5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: Dust filters, bottom mounting PSU, black interior

Cons: The audio out is useless, come only with 1 fan

Other Thoughts: For the the LED light problem, you can switch the HD LED with the power LED

5 out of 5 eggsBest Case for the Money

Pros: Looks Great, easy to work on and in, stays remarkably cool(well under 100°F on my system-usually under 90°F-idles at 79°F to 84°F). I put 4 Scythe Gentle Typhoon 1450 RPM fans in which made it more expensive but I don't EVER have to worry about overheating!

my system: DFI LP DK P55-T3eH9, Intel Core i3 530 2.93GHz, Radeon HD 4670 etc.

Cons: My only minor complaint would be cable management but I have it arranged so it gets effective cooling and it isn't on display so-meh.

Other Thoughts: Several people have mentioned about the power on light and the HD light not being visible. If you look at the inside of the front cover there are 3 circles in the plastic corresponding to the 3 lights in front, the power on light has 2 separate lights, 1 on either side of the HD light. I drilled out the plastic circles to the size of the circle (maybe an 8th of an inch or so) and I can now see the lights just fine. I think they were going to have those open but didn't do it to save money on a low end case.

5 out of 5 eggsNice case

Pros: Tool-less design, clean look, and up to 5 120mm fans for a real nice price. I really like the look, basic but with a hint of style.

Cons: None so far.

5 out of 5 eggsMy first Silverstone

Pros: I love the layout of this case. I've always recommended full towers for gaming computers but this thing maximizes the use of a mid tower with great cooling and hard drive space. Did I mention how sexy it looks? It's dirt cheap too.

Cons: Made in China, don't count on directions to figure out fan installation.

Other Thoughts: Wait for newegg to send out promotion emails and pick up 4 120 mm fans for the price of 3 to fill out this case as it only has one included.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth Every Penny

Pros: Very nice case for so little money! Everything mounted easy and their was no issues during the assembly.

Cons: It could have better cable management. The rear exhaust fan makes very faint ticking sound at low speeds, but you have to have your ear right next to it hear it. Not worth knocking off an egg over.

Other Thoughts: Id buy it again for sure!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks for me

Pros: So far so good. Bought this on special over a year ago. About every three months I've added something to it. Currently it holds an AMD 1090T, 8 Gb DDR3, ASUS M4A89TD PRO/USB3, Card reader/Fan controler, 650W psu, ATI 5770, 3 2TB HDD, and all 5 fan slots are filled fans and a hyper 212plus on the CPU. Ambient temperature in room is about 80F / 26C. on idle system runs at about that temp, under load CPU maxes out at 46C and GPU 60-62C.

Cons: Another intake fan on side panel for GPU would be nice.

Other Thoughts: This is a positive pressure case. 4 fans in, 1 out. Fans are 1 Front by HDD, 2 top, and 1 bottom as intake. Top rear exhaust fan. With all intake slots populated the rear exhaust fan only provides a minimal amount of functionality. Unless I'm benching or burning in, or playing Crysis, I leave the rear fan off for noise control. The GPU area however seems excessively warm. The bottom intake fan aims directly at the GPU but there doesn't seem to be a enough pressure to vent effectively out the vented PCI slot covers.

3 out of 5 eggsGood Beginner Case

Pros: Tool less design
large interior work area
multiple fan positions
bottom power supply location
easy to remove sides for acces

Cons: Limited documentation - use of tool less bay "locks" are by trial and error
LED activity lights are buried behind the front cover with very limited viewing capability

Other Thoughts: This was my first build. Marginal information in the manual - mostly illustrations. Tool less aspects are quite good - interior work area is quite adequate. I could not find the LED "power" and "HDD activity" LEDs on the exterior after powering up. Silverstone tech support was very prompt and responsive.
The LEDs are actually behind the front of the case and are designed to shine through a plastic prism piece that is buried below an extension of the case front and cannot be seen - unless in a totally darkened room. In any event, , the HDD LED is lost in the constant glow of the power LED. If you like to see when the HDD is active, as I do - this is definitely not the case for you.

4 out of 5 eggsIt's ok.

Pros: My first imppresion of the case was good.
-The case is all painted in matte black, including the insides.
- Very good almost amazing build quality. Sturdy metal side panels and overall good quallity.
- Plenty of fan mounts.
- Plenty of hard drive bays.
- liked how the motherboard standoffs come preinstalled.

Cons: My first imppresion was good but after i started building into it got ugly.
- The case and my I/O shield would not work together and ended up damaging motherboard because I couldnt get motherboard to fit in right.
-Case manual is very very non discriptive.
- Could use a side panel fan to cool GPU.
- Expansion slot "retention" device is JUNK and doesnt work.

Other Thoughts: Most of the cons are minor and dont really affect the performance to bad but still lost an egg for it.

I would recomend it to more experenced builders and not newbs. Overall a good budget case.

5 out of 5 eggsAn exceptional (5-egg) case by SilverStone

Pros: The case was more than adequate for everything I wanted to do. Great airflow and the CoolerMaster Hyper 212 cooler on my CPU fits perfectly. It is on an AMD Phenom II with compatible ATX motherboard- side fits a little "tighter" than it should but the thumbscrews are still easy to put in and everything holds well.

Airflow, as mentioned, is great. I installed 2 intake fans- one at the front and one at the bottom. The front fan is the SilverStone Case Fan Sleeve Bearing 120mmfan. On the bottom I installed the SilverStone 120mm Blue LED Rifle Bearing Case Fan which, as a Rifle bearing, is supposedly superior to the Sleeve style for horizontal mounting. The bottom fan is LED and gives an attractive blue "underglow" effect to the PC; it looks spectacular. The sleeve fan included a grill which was installed on the LED fan instead as the front-fan comes with an included filter/grill system and was not near any wires. My 1gb GTX 460 and Phenom II always are kept well within temp boundarie

Cons: A few notes on installation- the fan grill that you use to attach the front fan (and perhaps others) are meant to be REMOVED in order to install the fan. Unscrew and pull it off, then screw your fan in to that grill, then re-attach the grill to the case. You will need to remove the front panel by gently pulling from the bottom once the sides have been removed. This makes installation easy and space concerns are gone. With a fan on the front you have direct intake airflow over your HDDs extending their life- I recommend this addition. PSU cords will come dangerously close to the optional bottom fan- try to get a fan grill to ease your mind as far as collisions between spinning blades and your cords go.

As well, you may want to have 90 degree SATA cables for your HDDs as although it is possible to fit a normal cable, the sleek narrow design of the case and width-wise orientation of the HDD tray will cause you to bend your SATA cables to connect your drives.

Other Thoughts: Overall- I could not have asked for a better case for my first build. It is a sturdy metal body with metal sides and plastic removable faceplate/top fan slot. Installation of my components was quick and painless purchasing from this brand who does so well with their case designs. Great reviews from a site called "Phoronix" ultimately swayed me to make the purchase and I could not be happier. The case is extremely attractive, matte black. The sides get greasy easily so make sure to wash your hands thoroughly before installation and give the sides a quick rub down with a towel/cloth afterwards to remove the small amount that will inevitably mark them. Both multiple 5.25 and 3.5 external bays as well as quite a few HDD slots make this case a no-brainer for the long-term and possible upgrades/extensions to your build.

TL;DR- The case is a great buy for any enthusiast- adequate room, gorgeous looks, and great airflow. A 5/5 case-- exactly the quality one would expect from SilverStone.
