4 out of 5 eggsOkay for the price

Pros: As the title says, for the price this is a great product. Mine was a bit damaged by shipping but ended up not returning it, since I was able to fix it by hand. It has okay cable management space. Never the less, it's a good product.

Cons: Besides the shipping, nothing.

3 out of 5 eggsLooks nice, feels bad.

Pros: This case is a very easy to build in case and looks nice too. You can fit practically anything within it and has room for a few fans. Easy cable management.

Cons: The build quality was all just "meh". It was okay but it felt cheap. The plastic parts felt like i could break it and the metal felt like it was going to bend and felt very cheap. However I knew they weren't going to bend or break of course.

Other Thoughts: If they increase build quality it would be a near perfect case.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat case

Pros: I really like this case since it is very spacious and relatively cheap since it does have a clear side panel. I have a GTX 760 and a Tx3 CPU cooler and their is still a lot of room in the case. Wire management is pretty good since it has clips on the side panel to zip tie the wires. Overall great case for the price (around 20 after rebate).

Cons: I have 4 fans on it which help to circulate air in it, but the front fans are limited in the amount of air they can push since the HDD and SDD slots restrict airflow.

2 out of 5 eggsRaidmax Vortex

Pros: Looks good

Cons: When it shipped here there was no bubble rapping or any sort of that and the GPU slot was dented including the Power supply area. Front fans only support small screws. Managed to get away with the dents. They were about 1-2 inchs big of a dent.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear customer,
We're sorry to hear that the case came in dent.
Sometimes the shipping carrier doesn't handle with care therefore it might cause some damage on the product.
If you like to learn how to get a replacement, please send a email to rma@raidmax.com for faster respond/service.
We appreciate you choosing Raidmax products.

4 out of 5 eggsGood For New Builders

Pros: I think it is really good for beginner builders. Its good for the price I should say. This is my second build I am keeping on a budget so I think its good enough.

Cons: It does have cheap plastic and the on/off and reset buttons feel cheap but over all it has its problems like the USB 3.0 came shifted in its place when I got it I fixed it though.

Other Thoughts: I am staying on a budget and this is not the best case out there but it is defiantly not the worst.

1 out of 5 eggspiece of junk

Pros: it gets the job done... sort of.

Cons: if you are going to have a graphics card in this case their is a random piece of metal preventing you from plugging in fat hdmi cables so i had to take the insulation off it. another problem that i had with this case is that it has a cheap build quality.

Other Thoughts: spend the extra 10 bucks and buy a corsair spec-01

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
We really like to hear from you and know what we can do for you.

1 out of 5 eggsRebate redeemers beware!!

Pros: Its a case you can put your components in! For the price it is ok IF I would have got the rebate...SEE BELOW

Cons: The metal is very thin and flimsy/bendy. It feels cheap to the touch. If you are going to buy this hoping you will get your rebate think again. I followed all instructions and registered the rebate on line within the timeframe and still nothing. It's going on 4 months now.

Other Thoughts: I'm never going to buy another Raidmax product again. It even looks like a 5 year old kid put their website together. Their customer support is non existent. BUYER BEWARE!!

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
Our office are open from Mon Thru Friday, 9am to 5pm pst.
Please give us a call and we'll see if we can solve the problem you have.
Thank you.

5 out of 5 eggsGood case

Pros: This is my first build ever, and this case looks awesome! Easy to take apart, but for someone who has never done this before, it was a little confusing on where everything should go. Obviously, I know where the motherboard goes and everything that is connected to the motherboard. I just had a hard time figuring out where the hard drive went. Got it figured out though. Good case

Cons: Nothing so far

4 out of 5 eggsYou can tell it's only $40

Pros: Inexpensive, light weight, accepts 4x 120mm fans, ATX sized motherboards fit, has 2.5", 3.5" and 5.5" drive bays.

Cons: Feels cheap, really strange expansion card screw down system. Styrofoam it is packed with is from the devil.

Other Thoughts: I've built several custom computers and so far only used Antec cases. I'm building this for a friend and he didn't want to spend a lot on the case so we went with this one. I pulled the case out to see what it looked like, and when I tried putting it back in the box, all the styrofoam fell apart. Both sides were tight to the edge of the case and it wouldn't go in just wanted to break up the foam. Needless to say I hope you never need to get this back in the shipping box. I'll stick with Antec for the future just to avoid that hassle.

4 out of 5 eggsExpectations met.

Pros: Everything that was listed is included.
Sturdy Construction (So far)
USB 3.0
3 2.5" SSD slots
Decent cable management.
Decent space.
Came with pre-installed standoffs.
Painted on inside as well.
Thumb screws for side panels.

Cons: Only 2 USB ports in front.
Top exhaust fan and bottom intake HDD fan doesn't come with screw-in slots.

Other Thoughts: Looks great, plain and simple computer case with a couple quirks for my setting. Came with plenty of space for my applications. Might be a bit small for larger motherboards and graphics cards.
