5 out of 5 eggsGreat looking case that has USB 3.0 (x2) front ports

Pros: Good looking case
All black with clear and blue led case fan included
USB 3.0 (x2) front ports and audio ports
Has 2 5.5" drive bays (for my CD/DVD burner)
Has decent cable rout-ability for price point
Has window on side
Has adequate ventilation with filters
Uses thumb screws for side panels

Cons: Case 'handles' are not sturdy on top and I am a bit worried about the long term survivability of these legs/handles.
Of the 2 thumb screws that hold each panel to the case the bottom one on the window panel side does not line up great.

Other Thoughts: This case is my first non-dell case but it seems to be very nice for the price $35 AR.
The 2 included fans, the decent cable routing, the USB 3.0 front ports, and the side window give this case a great value.

5 out of 5 eggsGenuinely good case from RAIDMAX

Pros: Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect out of it; RAIDMAX is not known for making particularly high quality cases. And their dark history DID show in the Monster II. There were some manufacturing tolerance issues (thumb screw holes not properly aligned) but they were minor issues that won't take off an egg.

But, it really is a good case. There aren't many good cases in the 60-100 price range, and this may yet set the standard.

It's big. REAL big. I was surprised at how large it was for a mid-tower. It's highly spacious interior let me fit a Hyper 212 EVO flawlessly, and with a bit of room to spare. You know that little slit in the motherboard tray for cable management? Looks small in the pictures, right? WRONG. It's massive. Tons and tons of room for cables. I was genuinely amazed at the amount of management options available. No grommets, but honestly, it wouldn't have mattered. Thanks to the Monster II I've made my cleanest build to date. The shroud for the PSU has some holes in it that allow you to connect cables in hard-to-reach places on a motherboard. If you've got big hands like me, it'll be hard to do, but it can be done. The drive sleds for the HDD and SDD were genius and I loved them. They worked excellently! There is also a huge, huge amount of room in the front of the case for a radiator (you might have to remove the shroud and stick to SSDs though.)

It also looks phenomenal. A stylish case with tasteful lighting that doesn't come off as gaudy like other RAIDMAX cases. It would look just as at home in a professional environment as it would at a LAN party. The front panel is fairly easy to remove (though it might scare you with how violently it comes off!) which grants access to a nice fan filter. Another fan filter is on the bottom of the case protecting the PSU. It's very easy to remove and clean and should extend your power supply's lifetime.

The inclusion of USB 3.0 ports on the top was very nice; a lot of modern cases aren't quite with it yet.

If you've got an external HDD like me, the neat arches on the top of the case will hide it well. (Just don't lift the case by them! They are NOT load bearing!)

The included fans seem to work quite well without much noise, and produce a nice, clean blue light that isn't too bright. Very pleased with it.

Thanks to the widely spaced bars in the front panel, the front fan can easily pull the air it needs without compromising the look of the case.

Honestly, this is one of those cases that looks a lot better in person than in pictures.

Cons: But it's not without a few flaws, however.

The arches on the bottom of the case, which do have some rubber feet, reduce the surface area on which the case rests, making it easier to tip over. Keep the case in a secure place so that it can't be knocked over by anything.

Like I mentioned earlier, the screws holding the doors in place had some manufacturing tolerance issues. One bottom screw for the windowed door did not fit after being removed for the first time. A minor issue, as the door is pretty secure even without screws.

The PCI plates in the back can be fiddly to work with; again, a minor issue.

The glossy black finish of the skyscraper-like front and top panels might pick up fingerprints, but they won't be a huge issue since they are nicely separated and don't allow much contact.

Thankfully, there were NO major, severe, or critical issues with the case. I'm very, very happy with it.

Other Thoughts: RAIDMAX, if you read this, bravo. I know you were never hugely popular, but if you keep making cases as genuinely fantastic as this one, you can really start to compete with the titans of this industry.

This is an amazing case and I am beyond happy with it. I'm very proud to say that this is a RAIDMAX; and I'm actually a little disappointed there was no RAIDMAX case badge. This was a real grand slam and I hope they as a company are proud of this case. It doesn't have a bunch of features, but it is very nicely focused, and that is seriously to it's benefit.

My last case was an NZXT Guardian, and I hated it.

I am IN LOVE with the Monster II.

Feel free to send me a case badge RAIDMAX, I'll happily wear it :)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case for the money

Pros: I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the cable management was for this case. My expectations were not very high when i purchased this case (simply because of the cost) but i was very happy with the results.
SSD/HDD mounting locations are great.
Lots of room for a bigger video card.
Good air flow.

Cons: Power button could be a little better.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty nice little case for the money.

Pros: Looks cool. Has filters. The basement is nice non removable. Great for a nice looking budget build. Rubber feet for grip. Very clean look. Cable management easy.

Cons: It is cramped between HDD cage and psu put all power cables on psu before securing your psu or remove the HDD cage ahead of time. Thick radiators may be a problem in this case. This isn't my computer I am building for a friend on a budget of 675. Looks top shelf for under 700 bucks. He let me pick it all out for him.

Other Thoughts: I would totally build another machine in this case turned out awesome price was decent and they offer free shipping on this case if you catch it at the right time.
