1 out of 5 eggs64-bit users DON'T BUY. Sad.....Sooooo Sad!

Pros: Nice looking, WOULD be a nice case that WOULD be perfect for my application....EXCEPT

Cons: Problem 1) Case arrived with some light surface scuffs and scratches which I was planning on overlooking because I am in sales and I know sometimes that happens as far as things get shipped across the world. Problem 2) My build consists of ASUS P6T and Core I7 with 6gb ddr3 1600mhz ram however the "hidden" hdd mount puts the hard drive in the way of the DIMM_C1 and DIMM_C2 ram slots and therefore you can only use 4 of the 6 ram slots available (limiting you to use no more than 8gb ddr dual chan?). Ok, I guess that can slide too because the whole idea of this case is to have a nice, compact home theater style case, and there is another hdd slot. Problem 3) and this is the most frusturating. NOWHERE, NOWHERE, NOWHERE in the documentation of this product on newegg or the manufacturer website is it mentioned that even if you buy a PARALLEL PCI card (which I did) so that this ancient VFD technology could be utilized, it will not work, no matter what, with Windows XP/Vista 64-bit platforms

Other Thoughts: CONS C'NT'D: The driver that the Silverstone website directs you to download (port95nt.dll) is 32-bit Windows only and there is no 64-bit parallel vfd driver anywhere that you search on the internet. I also tried a parallel-to-usb adapter to no avail. If your motherboard doesn't have a dinosaur parallel port and you are planning on using windows 64-bit DO NOT BUY.

2 out of 5 eggsA vast disappointment...

Pros: Nice front panel, subdued metal flake black paint on sheet metal. The blue power light isn't as bright as I'd feared.

Cons: LOUD! LOUD! Screaming LOUD! You'd think that something made for home theater would be quiet, but instead there are two little buzzing LOUD fans. Now I've got to hunt up some quieter fans. AND the VFD is driven off a PARALLEL PORT! This is useless! Anyone remember what a parallel port is? How ridiculous is that? Half the motherboards made don't have a parallel port, and the other half shouldn't -- there has been no need for over a DECADE except for the anachronistic VFD in this box...

Other Thoughts: For as much money as this cost, I was expecting FAR better.
