5 out of 5 eggsThe last case you'll ever buy

Pros: There are way too many to list. I've owned a TJ09-BW before this one, it's almost identical. I got this one for a client and built him a computer in it.

When I go to build a new computer I'll be reusing these cases. I can't think of any reason I'd need to replace it. If fact it's even doubtful the ATX standard will change enough to warrant a new case (after all BTX failed rather miserably despite being better than ATX in every way).

I've replaced my case almost every time I built a new computer cause there was always something I didn't like about the old one... if nothing more than a dated look. But not any more. Even the style of this case is so "classy" it will never look dated.

The construction, the space, the airflow, conveniences like the slide out mobo tray, all wonderful. Plenty of space to rout your cables so they are out of the way (and to help airflow further).

I need to stop before I start to gush even worse.

Cons: I can't even claim the price as a negative. Seeing as I won't need to buy a new case for a *very* long time this is actually a cost savings.

Other Thoughts: I used simple zip-tie mounts with adhesive backing inside the case and triplite velcro cable ties (attached to the mounts with actual zip-ties) to route the cables into a "trunk" coming down to the right side of the mobo... between the mobo and the front expansion bays. From there everything branches out neatly to the components as needed.

This significantly improves airflow throughout the case and gives it a very neat and clean look. It takes a bit of planning to pull it off but the effort is well worth it... and this case gives you plenty of space for it. Just make sure you have long cables for everything. And since it's all bound together with velcro, upgrades are easy.

5 out of 5 eggsThe best of the best

Pros: This case is made of THE highest quality materials and workmanship.
Exceptional air flow . Ability to mount a twin 120mm fan radiator inside on top was a huge plus for me. This build is running on air.
With a little work the wire management can be done very well.
I added sound insulation as well and the case runs cool quiet and looks like a million bucks.
I have built over eight of these and have never had even the slightest problem with this case.
Customers go WOW!!!

Cons: There is not much room on the back side of the case in-between the back of the mother board and the case cover. Maybe .375 inch.
Wire management takes a little time to think through but it can be done nicely.
I milled out a rectangular hole in the mobo tray to allow the Sata cables to come in from the back. I had the tray shot in black satin powder coat. Looks very clean.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Case

Pros: Holds my new system, the motherboard rack can slide in with my 3way SLI cards and a Zalman 9700 mounted to the board.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: Great if your building a system that you know will through off a lot of heat.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Case

Pros: I had been drooling over this case for almost a year before I bought it and I was not disappointed. Case is quiet, sturdy and has enough room for 2 computers. My full sized ATX motherboard looks tiny in this case. Hard drive trays are exceptionally well made and isolate the noise with secure mounting and vibration dampening. If you aren't worried about fan noise, there is the ability to add 3 extra 120mm fans to the case. Finish on the case does not leave fingerprints and looks fantastic. The IO ports at the top are my favorite part. You can hide them away if you don't need them.

Cons: None, other than the fact that the case is monstrous. The pictures do not really do it justice, this case is more like a full tower than a mid tower.

Other Thoughts: All in all, a fantastic case. I bought this case originally thinking I would water cool my components, but it is so cool that I don't need to anymore. The capabilities are there though, for those of you who are curious. You could easily mount radiators inside or outside the case (via the pre-drilled holes).

5 out of 5 eggsTJ10 - Rock Solid

Pros: This was my 2nd DIY (Do it Yourself) build and I was looking for quality, air flow and room to work in. The TJ10 provided for all of those requirements. The 2 drive bays (hold 3 drives each) are removable which makes installation a breeze. Also the slide out motherboard tray comes in very handy. Cable/wire management is amazing, especially with modular PSU. With all fans running it has a surprisingly low noise factor, especially considering there's no noise dampening on this case.

Cons: Would have liked to had an eSata port on flip up (front panel).

Other Thoughts: I purchased the NVIDIA edition case which has all fan slots populated and each have a green LED, kinda cool with the clear side. The Zalman9500 cpu fan fit with room to spare and lines up nicely with rear fan.
EVGA 780i, 4GB Corsair Dominator ram, QuadCore 9450, 2 8800 GT's Akimbo (1 GB memory each) and Corsair 1000 watt modular PSU.

