2 out of 5 eggsBad rebate

Pros: Excellent size.
Cute exterior.

Cons: The URL given by Silverstone to claim their $10 rebate is dead. It redirects to their homepage. Searching their website for 'rebate' returns only their homepage. Promising people one total price and giving them another is very unprofessional. Bad Silverstone. *Bats with newspaper...* Bad.

Other Thoughts: None of the other material for this computer has arrived, so if the case works better than expected when the innards do arrive, I'll update this review to reflect that.

1 out of 5 eggsWould not recommend

Pros: It looks nice when completely assembled. Top fan grill could be covered in mesh but that's personal preference.

Cons: Where to begin? I knew this case wouldn't come with many standoffs, I read that and was prepared. What I was not prepared for was the cheap, flimsy materials that make up this case. I had to use a faint touch to prevent from permanently dinging this thing. This is absolutely the most frail case I have had the displeasure to work with, and I have bought cases WAY cheaper than this one.

The motherboard tray is just as problematic. I had to keep my had behind it while plugging in the power cables/ video card else bend the tray out of shape forever.

The HDD toolless design is either a sick joke or my worst nightmare. Once you get the chinsey plastic pieces off, getting them back on to hold your HDD is nearly impossible, especially since you are trying to hold the drive in place at the same time. I ended up getting frustrated and sticking a couple screws in the drive, throwing the plastic piece in the trash.

Rear IO covers are the kind where you pop out and throw in the trash. I prefer replaceable IO covers. What if you pop out the wrong one and don't have a replacement? You'll have a gaping hole in the back of your case.

Included fan was mounted in the front, making me have to work even harder whilst already frustrated at the case, to move it into the back to exhaust any heat generated.

Feet aren't rubber. Case slides far too easy.

USB 3.0 plug doesn't fit snugly in place, falls out fairly easy.

Other Thoughts: I was going to get a similarly priced case by a better brand, but it went out of stock. I'm kicking myself now for not waiting as just about ANY case would be better than this piece.

Take my word for it. I've been building systems for over 10 years, 6 of which I was at a computer shop specializing in builds/repairs. This case isn't worth the materials it's made out of. Pass over it, buy from a manufacturer that's known for their cases... I think you know who.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case

Pros: I have 3 of these cases, good airflow through them and plenty of room inside

Cons: Has a red LED fan at the front of case, replaced with a non LED

2 out of 5 eggsCould have done better...

Pros: Front Panel USB 3.0, Bottom mounted PSU, Decent room for additional case fans.

Cons: Where to start.
-Lack of MB standoffs started the build on a poor note. 7 out of 9.
-Only 1 included case fan.
-Tooless design is a joke, Expect to use screws on at least the 5"1/4 bays. ( I had to use screws on the HDD rack too)
-Flimsy side panels make putting it back together a chore unless the case is laying on its side.
-routing of the USB 3.0 cable, Audio Jacks & reset switch is VERY annoying when going for a clean build.
-Not a fan of the perpendicular HDD rack, case is too slim to fit multiple cables if you fill it.
-SSD mounted to the bottom of the case (case needs to laid down for removal or adapter brackets to fit HDD rack)
-Magnetic dust filter (Why even bother?)
-Power Button is ugly IMHO (Pictures don't do it justice)

Other Thoughts: This case is not worth the hassle. I could have done better choosing a case, and SilverStone could have done better designing a case. All in all it IS a functioning case, it holds the components and the PC runs. I have no intentions of returning, but builds have gone A LOT smoother in the past.

2 out of 5 eggsSome Annoying Flaws

Pros: - Looks nice
- Adequate room for fan expansion
- Some attempt at tool-less design
- Low price

Cons: - Did not come with enough stand-offs and screws for the motherboard
- Screws are all put into two separate bags (mixed in each)
- Manual is not helpful and lacks an inventory page
- Would have been helpful if some labeling of parts that come with the case was done (either in the manual or on baggies)
- Cheap rubber feet do not minimize vibration
- Strange magnetic air filter
- No PSU cable hole with which to easily route
- Case simply does not feel as sturdy as others in a similar price range

Other Thoughts: I just got this case for a build for my little brother, and we are now having to wait an additional day so that I can go purchase a new set of stand-offs and screws. That puts me at risk of purchasing the wrong ones, or using mixed stand-offs and damaging the motherboard, when they should have just included the standard amount (9). BEsi

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Bargin

Pros: Good looking, fairly solid construction, multiple hard drive bays with easy mounting. Top radiator grill area. The led fans aren't too bright. The top vent looks like there is enough room for an H100 radiator. I will find out soon. Seems to have decent airflow. I fit a Noctua NH-U12P heatsink in the case with a little room to spare. The case is a nice size. The top grill cover adds character and reduces noise.

Cons: Cable routing isn't outstanding but it works. The top cover, with the fan mounts and holes is a little bit flimsy. It moves easily but shouldn't be an issue after you mount the fans. The power on button is fairly bright and cheap looking especially when the system is off.

Other Thoughts: For the money you won't be disappointed. I mounted a few more red led fans on the top grill and the case looks pretty good. It is a little light when you talk about construction but compare that to the cost and this is a pretty good deal. Check you motherboard for a USB3 20 pin header. I wish Silverstone included an adapter and added a few bucks to the cost.

5 out of 5 eggsNice basic case

Pros: Power supply can be installed upside down.
Front led aren't too bright.

Cons: Could use a few more motherboard standoff screw.
Usb3 front panel connector is 20 pin which isn't common on all motherboard and there is no adapter.

Other Thoughts: Would be nice to have esata on front panel.

Had to RMA the motherboard, because of the 20 pin usb3. My fault I knew about that, but didn't look at pictures carefully enough.
