5 out of 5 eggsOne of the best ITX cases I ever seen! Killer Price after rebate (price is key, keep it low please raidmax)

Pros: For the price its killer. If I see it come down to $15-20 ill buy more.
Bonus is that if you remove the ssd bracket you can fit some very small Micro ATX boards in here!
use only GTX 750-950-960. (extremely low heat cards) or 240-260X

Cons: You have to remove brackets to fit some small Micro ATX boards super snug but its not meant for Micro! so actually its a bonus!
Heat can be an issue so I'd recommend rotate the fan so air pulling out if you have it packed with big card and big power supply.
It fits Micro ITX Video cards and few medium size cards. I fit a GTX 560TI but its was snug and overheated. (it was the card in tight place not the cases fault)

Other Thoughts: Excellent for AMD A6-A10 builds. I had one running off used form factor PSU 250W and was running BF4 1080P on A10!

3 out of 5 eggsI expected better

Pros: Very attractive ITX case, USB 3.0 front panel, very roomy for what it is, and reasonably priced if I actually receive the rebate in a timely manner. But based on what I've read here, that is apparently iffy.

Cons: Where to start. :( 12 screws to get inside to mount stuff! Unreal! I/O plate mounting hole too oversized to keep the pate snapped in place{I had to tape it in place until the board was mounted and now that's what keeps it there. Disappointing!) HDD screw holes in drive mount cage are too far back causing the HDD to keep the top from going on at the back.(I'll have to drill or punch extra holes to make it work. Unforgiveable! No reasonable owner's manual or directions for proper implementation and component installation, i.e., it says it can use a full ATX power supply or an sfx but there are no directions to mount either(but I figured it out). Likewise, specs say either a 3.5", 2.5". or SSD can be mounted but other than the full sized drive, I can't figure out how to mount the smaller drives. DIRECTIONS WOULD BE HELPFUL Raidmax!

Other Thoughts: I've built many computer systems and a good number of those have been ITX. I've dealt with at least 10 different Mini-ITX cases but this is by far the most frustrating of all my ITX builds due, in my opinion, to poor quality of mechanics and poor engineering. Note: I think I was disappointed with the last Raidmax case I bought and if I recall correctly, that involved a no-show rebate. I'm pretty much done with this outfit.

1 out of 5 eggsRebate Ignored, no response to any emails

Pros: A nice tidy case, however...

Cons: It has been a few months since I bought this item and filed for a rebate and I have not heard from Raidmax. My emails have been denied and their phone menu takes you nowhere near a human being. I will not buy another Raidmax product again.

3 out of 5 eggsDepends what you're putting in there and for what reason.

Pros: -Small form factor makes fit flow better with the rest of the room.
-As is, it is very quiet with the parts it came with
-It looks pretty modern and more expensive than it really is

Cons: -Very VERY poor airflow
-My r7 360 heated up to 89c from 24c (idle) before I decided to shut it down. I'm sure if I let it run it would've shut down on its own but I'd rather not torch my components. All I did was loaded into a game and watched the temp steadily move up. I didn't play the game, just loaded it.
-Zero ability to cable manage
-Dust and fingerprint magnet

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't plan on doing anything that would stress a GPU. Best thing to do is get a CPU with built in graphics because the lack of airflow really hindered my graphics card. I drilled out the side panel to put two fans in push configuration to have enough air to cool down the GPU and installed a third fan in replacement of the factory fan for faster RPM's for more flow.

When that wasn't enough I removed the other panel to let all that air out somewhere and that was when my GPU finally stabilized at 60-65c during gaming, mid 40's for youtube/netflix and 23-28c for web surfing, word processing and very easy tasks.

5 out of 5 eggsStunningly gorgeous and light

Pros: - Aluminum with brushed metal finish
- Plexi-glass (?) side paneling
- Liquid cooling support on the bottom
- Front mounted PSU slot
- Both side panels and the top panel are removable for ease of installation of components
- USB 3.0 in the front (has a USB3.0 cable, which will connect to your motherboard)
- Very light because of the aluminum/steel chassis
- 2-slot expansion slot for a 2-wide graphics card

Cons: - The metal easily shows scratches (I scratched it once with a screwdriver while uninstalling the provided case fan)
- Poor airflow by default (which was obvious going in)
- I've read the included case fan will become noisy after 2-3 months, so I've removed it before doing anything else

Other Thoughts: Overall, phenomenal case. The cons were obvious before I purchased, which is why I didn't remove any eggs.