5 out of 5 eggsBest in Class

Pros: Once again, another fine product from Silverstone. Removable MOBO tray which is great and makes thing so much easier. Great setup with fans for cooling. My system now runs 20 degrees cooler. Every case I have ever owned from Silverstone has always done a great job in cooling.

Cons: I only have one complaint and am kind of upset with Silverstone with this. I purchased a case from them 2 years ago. The TJ05 with the LCD screen for Fan monitor and Temperature Contorl. This case was solid as could be. The side panels on this case were thicker and did not feel flimsy. The TJ10 side panels feel real flimsy and are easily bent.

Other Thoughts: Just be carefull when removing the panels! The main panel with the window is especially flimsy due to the hile cut out for the window. When installing this back into place you want to make sure that it slides into place correctly. If not it will not seal against the intake for the GPU cooler and HDD enclosure.

5 out of 5 eggsThoroughly Impressed

Pros: For my new comp - the enclosure was a point of high consideration. After untold hours researching cases, I landed on the SS-TJ10 as it met the following conditions:

1). High quality build with clean lines (aluminum or steel) - All I can say is WOW. Impeccable in every sense of the word. Beautiful design, sleek and monolithic - highly refined. The supporting structure is generously thick aluminum, fastened throughout with screws (no rivets here). The outer panels are also sufficiently thick, black annodized, brushed aluminum. Every part seems to have been taken into great consideration - very consistent quality throughout.
2). Excellent air cooling (no h2o pour les mois) - With 5 strategically placed 120MM fans this case should stay frosty. The mid-mounted fan is a stroke of genius.
3). Spacious (big hands) - "Midsize" is the wrong term. Full sized tower if I've ever seen one.
4). Removable mobo tray
5). Side window (gotta see the goods)

2 words: Completely awesome!

Cons: ~ As has been noted by others, the door, though made of thick aluminum - uses a slightly sloppy hinge mechanism. This is due, no doubt, to the fact that it can be moved or removed.

~ The top grille is not entirely flat, seems to have been bent a little bit when pressed into place.

~ The side panels, though structurally sound, could have used a gauge or two thicker material. Make sure the screws that attach the window are secure, as they are central to panel rigidity.

~ This case makes heavy use of screws to mount drives and expansion cards. Not a problem for me - but if you swap items often, this might be a point to consider.

~ 5 large fans, yes, but only two are supplied. For a case this expensive, SS should have included 5 fans.

~ Finally - Price. $xxx + $xx shipping + $xx for extra fans = spendy. But this case will serve me for years to come... so well worth it if you can afford it.

Other Thoughts: ALL cons are minor points - and certainly not worthy of a reduction in points. This case is simply awesome.

I looked at A LOT of enclosures prior to my selection of the TJ-10. From the top down: overall build, excellent cooling, tasteful styling, generous side window, perfect mobo tray, sturdy rubber footings etc.. I feel quite confident that I found the best of the best.

I can't wait for the rest of my system to show up so I can get to work.

Cheers, and Thx Newegg ;)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: This is a great case! Silverstone uses very high-grade aluminum for the construction of this case. The two top fans and hdd fan are extremely easy to install. I like being able to install and access my hdds from the side of the case.

I had to remove my video cards and sound card to install or remove my HDDs on my previous case. I like the fan that has direct cooling access of the video cards.

Cons: I had to reroute the internal header cables (pwr led, pwrsw, hd_led, reset) inside the case so that they would reach my motherboard (780i). It was pretty easy to do, and actually the cables are more concealed now. I had to remove 6 screws on the front of the case to remove the front cover in order to do this, but it was pretty easy. I actually called Silverstone on this problem, and they recommended attempting to reroute the cables. They said that their newer production of this case would have longer cables.

Other Thoughts: I had to buy some longer SATA and power cables for my hdds. My power supply cables were mostly to blame for this incident. I kind of expected this with the location of the HDDs.

This is one of the more expensive cases, but the excellent layout and construction of the case is excellent!
