall construction of case is poor; the sides are very flimsy and easy to bend out of shape.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
First we like to thank you for your review.
We're sorry to hear that this case didn't work out for you.
We have heard your response and forwarded over to our production team in our manufacture factory overseas to see why it was filmsy.

4 out of 5 eggsRaidmax Case

Pros: Great lightweight case some might say flimsy and cheap but you can't have your cake and eat it too. I wanted a light weight case and this is perfect. Tired of carrying 75# around then this is for you. Put all my stuff in and it weighs about 25# love it. You just have to be careful not to over tighten the screws or to bang it on things.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Will buy more!!!

3 out of 5 eggsGood case, poor audio jack

Pros: Case is lightweight, good airflow. Good price. Extra side panel for organizing wires, easy to open and close.

Cons: Audio jack is loose and wiggles easily. After a couple of weeks, I can hear the audio coming in distorted through my headphones. I can hear the headphone jack scraping when I plug it in/unplug it. The case has already ruined two headphone cords.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
First we like to thank you for your review.
We have heard your response and forwarded over to our production team in our manufacture factory overseas.
We are sorry to hear that the audio jack is having some issues for your case.

3 out of 5 eggsNightmare..

Pros: Filters over the front vents...
looks pretty cool..

Cons: Nightmare to build.. screw holes didn't line up. The One included fan moved hardly any air at all. The tabs are a joke. With all these fan bays they should have included a hand full of fan screws..

Other Thoughts: The case works for recycling an elderly motherboard.. Making use of parts stored in the closet.. I wouldn't recommend it for a new build.. they do include allot of screws so you don't need to worry about the bad tabs...

4 out of 5 eggsNice Case

Pros: Relatively cheap
Decent amount of internal space
Front USB 3.0
Decent air flow
Okay cable management

Cons: Not the sturdiest of materials but that can be expected for the price
No side vent for more airflow

Other Thoughts: I took an egg off for two reasons, first no side air vent, and two it showed up almost a week after the rest of parts even though I ordered it at the same time, and it shipped from a closer warehouse. Also the cable management is okay, but not the greatest, it needs more tie down points on the mobo tray.

Aside from that it's an okay case, and I'd buy it again for another build.