I plan to drill into the case to create an additional 120mm fan slot in the future.

Additionally, I appreciate that they included a little baggy with a few zip-ties and like 30 screws that match the aesthetic of the case. This assures that the case will still look sleek if you make additions. Will definitely continue using RAIDMAX after this (I also have a RAIDMAX Smilodon).

I plan to write a follow-up after I make my modifications

5 out of 5 eggsNice compact case + NO rebate yet?

Pros: Nice case good looking if you are good to connect all mini ITX power cables and connection then you should buy one. I like it. Five stars just for product, CU is zero if you want to get your rebate info.

Cons: no rebate yet neither any communication about my rebate check, on web site you can track your rebate but real result are nothing.

Other Thoughts: no rebate check yet?

Manufacturer Response:

3 out of 5 eggsNot for portable heaters

Pros: This case is super small. You can easily place this anywhere in your work station (aka desk), and it also looks very nice. You can easily detach side panels for easy (not for the big handed) installation. All cables are labeled correctly (surprisingly) and blue led fan does its job.

Cons: There are two things you should know when you are considering this. First is the poor placement of the PSU. It is designed so the hot air from PSU blows into the box, which isn't very ideal. I understand the reasoning behind this, but does not make it any better. Second is the bolt housing/holes. (Although, this could just be my case) They are so poorly threaded, you must use your engineer intuition to make it work. Rule goes for all bolts and nuts, but do not over turn the MB studs, and be patient with the HDD bracket.

Other Thoughts: People complain about side panel scratches. I would get some screen protectors, but investing $30 for this particular case is a bit too much in my opinion. I'd keep it open if your cables are tidy. I'm going to monitor how it holds up when it is closed.

This case is a stellar case for the low budget and small form. I'd recommend this to any AMD APU enthusiasts, if you are not planning to go dedicated graphics card. Also, do wire all components before placing the MB, if your hands are bigger than average bear.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
We are very sorry to hear that this case didn't meet up to your expectations.
However, if there's anything we can do for you, if you need parts or if you need any kind of other help from us, please don't hesitate to give us a call or simply send a email to rma@raidmax.com for faster respond/service.
We appreciate you choosing Raidmax products.

5 out of 5 eggsNice case

Pros: Sharp looking case, though does show fingerprints easily as others have noted
Includes USB 3.0 port
Feels solidly built, not cheap and plastic like some others
Excellent support

Cons: No side vents- though I use this as an htpc with an intel G3258 utilizing onboard gpu and have no problems with heat...never more than 32 degrees cpu and 30 degrees on the mb

Other Thoughts: Mine came with a sticky power button. I emailed their support and they sent out a replacement button the same day.

4 out of 5 eggsNearly-Perfect case

Pros: Let me start off by saying that this is not for everyone. Nor would I recommend this case to a first time builder. However, if you use a little common sense this is an excellent case.

-Well designed, allowing for all the panels to be removed.
-"big" enough for a (6") PSU and a (9.5") GPU at the same time.
-really good airflow, use a higher SP fan.

Cons: my only gripe with this case, is that the acrylic panels can be scratched by a soft fart in the room over. I spent the extra ten bucks and bought some carbon fiber vinyl and it looks exponentially better .

also, not dual usb3 for the front I/O.

2 out of 5 eggsWasn't well thought out

Pros: *The case is sleek
*The windows are clean and I enjoy the tint
*Easy to disassemble

Cons: *The case smudges easily. Do not touch with greasy or sweaty fingers
*The dimensions of the case do not allow for a full size atx psu and full size gpu. CHOOSE WISELY. You will have to spend a small sum to make up for lost room.
*poor ventilation causes series problems. The gpu and cpu temperatures will rocket upwards if mismanaged.
*barely any room for hdd's and ssd's
*no room behind back motherboard.
*wire management was thrown out the window

Other Thoughts: I know this case was meant for itx builds, but the dimensions and layout completely gimp the case. I made a lot of compromises, and I modified the case to allow for more. I drilled holes, painted the case, and added hooks to allow for more features including ventilation and cable management. Overall, I wish I went with the Hyperion, although I did not know about it at the time.
I would use this case in a low powered office computer and nothing more. It was extremely hard to paint, and I spent many hours for it to allow high end gaming.
